The Little mermaid was as equally rejected, but the only difference is that they are not shutting down peoples accounts for saying that they don’t like the movie. You have to remember that people were being silenced online for disagreeing with the little mermaid.

I really hate that the defenders of this movie just pick ONE of the MANY issues people have with it. It's not just Latina Snow White, it's also the exclusion of casting actual people with dwarfism and replacing them with those CGI monstrosities, it is removing the love story which was a main part of Snow White, it's giving her that Lord Farquar hairdo, it's the fact that the actress hired for one of Disney's most iconic roles actually said she barely watched the original and yet she speaks constantly about how terrible it's message was. I never saw Snow as weak. She was only "rescued" because she was in a coma and incapable of rescuing herself, not because she's a "girl". It is also the fact that they are shitting all over the film that started it all. Snow White just should not have been touched. If they wanted to tell the story of a Latina girl who is leading a bunch of weird magical non-dwarves and a troop of imaginary cgi nightmares, they should have just named it something else. Also, Whoopi can just STFU. This isn't about her. I know she's just trying to keep her job by toeing the company line, but ugh. I'm just shocked the View is still on the air.

I dont want to spoil too much but the coconuts are gone and replaced with cgi horses, were getting the director of godzilla minus one to do the rabbit scene and whatever her name is and the people who made the power of one/power of many musical will redo the Camelot scene diss track style. also the cast of the view will play the peasants in the violence inherent the system scene. I was thinking about this the other day and came to the conclusion that they actually hurt PoC and LGBTQIA+ by making all this DEI crap. I never used to have a problem with a character being gay or black or whatever, but now when I see it I just kind of roll my eyes automatically because they always make those characters that thing for the sake of it and not to fit a good story.

The frustrating thing to me is that Hollywood elites are under the impression that the rest of us care about diversity like they do. Whoopi is blown away that we're not impressed by the diversity on display as if that should be a reason for enjoying a movie. Growing up in the 90s I saw plenty of diversity in movies and TV shows. I just never really thought about it because it doesn't matter.

I have a hard time getting excited about anything Disney. Since they went Woke, and backing things I don’t agree with, Disney is an afterthought. The CEO ruined the theme park. They cut way back on things we used to enjoy. A major decrease in staff is coming up soon. The park is too expensive now and way too complicated to enjoy being there.
