Affordable houses are mostly built at places without proper infrastructures or access to public transport such as lrt or mrt. Houses with good infrastructures and public transport access are priced way out of affordable range of average citizens, thanks to greedy developers.

Personally I can accept that the house price increase if the salary rate increase as it should be. Average salary rate same as 15 years ago..

The worst thing is, government agreeing to burden the Malaysian by helping the foreigners to own houses in Malaysia..

Go to Sabah.. Where it is the poorest states in malaysia.. But the houses are too expensive than in the peninsular..

The problem with Malaysia is that our income is too low. Can you imagine fresh grad pay is still RM1800-RM2000 on average? Even a maid in Singapore earns on par if not more than a fresh grad. Try buying properties overseas. Even Bangkok is more expensive than KL now

because developers are not building homes for malaysian. their target is the rich foreigners. it's just HK 2.0.

The main problem is while our houses price increased so significantly, our minimum wage doesn't change that much.
