I have a mamba and think it’s great for everyday shaving. I also use the Karve in both brass and stainless with the B plate. I shave every day 365 so need a razor that’s more mild. BBS every time. Great shave. 👍🏼

I was shocked how good the Mamba was. Probably my best razor from a collection of 40+. I put that RR handle with a DS Cosmetics S9 head. That head and handle have compatible styling.

Great shave. I’m doing Movember in lieu of No Shave November this month as a fun experiment to see how my mustache would look if I grew it. It might end up looking ugly, but that’s ok if it turns out that way. Good thing is that I’m still gonna shave because that’s what I love doing. It’d be miserable to not shave if I do No Shave November, so that’s why I chose to do Movember instead of that. That’s ok if you’re not doing it. It’s your choice and we’re fine with that. Hi Chris, Off work with a stinking cold so have the chance to watch and reply. I have often looked at the Mamba 70 but bought the all stainless BBS instead. Hi Dave.. In work at the moment. The Mamba is a nice razor but a bit on the mild side. Would make a good daily driver though. Have had my eye on the BBS for a while now. Hey Chris! I was on my way to bed and saw you posted this, so I stayed up to watch. As you noted, it would make a good starter razor - I gave one to my daughter and her partner as an intro to DE shaving, and they like it. But as I said to you, it was just too mild for me. I used several different blades - all at least as aggressive as if not more aggressive than the GWS you used - and never managed a truly satisfactory shave. Around the same time, you said you'd like to try one, so off it went to you. Glad to see you give it a go. You mentioned the Gamechanger .84p - one of my favourite razors - during the shave; the two aren't much alike. Was the Mamba too mild for you as well?

Hi Keith.. Thanks for staying up buddy, I appreciate it. Thank you again for the Mamba 70 head. It's a great addition to my ever growing Razorock family in the den. Absolutely agree, this would make a nice starter razor and a daily driver. To me I feel the blade more than the 84 which seems a little strange, given the blade gap difference. The Mamba did feel a little on the mild side but in all a very nice shaver. Thanks again buddy, have a great rest of the week. See you on the next and stay safe ;-)

Hi Greg.. Thanks for watching buddy. I can't pick all the notes out all of the time. When I first started I could pick out 1 or 2 but my nose has got used to the different notes and I can identify more of them now. Some soaps are so well blended that I can't pick any out sometimes.
