Anastacia dominated the 00s, but once she hit 40, her options dried up, discover her later career from the masked singer to anastacia’s new album in 2023
Maybe it will help if you stop talking negatively about her, for regular fans these channels are absolutely no fun anymore, she is also just a human being, i'am sure fans are proud of her
@@carolinevanbaal7570I believe I’m talking honestly. Sometimes the truth is negative. I made a while video celebrating Left Outside Alone if you just prefer hide kinda if videos
@@divatalk9011 "I'm Outta Love" as that was the very first song of hers I first heard 24 years ago and that's what made me a fan in the first place but I different can personality relate too "Left Outside Alone"
@@popland1977 it's so true seems she's not inspired to write mew songs o she doesn't know what to tell. I like Our Songs cause her voice is still beautiful in the "beauriful" song, "symphony" and born to live and others are cool but yes we know she can do more interesting things. But anyway she's human too and whatever makes her happy it's ok for me and she looks happy singing best days for example
This is reinforcing the point of the video… no one should settle for having “a golden era”. The fact she is alive and singing and still delivering mostly really good performances should be something to note and praise and promote (commercially and otherwise) and not to simply smile and nod and move on. When younger artists have this sort of treatment we say they are underrated. Because Anastacia had a golden era means that she should now settle to having her work be perceived a certain way? If you critiqued the quality of her work and her team decisions I would absolutely agree with you- but not that she should be contempt and resign to the fact that she’s a nostalgia act and her days are gone. Good music and good singers don’t stop having talent and quietly retire because they age. it’s just not promoted because of a weird aging concept the industry has. And I could give you a ton of examples from her era who suffer this same faith like Dido, Natalie Imbruglia, and Natasha Bedingfield who in my very honest opinion have all released the best albums of their careers in the last 5 years, yet absolutely 0 mainstream attention. Reasons? Certainly not lack of talent. But what do they all have in common? They had their “golden era” so now it is expected that all their work since then tanks or magically resurfaces and has a Sophie Ellis-Bextor like effect, for people to notice they never left and are all releasing strong music? A very reductive view that disservices music as a whole.
I really like Heavy Rotation tho. The music style fits her voice. Anyway I hope there will be some new album like Resurrection. My fav album from my fav singer ❤
I think this mentality is much more prevalent in America than in continental Europe or in Latin America or Asia, tbh. In continental Europe you’d have names like Mina, Raffaella Carra, Caterina Valente, Nana Mouskouri and now Monica Naranjo, Marta Sanchez, Kylie Minogue, Mylene Farmer, etc making a splash in the charts and selling tickets into their 50’s+
@@divatalk9011 Yeah that's why I said continental Europe, which does not include UK and Ireland. Kylie, in general, does well in continental European charts.
Padam didn’t do particularly well in continental Europe tho? Plus Anastacia hasn’t had much success in continental Europe in a long time either except for the novelty album of Our Songs which
Wow! Yes, you have more of these! Noice! These *#sexism** & **#ageism* videos will DEFINITELY be *#REQUIRED** **#VIEWING* in all schools! I, for one, will be sharing these in my scant social media accounts. Also, the youtube patriarchy seems to really bury your videos down the dump. Shame! 🤬 I will subscribe to you on May 12th - 8 hours from now, before the Eurovision 2024 Grand Finals start! So excited! I want Croatia to win. 🤞🏼😣🇭🇷 (saving your videos in my folders)
I am beginning to question the credibility of these videos. Kyle Minogue, had plenty success in the USA, not like Anastacia. Best days was promoted, not a lot but to say it did not receive any is a lie. I am in South Africa, I saw the promotions.... The album is a passion project not a forced one. Please do your research properly. There are more things that is wrong in this video. It is tedious to mention them all.
Best Days had promotion after the album was released in September. It received no promotion when the single was released in March. Kylie had limited success in the US.
