@@tylertorluemke9739 I think the alternate method gets the tightest. I use my whoopsi Daisys to do it. I leave the whoopi end fixed on the button all the time now to keep it front falling off. Throw it around the tree and tie
Tried daisy chain set up on my BGH sticks, not impressed, not secure enough for me ,looks pretty easy standing on the ground, different situation when standing on a stick and linemans rope connected ,can't imagine trying it in the dark, if you're new to this method of climbing I would suggest staying with your cam buckle straps,simple proven method of attaching sticks, you can silence them with cam strap silencers ,just my opinion, hunt safe !
I agree it's not going to do that. It's not going to be cam strap tight. But it does keep you from being in between links. Using daisy chains to tie a truckers hitch is my preferred method.
You need to milk the bury after you tighten before you let the slack out. There is another method I found being used on hammocks that I think will work. Very similar to the whoopie but I haven’t seen it used for climbing sticks yet. Made one yesterday and seems to work really well so far
