I feel like maybe Mischa. Noel already said he would vote for Mischa, Ricky finds love beautiful and would want Mischa to marry Talia like he planned. Constance would tell Ocean she's going to vote for her but then change her mind after she has her realization before Sugarcloud that she missed so much in life because she didn't appreciate it. Mischa appreciated Talia, loved Talia, openly and wholeheartedly and now he can't act on that, which I think Constance would connect with, so she'd change her vote to Mischa. No idea how we'd get Ocean to vote for someone who "sucks at math" though, lol.
I feel like we’d have a similar monologue to when she was the tiebreaker for Jane, in both scenarios her reasoning would relate to the fact that if she doesn’t vote for Mischa it would prove she’s learned nothing and that humans suck
Misha and Talia deserved to be together 😭 what’s even worse about it too is that this happened in the early 2000s, and Talia was in the Ukraine. Misha’s adoptive parents probably didn’t care to ask or know about his life at all, so there’s a strong chance Talia was never told and never found out about his death. She probably just thought he ghosted her 😢
The thing is that realization happens in the afterlife. If she were tl get revived she wouldnt remember any of that and would stay the same pre character arc self she was before the crash. 🎀
The competition is really just between Constance and Mischa. Noel's life was unfulfilled not even because it was short-lived, but because he preferred a fantasy. Same with Ricky, but he also stepped down so no one COULD vote for him. Since the final vote went to Ocean and Ocean alone, after she and Constance talked about whether she ever vote for her, I think she'd end up choosing her best friend.

Ricky would have still dropped out so that eliminates him Noel seeing everyone else's reasons probably would have voted anyone but himslef. bc although he never lived the life he wanted, i feel like Constance and Mischa's stories would make him feel like his wants aren't as "important" as theirs Constance would have had a very good reason to make ppl want to vote for her but rlly i feel like she wouldn't accept it. I feel like she'd be content with the memories of her life and accept that she had her time, and even if she didn't use it to her fullest, thats alright. Mischa would be the one everyone would want to choose. He had a difficult life and someone he wants to return to. He has the passion and motivation to live a fulfilling life. Everyone would want him to live again. Ocean would pick herself. Realistically without Jane she would have never learned to feel compassion to others, or see everyone else as their own ppl. She would still believe that everyone else is a "zero" and shes "the hero" She might feel a little guilt about it but still think the "right" decision is to pick herself bc "what the world *needs* is people like me"
100% Mischa as much as I feel bad for constance, he deserves to live. He never got to have a good life, his mother had died, he died without getting to meet his financé I feel super bad for him, but if he wasn't an option. His songs show you have hes feelings about everything also, this song is awesome is his rage about being dead and about everything, Talia was the passion he felt for her, but in Talia it switches to rage (it Turing into hip-hop at the end of it) showing that he's upset about never meeting Talia never having his happy ending
I think Mischa, if you go by the same logic as was used for choosing Jane Doe, Mischa lived the least, his life was miserable and he deserved to have another chance, and he had someone to go to
Here's a burning question. If Ocean somehow got picked, what would she do with her life? She had a whole song on why she was the best choice and that she would help progress humanity. I'm curious to know what she would have done that would be so significant. She may have been self-centered but she was also very determined and sure of what she was saying.

We should consider the fact that Ocean would have still been the one picking. This being the case, we can eliminate Ocean because of her reasoning from the actual play. Ricky conceded, so that leaves Constance, Mischa, and Noel. If possible, I think Ocean would have conferred with the others, telling Karnak she needed this because she had no right answer, guaranteeing him she would still choose in the end. I don’t think Constance would have let Ocean pick her, because she realizes by the end that she had so many fun times in Uranium. That leaves Mischa and Noel. I think Noel would have been chosen. Even if Ocean didn’t get to talk with the others, she would have realized that Noel did not have his story wrapped up. He did not get anything out of life. Constance had her town, Ocean had her lesson, Ricky had his imagination, and Mischa had his fiancé. But Noel, he had nothing but a desperation for love. So, Noel would have been chosen in my opinion.
I’m so torn between picking Mischa or Constance. Mischa has his beautiful love for Talia, and has by far the most concrete and achievable goal of the group, marrying her. But Constance also has realization before Sugar Cloud about how much she enjoyed her life and didn’t appreciate it, and it would be really sweet to see her be able to keep on living with a greater sense of appreciation and purpose
Head cannon: Talia goes on the cyclone the same time the choir does because she wants to be with Mischa, she dies to, Mischa and her pass on, reborn, and fall in love all over again and not have to be country’s apart . (And her song in the show would be called: My dear newly-dead love)[this of course all follows if A: Talia is real and not catfish and B: if she visited Uranium to (finally) meet Misha]
I agree with Mischa. He needed a life as he grew up without one. But, here are my disagreements with each person. Ocean: sure she’s my favourite character but she seemed cocky and wanted to be a very forceful leader as she wanted everyone to vote for her Constance: She seems more happy in the afterlife so maybe she should stay in the afterlife that way she’ll be forever happy Noel: He may be different than others but he can live as Monique in the afterlife. Mischa: what if Talia was a catfish? That’s what I fear for Mischa as his heart may be more broken if he finds out the truth. Ricky: he can become space jesus in the afterlife
Imo, it’s a hard tie between Noel and Mischa (kinda biased bc i love them both). I find that - like Mischa said - Noel got cut down before the poems could come out of him and he had huge dreams. Meanwhile Mischa has so much love to give to Talia and the world, but no one ever saw past his bad boy demeanor. Both of them were trapped in a small town and always dreamed of escaping, at least one of them deserves to live out their dream :[
He's not my favourite bit depending on theories I think Ricky deserves another chance at life (that's if the person gets reborn rather than just surviving the accident). Because of his parents odd descisions (aka taking a vow of silence when he was diagnosed) he never really got to form any real relationships with people. Along with Jane, he is the character who got to "live" the least, and deserves to experience life as the rest of them did.

I think it should’ve been Mischa. I thought about Noel but I feel like he would’ve just continued being miserable in uranium. (I’m also kind of bias because of how well you did though) he didn’t really get to have a life because he was shunned away by almost everyone including his family and I also just feel bad for Talia as a character just because she could possibly never find out that Mischa died and think that he just stopped talking to her
Definitely Mischa, he didn't wanted to go back because "oh I missed my life and *I* need to go back" he wanted to go back to (by his own words) turn all the suffering from Talia and make her happy, he just wanted to have a calm life and a family, non of the other people in there had really strong reasons to go back, not even Noel that I personally love. Everybody deserved better, their life was tragic, like Mischas and Rickys, Mischa never got to meet his fiancé, and Ricky lost his speech so nobody listened, their all tragic and sad their songs cover the fact (except ocean) of mischas, constances, Noel's (I think) depression, like Noel trying to blend in (Noel's monologue) and constance's jawbreaker (monologue) and don't forget about Mischa not able to meet his fiancé (the vocals during the ending) so they all deserved better. I think it should be Constance and here’s why, because the roller coaster accident gave her like a new perspective on life it showed her how beautiful her life and uranium city really was so I think she should get to go back because now she has a new perspective on life and now she’ll just be able to live a better life.

Okay SO I have actually thought about this a lot. If Ocean didn't choose Jane, it would be because she didn't go through her character arc and probably would have chosen herself. OR there's a version where Jane didn't die. Karnak changes history to save Penny, so she wasn't on the rollercoaster. In that case, I think the second person Ocean would choose is Ricky because she feels guilty about telling him to drop out. Maybe Ricky would accept it to help her with her guilt, but I think more likely he would encourage her to choose someone else. Since she can't choose Ricky, she would choose Mischa, because he has the most to go back for (Talia.)
Ocean would have won, since it was ultimately her decision, but assuming she did change, she probably would have picked Constance. But I think Mischa should have been picked after Jane. I feel like Jane would have been the best candidate regardless of anything
Constance, Even though i love Ocean and she had the most promising future and Misha's song about Talia makes me cry i feel like In ocean's case she didn't treat the others as well when she was alive And Misha, i know he didn't have a great life but if he were revived and got to meet Talia and turns out Talia was a scammer or something he didn't expect that would ruin the life they gave him back even worse Constance understood the beauty of life in the end and i think because of that she deserves to revive
I always thought it would be Noel. His life was spent entirely in a place that he felt he didn't belong, and he most certainly had the "passion" for a new chance at life, as displayed in his song. Ocean wouldn't vote for him but I think the others might've. It definitely wouldn't be Ocean, because she sucked. It wouldn't be Ricky because he already accepted he was dead ever since he was a small child. Wouldn't be Constance because she finally found peace and realized that the life she had led was beautiful. That leaves it to Mischa and Noel. Mischa's life in Ukraine was implied to be relatively good before he went to Canada, but Noel never felt like he belonged. I think he might've been able to convince them to vote for him by mentioning that while everybody else had a sense of identity, he still needed to learn who he was.
Noel displayed a really good reason for everything he did in his song, like it really brings tkgether and means that he souldnt kf died because he hasnt even lived yet. Thats one good reason
I would have 100% voted for ocean, though at first she may had come off as a jerk she just craves academic validation from others and she really wants to change the world. She has a kind heart and just wants be the difference that she has been so very taught to be
Personally I say Constance. Her monologue right before her song is just beautiful and makes me cry every time. Her song is super catching and it shows so much self expression. She is a very relatable character as well, she struggles with what people will think of her, she cry’s with shame, she doesn’t ask for help when she needs it. But at the end of the day she’s kind and funny too. So that’s why I would vote for her, or maybe Mischa because he also is just an amazing character with an amazing dynamic with the rest of the choir.
either noel, constance or mischa but mostly noel, bc i saw a comment on this vid before talking about how everyone had smth except noel. so basically ocean had her knowledge or smth, ricky had his imagination, mischa had tasha and constance had her town, but noel had nothing except a longing and desire for love and to be loved. its kinda sad how he also never go to publish his poems bc he had huge dreams that he never got to achieve. so definitely noel :D
Honestly, i thought constance would've been the one to go back. Her life was tragic. Although Jane's clearly was too, we never knew anything about it. Constance made significant growth, becoming comfortable and more confident in herself, so I feel the would have earned a life back on earth.
Everyone keeps on choosing either Mischa or Constance because they had something positive to look forward to but i pick Noel because he had yet to find something to make his life worth living, and him dying after accomplishing absolutely nothing while only having a dream that never came true is very sad.
Constance. She was the only one who enjoyed her life, and she had realistic aspirations. Also, Ocean promised Constance that she would vote for her, and then broke that promise when it truly matters.

I’ve always thought Noel. He spent most of his life waiting for it to start, he never got the opportunity to be himself without being ridiculed or forced to tone it down. He should get the opportunity to live for once
Either Misscha with his love ballad and sad backstory or Constance with her change on worldview. Both of them made really good points about returning to their lives, unlike Noel and Ricky who dreamed of a different world and Ovean with...that whole spiel lol
I feel like with something like this everyone's answers will be dictated by their own lives and experiences. People connect with the characters or can understand the characters motivations and therefore will pick them. In this case all of them want to be alive and everyone can find an attribute from each character that they feel shows how they 'deserve' to be alive. I feel this reflects the person voting. It's interesting because many people could probably use this as a psychological test to find out what you consider important to you, or what you relate to the most.
I absolutely love Mischa. He is engaged and loves his fiancee more than anything, he should get a chance to live with her. he's my favorite character by far.
i'm team constance! she would have a renewed outlook on and perception of the little pieces of life that she shamed herself for caring about for so long, and it would be really great development for ocean to finally pick constance who was always so loyal to her (even when she was very...well...ocean) in life as well as also being really great development of constance to vote for herself and pick herself for once and enjoy her existence and its beauty!
I definitely think it’s Mischa. Ocean had her “redemption arc” where she realized picking herself would be selfish and that may or may not have happened with out Jane Doe there. I also don’t think she alone would have been given the final vote if it was just the five of them. We already know that Noel would vote for Mischa, Ricky basically dropped out and even if Ocean did vote for herself, I don’t think anyone else would’ve voted for her, not even Constance. Mischa votes for Noel, Noel for Mischa, Ocean for herself, Ricky doesn’t vote. So that leaves Constance. She has the final decision basically. She kind of hates Ocean right now and hasn’t really had a connection with Noel as much. I also think she would be able to understand that she had everything that Mischa wanted but never got, and that would be why she voted for him. I don’t know, this is all just an elaborate theory, but it’s fun to think about.
I think Mischa, not just because he's my favorite character. At the end of the song Talia, you could see everyone felt bad for him, and he already secured Noel's vote we know that.(if everyone were to be able to vote) Everyone wanted him to be able to live his life as his dream, with Talia. But the thing is, if Talia was not real, then it would all be a waste of the other's lives, and they wouldn't know until after they sent Mischa back.
In this show rn!! Mischa. I think he’s the only one who doesn’t fully get to “learn his lesson” or properly reflect on his life fully by the end. Everyone else has an arc, and he does too, but he never really sees past the things that he was too focused on in life. I think Constance and Noel both accept death by the end , a Ricky already accepted even since he was a child, and Ocean has a whole arc where she doesn’t pick herself. Mischa is always kind of mourning what might’ve been and only really gets to know anyone a little bit in their songs.
Noel because his whole song was basically about how he didn’t get to live the life he wanted and wasn’t happy with his end. For all my people about to argue with me, Constance is happy with her emd, Ricky gave up on life at 6, Ocean got to live her life as she wanted, and for all you Mischa lovers…Talia is not real. That’s why Noel stops him when Karnak tries to to him what would’ve happened so he only would’ve lived to be disappointed rather then die and think his love is real.
mostly mischa but also constance, constance realized how special life can be but she was also content w her life which is why i think it should be mischa since he grew up never getting love, no father and a dying mother and adoptive parents who never rlly loved him. after hearing constance’s song or facing death, maybe he’d find talia or find love and live his life finally with love in it
Constance and Mischa for me. I saw a bunch of comments saying they hate Constance, but her character had the most fastest development - much faster than Ocean's, tbh. Mischa, because someone is waiting for him and they're about to get married!! I want the both of them to experience life as they wanted it to be. Talia deserves to be happy with Mischa.
Either Constance or Mischa, they both had things they WANTED to live for, while the other 3 either didn't want to go back, or didn't have much besides a fantasy.
IRL ocean would of won realistically but I think misha,Constance or Noel would of won bc Noel was working to build a life Constance finally understood the meaning and beauty of life and misha was going to get engaged to talia
i would say constance. she, after her death, understood how good her life was. she spent her whole life being unhappy with her life and i think if she was sent back she would make the best use of the opportunity because of her epiphany on the rollercoaster before she died. and even though the others would 100% make the best use of their lives after learning from the other kids if they were sent back, they wouldn’t have the same drive constance would. but like if it were up to me they should all go back
I think it should have been Mischa if Jane wasn’t there. His life was tragic, he was sent away from his home country to a brand new one with adoptive parents who ignored and neglected him. He was also engaged and never saw his love, Talia, in person and wasn’t able to meet her or go back to Ukraine before his ultimate death on the cyclone. He really deserved to go back and live the rest of his life happily in my opinion but we will never know who it would have been. To be honest, Ocean too because she deserved better but I also live for some good Ocean slander at the same time so I’m kinda split lol
