This band is the real deal. Go see them live. You will move and sing along to every song. Vinnie has a powerful voice, and he really channels Robert Plant. The entire band plays so well; they’re all incredibly creative and fun as well!
I'm 69 years old, and believe me, these guys are frigging awesome. Been listening to Zep since just after January 1969 when the first album was released. Never heard them recreated with such tonal accuracy across the board.
I want to point out the excellent vocals, but everything else here is excellent... Which is a damn near miracle when talking about a cover in the first place and of Led Zeppelin worst of all. Standing ovation. Just wished it was longer.
Yeah I believe September 7th 1968 was the first Zeppelin gig in front of the public. Billed as The New Yardbirds. They definitely played those two songs. Helter Skelter was recorded just after. 👍
Wow, love what you guys did with this! Every time we play Whole Lotta Love, the psychedelic break just takes away momentum, so this is a great solution to that!
Only, he's a few "cents" (1 cent=1/100 of a full tone) low. Don't believe me? Just make an A/B edit (parts of both songs edited together) and you'll get an immediate reflex of wanting to tune the singer a few cents up. Not that he's bad, he's doing a splendid job otherwise (yes, I've said 'splendid', don't pretend you didn't hear that!), it's just those few cents.... ;-) (This is also the reason why some singers just CAN'T do harmonies together, and others mesh problemlessly.)
