i asked too much why to Einstein Photoelectric Concept, now i have my own theory and i don't completely believe in him, ab concept sir padha rhe hote hai toh pata chalta hai jo theory banai hai usme ye sab rely krte hai + new factors bhi find out krdiye jo science community me shayad help bhi krde 😆once i get this jee exam done, i will work on it making things more clear and experiment on it and provide mathematically proved theory to the science community, for now i wrote all the things that came to my mind for my future self to work on, i remember i also found missing parts which never explained in magnetic moment formula of Torque and Toppling from 11th

Tbh most of aspirant don't have cbse boards.. While most have state boards and they have different tbl different syllabus and even boards syllabus is very vast and has hard checking.. So we have to spend most time in root learning the thoery.. And thus lack practice..
I relate to this video a lot. I am a dropper, and I have always tried to answer the whys throughout my jee preparation. I believe each concept can ve learned and reasoned out intuitively. But the biggest challenge I have faced is that my teachers never took the time to answer my whys. They'd point out the shortcuts. I'd keep asking why, but then they'd say “You give me the question you couldn't solve. Leave this aside” They've always focused on rote learning formulas(teachers). And I feel this is the major reason. Students are encouraged to memorise formula by coaching teachers, but no one is usually encouraged to think deeply, to ask “why” and to think for your ownself. I feel if I had a way to answer all my whys, because teachers dont usually answer me, hence I feel if I had any other source, I'd be much better off. I wish I knew how to clear all my whys. Another problem that I hace noticed, apart from the teachers not encouraging this “why” thinking, is that students are often scared to ask doubts. I've observed almost 80-90% of students are afraid to ask doubts as they feel their doubt will come off as stupid. I believe its important to be the stupid person in the room, as only then can you answer all your questions. Like it's necessary to be stupid and to admit you don't know stuff, than pretending and saying “yes” to teachers. Atleast when you're stupid you're learning a lot of new things. So to summarise: 1. Science is taught by teachers with the mindset “We need to learn science to crack jee” But it should rather be taught for curiosity, for knowledge. If it is taught like that, immediately it becomes clear to answer the whys. 2. Lack of resources to answer those why's. Not everyone has great teachers or teachers who care enough to answer your why's. I wonder if there are online ways to clear why's. 3. Most students are scared to ask doubts because they feel they'll come off as stupid.
Same here,. In fact there was a maths teacher in our coaching who used to mock students and make fun of them for asking questions which were silly for him. If this video was released 2 years back I could've .......
Droppers have to complete 2 years worth of course im a short duration of 7-8 months, that too at jee level. so it is practically not possible for a jee teacher to answer every why of every student. you can note down your whys and think about it at home are ask techers during doubt session or take extra time for them.
Tru tru. I dont feel moving to next topic until n unless i can on myself build all concepts logically without help of notes or anything just active recall. kisi bhi function mai f'(x)=0 par maxima minima and even point of inflection aa sakta hai extrema isiliye aata hai kyoki us point ke aage aaur peeche banne wale tangents ke slope ke sign different hote hai for example the function might go from increasing to decreasing or from decreasing to increasing, decreasing wale part mai tangents obtuse angle banati hai hence f'(x)
So basically tangent is a secant in which distance between the two points the secant cuts tends to 0 . 1. it touches just one point but may or may not cut the curve multiple times. 2. you can check the above point by drawing out some tagents on a sine curve 3.a tangent may lie above or below or both at the POT . Regarding the thing you are talking about at 7:00 , It is due to the reason that f'(0+) is not equal to that at f'(0-). Hence the function is not differentiable at that point(Known as cusp) and tangents at 0+ and 0- are completely different from each other . This is the only knowledge I have regarding your question . 7:00 you said that RHL and LHL are not equal and thus the function is discontinuous and non differentiable. Do you know why the function is discontinuous? And why f'(0+) =/= f'(0-) ? to easily understand this, just draw the tangents of a discontinuous function (any function ). At the point of discontinuity, you will see that the derievative "jumps" from on point on the cartesian to another. And thats why f'(0+) =/= f'(0-) and derivative is not defined at that point.

Hi, I even observe this lack of understanding in the IITs too (Bachelor, Delhi to be specific), I think the IITs are unable to create incentive for the masses to learn. But, this is the best method I resource constraint country can afford. I feel lack of proper funding to educational institutions is the main cause, there is nearly nil R&D and craze for the research and deep questioning is been killed by the board exams. We need processing units not memory cards.

Not all why's, but I can say that Professor Leonard taught in a great way about calculus. His channel, for me, has been a gold mine. He won't teach you on the JEE level (can't say that for sure, but I haven't given JEE so I won't comment). Do check him out

I'd say, that studying books (mind you, not coaching modules) really helps build this knowledge. Also, I used the word 'studying' not just reading, you have to take time to read between the lines, not just skim through theory and you will surely acquire deep understanding

just for curiosity I started pondering about the tangent thing you brought up (I also thought tangents are the lines that touch a curve) I came up with this conclusion: perhaps tangents are lines that passes through a point but doesn’t intersect the curve, this satisfies your example since from vertex of “V shape” infinite lines can be drawn haven’t used google so no idea if this is correct or I am just spitting nonsense…
I don't know from JEE perspective but as in 10th its a line which just touches the arc or curve from outside unlike chord and is perpendicular to the centre along with some other properties and shit
The V shape curve is not a tangent because just before (Lt f(a-)) is strictly decreasing and just after (Lt(f(a+)) is strictly increasing so no value of f(a) can satisfy the curve to be tangent hence it's not a tangent
