I remember driving through memphis as a young teen because my dad was looking for some church. He asked some randkm guy at a gasstation about the church and he showed us where it was. Turns out, dad just wanted to see the church where the reverend al green held his sermons. Sadly it was not a sunday and the church wasnt open so we couldnt meet him, but we listened to al green all the way back to OKC. It may not have been a sunday and i may not have gone inside, but i was taken to church twice that day. Once physically and then again through music. Thanks for being part of that memory reverend green.
LAST WEEK I RECORDED A COUPLE OF MY ALBUMS, THE SECOND LP WAS ( MR AL GREEN ) SONG LIST ( SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL ) ( TIRED OF BEEN ALONE ) ( HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HART ) ( LET'S GET MARRIED ) LOVE YOUR MUSIC!
I love seeing Whoopi. She makes every part she plays her own. You lose Whoopi and see whoever she is portraying. She worked hard, and then she became an EGOT.
