Tony you are so right. I have met a few men like this who are obsessed with being on the internet and VR. They are always extremely socially awkward and strange. They have no masculine qualities, no charisma, and no personality. Technology is turning them into empty shells.
Men have unrealistic expectations. They want everything on their list. They want no strings attached. As soon as there is an argument or problem they walk away. Go to the next option. You can't build emotional intimacy.
I haven’t entertained a man in over a year ( and I am always used to entertaining one, even if it’s just through text) and it’s refreshing. No needing to prove myself , no stress , no being coerced into something ridiculous, no jealousy, etc. I honestly think it has helped build me up as a woman and I am now ready to be a wife, just patiently waiting for my partner. With all these men in my line of sight and phone I wasn’t able to put myself first and my priorities and my worth. It is LONELY but absolutely worth it.
Great points, Tony. And the insecurity leading to violence has frightened many women, honestly. Men are lonely because so many women today are literally afraid of them! I must admit I've felt this fear in a few instances during the past month. I was in a Lyft ride share with two men last month. One was the driver, and the other was a passenger. Both of them mean mugged me as soon as I opened the door. I discerned their spirits, and I was tempted to pass on the ride and order another car. I didn't though, and the tension in the car was thick. I prayed through it. It just seems like too many men today are super angry and even jealous towards women, and it's showing BIG TIME.
Thank you cause he didn't talk about how violent men are and have always been. I would rather they order sex dolls then end a woman's life. That's how a lot of women feel now. Husbands, baby daddies are ending their partners lives and he thinks men are lonely because they can get any woman via virtual sex. Um they are lonely and violent. There are fully grown some 50s and up who still have no structure. I guess some people don't know how to unlearn bad behavior/ways. Or learn new things.
I'm not gonna lie. I was one of those women who cheered when I heard that men are the most lonely they have ever been. But after hearing Tony's argument, I agree 1000% that most men choose to be single because they don't want to put in the work. A lot of men want the perks of intimacy absent the work to achieve intimacy. It is rooted in dysfunctionality. And it is scary to witness firsthand. I know I am guilty of living in my mind, fantasizing about the perfect man. I need to work on myself so I can be the change I would like to see in this world.
Your comment makes no sense. Women are and always have been oppressed by males. Now they are being negatively impacted by their OWN doing. And males want women to feel sorry for them?? NOPE! Males need to take accountability of how they created this nightmare and learn how to undo it. Males need to be willing to PUT IN THE WORK. I've came across a lot of men that like to text instead of talking on the phone, and when I don't like texting, they still keep texting as if something is wrong with them smh.
I had a guy that only texted so I called, he didn’t answer but texted back. I said I’m trying to call you why are you texting. This fool said he don’t want to hear me breathing all on the phone. What…..these men are weird.
I think that it kinda deals with some men they don’t want to practice being monogamous. Some men spend their most of their lives enjoying sexual relationships then a regular relationships. So they develop pet peeve’s about women and become single because it makes them feel better about not being in a monogamous relationship.

That there's not enough mental health help out there. A lot of people cannot afford to pay for counseling. Free counseling basically doesn't exist. Many people don't have faith. Because there's so much mess being exposed about these Pastors. I pray and hold on to God's word. The devil is busy everyone. But even though many may not trust God. Step back and look around you. The devil is just causing more destruction. How's that working out for anyone? I'd rather be alone than to allow. The devil to play tricks with my mind and soul.
As women, it’s important to not celebrate the situation that men find themselves in. No one wins in that situation. It means that women will also be lonely. You are very correct that men will pull away from women with substance and standards when they realize what she requires of them. I met a gentleman that very openly stated that he wanted to “just vibe.” I told him that I was not what he was looking for. He said “we are grown, we don’t need titles and a relationship.” I told him again, that we were looking for different things and I wished him well. He was shocked that I was not willing to entertain him. Which let me know that other women are more than willing to deal with that situation. It’s probably been easy for him to not be in a relationship but to have his physical needs met.
Girl Same ! This guy that was “pursuing” me is kinda tick tock famous… I was like ohhhhh no !! 35 and entertaining thousands of women. I didn’t know that b4 we meet and he got my number. Hs kept asking me to come over and I’m like “I don’t go to mens houses “ . He text today and made a comment like “why you won’t come see me.” I told him not to text me bck because we are on two totally different pages. I’m going through the exact same situation. I’m not bitter about who doesn’t want the same things as I, as I know my King is out there and we will meet when we are supposed to. Although I agree celebrating a man's loneliness is not wise, don't assume women will be lonely because of it. Many women are without a partner by choice and are happy!

I’ve had some experiences with men that have tried me and had to say to myself some women has been allowing this so I know it’s low. Tony I agree that technology has made people less social, but I'm a coder and need to speak up for our people lol. Yes some of us are social awkward and introverted(which isn't a bad thing just means you need charge time from people), but that's not all. Antisocial is to be crazy....that's not it lol. Lot of us have active social lives and healthy relationships. This is just a stereotype....again some not all, not even most. And yes there are some very good looking men who are in tech. Most of my colleagues are married with kids. And if anything some of us also have the biggest egos and VERY confident from their intellect. This is part of reason why so many minorities shy away from tech as a field...a very lucrative one. It's a stigma that's it's nerdy, hard, weird, etc. I don't want women being turned away from men in that field assuming they are weird, antisocial, etc.
