That was awesome, the way you stitched it back up was wicked, seems like high level cycling iq coupled with the strength to carry out the task. Chris is clearly a beast as well. Geezer does a break away ride then can still hold your wheel and come around in the sprint.
@Silvrhands1137

Wow that was sweet. When you took off it looked like Chris lagged behind for a second. How far back will he benefit from your draft as your going 39MPH?
@letsgo_inc

the benefit extends for over a bike length and Chris was moving from wheel to wheel catching whatever he could. So he still got his leadout big time

I can't understand why they let the bunch and the breakaway finish together. The breakaway should always fight it out among themselves. Pull the bunch with three laps to go and let the break battle it out in the remaining three laps. While it was within the rules so team Mike's Bikes is not to blame, this was a poor win, nothing to be proud of, a leadout by six lapped riders.

lapped riders should be pulled with 3 to go - tis lame af to lead people out when you've been lapped. Pretty sure you called a cliff bar bloke out ages ago for doing same thing like letting gaps go and things when he was lap down.
@rupertraphael
@rupertraphael 3 года назад
I have a feeling that lapped clif bar rider wasn't part of a lapped field which is different from the situation in this race.
@NorCalCycling
@NorCalCycling 3 года назад
Clif bar intentionally dropped off the back of the field to be disruptive and help his teammate in the break which had not yet lapped. Big no no and totally different than this race
@CharlieCarbsandCycling
@CharlieCarbsandCycling 3 года назад
@@NorCalCycling you still not reckon you should be pulled with 3 laps if lapped. Happens in most UK races and reckon it's way better and lost less chaotic / dangerous and better for those with no team mates

I swear in AUS we do the finish differently. If there has been a lap taken, then the peleton finishes but the riders who are a lap up do another lap by themselves so it's just them contesting the finish. But I guess there are regional differences.
