Graeme O'Neil takes a look at "The View" ladies "feeling awful" for speculating about Princess Kate before learning of her cancer diagnosis, and Whoopi Goldberg's precaution served her well this time around.
Imagine bullying a woman who had surgery. Regardless of the diagnosis, it’s terrible. Then to refer to it as “the fun of where’s Kate” is beyond the pale.
Exactly ! They are only sorry now because she has cancer , they knew she had serious surgery and a long recovery and still kept going , what a shower of tw*ts
And these women are parents, aren’t they a fine example for their kids on social media, let’s make fun of a woman who they don’t even know but asked for nothing but privacy. They make me sick to my stomach.

Apart from Whoopi that group were rude and unkind. And they've targeted a thoroughly decent woman who tries to do her best. I cannot understand why Catherine, Princess of Wales arouses such resentment in them. So nasty.
They revert back to their teenage selves where a group of girls sit around and diss another girl, because they are jealous of her. Their apologies were almost as disgusting as the clips he showed of them dissing Kate.

That is how they act on every issue and subject. When the View first started it was entertaining, informative, and made you believe women had finally won their place at the table. I am British and am appalled at how the Princess of Wales has been treated by the media and programmes like this. Thank heavens for Whoopi Goldberg. Catherine, the Palace, told everyone where she would be until Easter. No mystery. She had major surgery. The rest is none of our business except to wish her well and respect her privacy. So many people should be ashamed and apologising.

@louisejones3478 if I thought for a moment that was really kate speaking, I would have all the compassion in the world, but from the second my eyes rest on that video, I knew it was off Besides, kate no longer has cancer. She told us cancer had been present, not was present. She said the surgery was successful. She said, and I quote, "I am well." She also said she's getting stronger every day. There is no need to feel sorry for her. She has lots of support and the best health care. I just don't understand the mystery, the lies and games being played, and what it means. Everything will come to light sooner or later, and it's gonna be huge and bad.
she never said when the photo was taken, it was just a happy photo with the children in celebration of Mother's Day and to thank people for their support, often people create family cards or posts using the best photos not necessarily the most recent

I would love to see your proof that that was not Princess Catherine. She had said that when they tested the stuff from the surgery they found cancer present and that she was going for preventive treatment. So you only have compassion for people who are poor?
I think Whoopi makes a good point that if this happens to you, you may be more cautious and sympathetic. However,, common decency should have been enough to leave someone recovering from major health issue alone!!
Intestinal surgery is very serious. Her cancer treatment should be respected, not treated like a group of mean girls target practice. Thank you Whoopi, I understand what you were saying. Prayers for the Princess.

You're assuming Kate will live long enough to be queen and the fact is, only God knows if that will happen. Either way, not everyone cares whether she becomes queen or not. the worst was Sunny, if you see the whole clip, she couldn’t even get her one sentence about her apology out without try to blame another person.. three times in a row.. Alyssa on the other hand said she was wrong and apologized straight forward. That’s how you do it.
The only puicture that was released by Catherine was the mother's Day picture. Sonny , I was a prosecutor, Hostin makes it sound like the Palace did it. Whoopi is right. The Princess of Wales does not have to tell anyone her medical condition. I am sure Sonny would like it if people were trying to find out about her latest medical condition/cosmetic intervention.
The surgery alone was very serious and no one knows how things are truly going to work out after that. It takes a lot of recuperating and can have follow on difficulties, some temporary and some permanent. I don't get why that wasn't enough to concern everyone.
Other than Whoopi, the ladies of the View are so disrespectful of the Princess of Wales they're an embarrassment. Catherine has more grace and poise than all of the hosts combined.
What happened these last few weeks was despicable! Catherine The Princess of Wales has been a model princess from the very beginning of her entrance to the RF. She has been proven to be a kind, serene heinous who has never put a foot wrong and this is the disrespect she received from these vultures in Media and Social media. Her body belongs to her! Yes she is a very public figure but has a human right to keep her health issues private between her and her family. It’s equally disgraceful of her to blame the Royal family - it wasn’t their business to deal with. Catherine didn’t want this out until she had time to process it. More credible journalists reported she wanted to do this herself & not release a statement. She wrote her own address too. There’s nothing Kensington Palace could have done, bc MSM would never have been happy with basic updates. It’s clear now she’s having chemo & didn’t want to risk having a professional photographer incase anyting got out & she also has to be careful with infection.

I'm British, and I just don't get why some Americans are so utterly obsessed with the British royal family. It is of course much, much worse since Meghan Markle married Harry, because she is American and she has merched their titles, but even so there are several other royal families, why are they so obsessed with ours.
