If I don't get angry, people will just continue to take advantage of me.

That's flight or fight response for stress. Just relax and others may want to help not take advantage as bad feeling to you

The only way i know how to deal with it is to stay glued to my smart phone or to mytablet and play some games on my tablet. right now, my gadgets have become my best friends.

I was raised by a single mother ,she was already a witch but when she got to be around 42 and menopause kicked in she became a witch on wheels !!!!

I feel like I'm loseing my mind at times, I can't stand hearing my boyfriend's winey voice and my 25 year old know it all son. I try to be emotionally supportive and financially supportive to the point where I'm almost broke. Then it's the guilt for getting angry when my buttons are pushed it feels like my son plays on my good heart. The weight gain, I feel unattractive, fat, lost, depressed, you name it. I'm 58 when will this all end. Just rereading all of this is so pityful its almost humorous.

Hi Sharon Emotional states such as anger tend to be one of the phases of the menopause and most women find that they ease off at some point. If, however, this has been going on for a long time or is getting worse then it is best to double check with your doctor just in case any other underlying health issue is a factor. Best Wishes Eileen

Very nice and informative details I have experienced this and I realized that I was getting angry unnecessarily and then started practicing deep breathing and eating small meals going for a nice walk and keeping myself occupied

Girl! I was just experiencing the guilt cycle. I'm at work cleaning. I've had PMDD my whole life. I have ADHD and from what a phsycologist says, I'm on the Autism Specrium. I have a suspicion (alot lately), that woman on the Autism Spectrum feel it worse. Honestly. I often wonder if my brain has swelling because of the complete 180 of my thoughts. I do have to watch my sugar. But if our nervous system is already struggling can you imagine? Either way I have told my husband I believe that whoever created the hulk either was a woman...or knew one who has suffered like us!

Hi eleen which magnesium should I take magnesium citrate. Or magnesium glycetrarate pls let me know
@AvogelCoUk
@AvogelCoUk 3 года назад
Hi Anita Calcium Citrate is a good 'middle of the road' magnesium supplement which usually works fine, however, the best absorbable ones (which may be more expensive and more difficult to obtain) are magnesium taurate or glycinate. Best Wishes Eileen

Exactly. I think i had a double whammy for me. I am a hydrocephalus patient and I have a vpshunt( ventricular peritonial shunt) to drain the CSF fluid from my brain to my abdomen. I was 12 when I firsthad myvpshunt put in and it worked fine for27 years and I was veryvery lucky with that. But then, at age 39 my vpshunt broke and I had to have two brain surgeries to replace it and after that I was in a lot of pain after both brain surgeries so I was placed on a lot of high pain medications to control my pain and i ended up gastritis, gastroentristis, a weak gallbladder, kidney issues, i could barely eat because of all of my medications. And i was still having chronic headaches, after my two brain surgeries and so i was placed on antiseizure medications. it was so difficult. I battled these issues for more than four years. I would get anger issues due to all this. And who can blame anyone? I used to be a pretty understanding person and try to undsrstand my family but many times I did not feel like I wanted to. then when I turned 44, I started missing a period here and there. I would get cramps like I was about to get a period but nothing would happen. I would go to the doctor and she would say that I am too young for "perimenopause" or "menopause" which would make me soooo angry. I thought that I knew my body better than she did. I am a vegetarian, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't do drugs etc... I put up with all this after loosing my mom to ovarian cancer 2016. Then in 2020, my dad was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. He expexted me to look after him even through I was going through health issues of my own. whatever was cooked, the food that was prepared was not good enough, the tv programs were not good or to his liking, the entertainment was not to his liking etc... That made me angry etc... Here I was trying to deal with my own issues, and i didn't have the time to deal with his complaints. He was just going to have to make the best with what was given to him. So there were definitely times when I blew my top with my dad. I did not care that he had cancer. so yes, we as women should be allowed to express our emotions because it is not healthy for us to keep everything inside. this is how we develop heart trouble and heart issues. so, if you feel like blowing of some steam once in a while, it's okay to do it. in fact, you should do it because you will let all that steam out like a pressure cooker letting out steam.
