I’m from a poverty-stricken, corrupt Eastern European country, but among the very few advantages of this place is that this kind of radical 3rd wave feminism hasn’t caught on here. To me, it seems like radical feminists are too well-off and problem-free to have any real issues, so they are working hard to create issues to justify their activism. I can tell you from experience that people who struggle with real problems, people who are really oppressed do not have the time and energy for propagating fake outrage all over the place - they are just trying to survive.

Same but I'm from a poverty-stricken, corrupt South American country. Where they bombed railways and certain streets were actually dangerous to be female in. If I've learned anything about 1st world women it's that they've been spoiled into big, powerful children and are actively moving the culture into Phase C of Mouse Utopia. Soon we'll either be dead or conquered by men who haven't fallen trapped to rise of the planet of the victim. Our population distributions are inverting, economies suffering and societies at war within themselves because women forgot, or should we say abandoned, their very, very, VERY important place.

Notice the pattern between Daniel and MEMPHIS, they're both from poor countries. It's not that feminism hasn't 'caught on' it's that men are still men are in the country and women won't get away with it. But the longer young children and women are subjected to our media and see what they could have, they'll inch towards western feminist values. The second they get a chance to act like women do in the west, they will.

My mother’s best friend was a doctor. He was a brilliant and caring man, he put his patients above his own life. He had two ex-wives, but they were both evil (one tried to kill an innocent person, got away with it). He had to pay alimony to both. He couldn’t afford it. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow,” were his final words before he went home that night and killed himself. Alimony is heavily misandrist.

@Dalonghair
@Dalonghair 6 лет назад
blackened872 Yes, it was career suicide. Cassie’s career was making feminist documentaries about women’s issues. This latest documentary red-pilled her, and there is no turning back. She can no longer make viable films about feminist issues. No more LGBT marriage rights, no more gender equality, wage gap bullshit. No feminist public figures will give her interviews anymore. No mainstream media outlets will give her publicity anymore. Her career ended the moment she released this film. Thankfully, she had the self-awareness, maturity and foresight to denounce feminism. She now needs to take her career in a different direction. Cassie Jaye is a survivor. She will be alright. Plus, she is getting married, so she will have a secure future regardless. If they have children, I have full confidence that they will raise them properly. That thought actually gives me hope for the future.
@poetsrear
@poetsrear 6 лет назад
That's funny because, through sacrifice and personal risk did the males of our ancestors strive to great heights of building a civilization. Oftentimes risks that would be more or less suicide. Now, the post-feminists of today are protesting, campaining and demanding more and more liberties and "screentime" for women, but scarcely provide the responsibility and personal sacrifice to natually redeem it. That is called "a sense of entitlement". Talk about double standards there. But also a "strong and independent" being does not need to "cry for societal momma-machine" to grant those rights. A Strong and Independent being accomplishes it by herself, knowing that it tastes sweeter if you earn it by yourself. But moreover to the "funny" part: By abandoning the belonging to and the ideology of the community known as feminism, Cassie Faye has successfully completed the IDEAL of the said community. Exposing herself to personal risk and stepping into the "unknown" for what she independently believes in and accomplishing it, she has become truly equal to the greatest of men; and a living, incarnate ideal of the true strong and independent woman, ironically, by forfeiting feminism. There are those that talk about doing things and those that do things. In such intrinsically mysterious and outwardly unintuitive seeming ways does living life work. Peace.

The paradox of the film is that no man could have made it and got anywhere near the traction that Cassie Jaye got for it. There are probably male members of the MRA movement who have created just as insightful and thought provoking material as this but will not get the spotlight simply because they are men and their input is somewhat discounted - even when it comes to advocating for their own rights. Think about who are the visible heroes and stars of the MRA movement and more likely than not - for the layperson - it is going to be a female like Karen Straughan or Cassie Jaye. It is like Karen said: as soon as a man pleads for help that plea is devalued and he loses his 'status' as a male. The documentary is pretty much a plea for help and understanding on behalf of the modern man - therefore (extrapolating Karen's formulation) the only way that it could be received as authentic and of value in modern society is through delivery by a female voice.

Karen hits the nail on the head with her description of the favoritism for women over men that pervades our society. But what really rankles me is when feminists I encounter say that they just want equality, and I then point out all this favoritism for women to them, and they justify it by saying that men have mistreated women all through history and therefor the favoritism for women now is just their way of getting even. That's what feminists really mean when they say they just want equality--favoritism for women IS their idea of equality. But they won't openly admit that because it would undermine their victimhood narrative that they use to manipulate people into giving them favoritism.
@blahblah21747
@blahblah21747 6 лет назад
That's one of the things that makes this third wave of feminism so ugly - often it does come across as revenge. The vindictiveness, the victim-playing, the moral outrage at everything, the misandry... it's like feminism has become a mental health disorder.

resigned liberal Maybe some of the young girls that subscribe to feminism do not think that way, but the leaders of it surely do. Your own words describe it in a nut shell. They want power and control and authority over men, while giving men nothing in return. Do for me, do for me, but F you.. you deserve this because of patriarchy.. I didn't mean superiority as in better than.. I meant it more as rule over. Although, I might just be seeing this side of it because I am a woman. So my interactions with them would be different than if I was a man.
@swordoftruth3530
@swordoftruth3530 6 лет назад
I will say, getting feminists to admit men have issues is like pulling teeth, and if they do they brush it off because well its just not as bad or happens less often or some other minimalistic comment... and it goes right back to women have it worse. Then I get called a self hating woman. So, it is far easier for me to get them to see the damage they are doing to themselves with this ideology. Its sad, but its true. This is probably why anti feminist women don't comment as much on mens issue pages. We already know feminists won't listen or at best minimize the issues.

This woman is an angel. I was married 3 times, loved every one with all of my heart, worked jobs that literally put my life, and health at risk, for 60 and 70 hrs a week, sometimes in bitter cold or smothering heat, to provide for them and to try to keep them happy. I did o at jobs that I hated, and always, I came home to constant complaining about how the $200,000 house was not nice enough, the car wasn't nice enough, the furniture or the appliances were too old. That we didn't spend enough time with their friends (despite the fact that I never got to see my own family). I still have nightmares form one of those ex wives. All of which not only left, but left for someone with whom they had already been having an affair Yet to hear most women, we are the oppressors? Yet so many women wonder why men like me run like hell from them the minute they open their mouths.

velvetgoth_ Demanding equality you already have is not thinking. Demanding equality of outcome when you already have equality of opportunity however is entitled and communicates to the world that the certain group that demands it cannot achieve what the rest can because of their lack of ability or skill. It's fine to want that for disabled people but for a feminist to want that she would have to assume women are disabled in a way. So much for strong and independent.

I would like to add something: From when i grew up, i was always aware of the women's liberation movement and it seems a good thing. But now that I am moving into my 50's Karen has helped me understand the pain that i have gone through. I've gone through childhood abuse by members of my family and while women were demanding more equality it seems that we men were left behind since it has seemed that this idea of equality seemed to be more unbalanced by feminism as not a project to close gender equality but to shame men for a whole host of things, most of all for just being men. Everyday i have gone through my life with that catch-22, be a man- man-up ,suck it up etc etc, and at yet at the same time being shamed for doing just that. Everyday seems like a battle against futility, and yet it goes on and on. So i want to thank Karen and Cassie, not for offering some magic solution. But acknowledging that the feelings i felt were real and that many other men out there felt as i did.

Feminism has never recognized that men are measured by a different standard. It goes back to the general assumption that men are stronger or more privileged. When men and women compete against each other women are given more credit for their success, men are criticized more for their failures. It's a double standard. If we want gender equality it should be an issue.
@hanamlchl
@hanamlchl 6 лет назад
Agreed, Tan Ler. Another example is that women are allowed to behave in certain ways to achieve their goals, that men are not allowed to: - If the woman is feeling neglected in the relationship, it is seen as a failure on the man's part to meet her emotional or physical needs. - If the man is feeling neglected in the relationship, then he is attempting to impose his will on the woman. There are a multitude of other ways in which women have unreciprocated advantages in social interactions.
@drmangrum

I would say they aren't after "more equality" they are after "more" period. Objectively, women now have more rights than men. They get all of the privileges with none of the responsibilities. That's not equality, that's supremacy.

I remember when I first realized that I was going to be attacked by other sociologists for asking questions. Had researched and written final paper for college degree (sociology/anthropology with focuses on gender, sex, sexuality, race relations, and futurism). The final paper that I had poured into was simple. We were told that 1 in 3 women dealt with a serious self image issue and body positive issue or eating disorder. I was testing the further research that had been done on the fact that 1 in 4 men also dealt with the same issue and couldn't figure out why it was never talked about or studying further. The retiring head professor of the department didn't like that i was asking questions not deemed pertinent because they didn't fit the "message" All of my other professors, men and women, thought I was on to something and encouraged me to do the work and reviewed my paper before submission. I was regularly an A+ student and the professor gave me a C without much reason as to why. That was 13 years ago. Keep up the work Karen

I'd say "...and two egalitarians walk out of the bar.". really, the vile immature MRAs as well as feminists share a lot of the SAME feelings ironically concerning DIFFERENT issues in different parts of the issue riddled system. once they clear out that their emotions are very similar, if not the same (can't say for sure), then they can view the problems in a more complex, interlinked fashion and work better together.
@erosmangr74
@erosmangr74 6 лет назад
@SuperGorak I have yet to see any vile or immature MRA's, and I have been following the movement for some time now. The description you have of similarities is simply false; feminists openly oppose any rights for men, or any responsibilities for women, whereas MRA's openly support rights for both sides, as well as the appropriate responsibilities. There is no middle ground there; one side denies reality, and the other accepts it. This is simply a false dilemma fallacy, where you strawman the Men's Rights Movement to make it seem like they can be as extreme as the feminists, but they can't, because there is no ideology behind it. Show me an actual MRA who advocates that women should not have legal rights that men have, that women are harmful by their nature to society, and to children especially, and that women should not be allowed to get into shelters for battered spouses, which should be all male, for safety. You are not going to find such an MRA, but I can tell you many prominent, leading feminists who say the female version of that, and who shape laws and policies all over the Western World.

I, the man, am the petitioner. The mother is the one who is supposed to have the support imposed on her, but because the man is usually the non custodial parent they entered the information in the system that way even though my paperwork said otherwise. So here i am, gallbladder needing removed. Herniated disc in the back. Trying to take care of three kids on my own while sick and wounded. Karen is so right about what she said when a man needs help. It doesn't matter what the reason or how Justified it is, when you get to the point where you have to ask for help you are no longer a man. Not to even mention the fact that the most difficult thing in the world for man to do is to ask for help. I became disabled and being a big Burly man and looking okay on the outside just makes it worse. Everyone thinks you're Faking It and that makes youeven less than a man in their eyes. Everyone disappears into the woodwork everyone calls you a faker, you're beneath a man you are nothing! Couple this with the fact that getting Social Security disability in the United States is nigh-on impossible and you have the perfect recipe for ending a man's life. Were it not for the help of a mgtow brother I would not have survived to this day. What a waste. Life is no longer worth living for men.

To Butch I agree. It is near impossible for men finally realize they are at a breakdown moment. When they get there the next hurdle is saying 'i need help' . Sadly to this day when we do that we (if you can find help) for all intents and purposes we are no longer considered men and by society, at that moment were lost. But still the drumbeat we have everyday is 'be a man'. It's a catch-22 that we live with it feels like not only are we not actually valued, but seen as some lurking enemy for society in general.

Pretty sure fedora started as a slur against white knights as in "yes m'lady - tips fedora" which makes sense as both the fedora and feminism is your inner city, hipster male thing. Feminists saw some men hating on other men and went "hey, that's our job" so took it and applied it the men they hate the most, MRAs, where it simply makes no sense anymore
@Spoonwood
@Spoonwood 6 лет назад
+Alex Smith I'm not so sure about that. There's a group called "Men's Rights News" that seems to have been around for a while (and not necessarily just on Facebook). Their image is a man wearing a fedora: facebook.com/MensRightsNews/photos/a.374606455959310.93022.374354865984469/374606465959309/?type=1&theater If that was the image that feminists saw of MRAs, or associated with MRAs, then the origin can get said to trace from that image. This is not to say that the attitude of feminists who have negatively talked about men in fedoras originates with that image though.

I've had this comment too. I fire back with, "Actually, I wear an Akubra", which often confuses feminists, except if they're from Australia. I definitely get the former feminists becoming MRA's bit at the end. I myself was raised to be and identify as a feminist, but ever since a particularly viscous pair of girls (who shared a mutual friend who had once been a friend of mine until a major falling-out that led to me telling her she was a horrible and manipulative person) falsely accused me of sexual harassment (really nasty behaviors I would definitely know if I had done, like pushing on up against a wall or following the other home) and I experienced the vindictive behavior of a campus judge who was supposed to be impartial but just automatically assumed the girls were telling the truth (even when I had an eyewitness-friend who was there when one of these actions supposedly occurred- and testified I was standing across the room crying, not pushing the girl against a wall- but he was another man, so...), I have increasingly questioned whether feminism hasn't gone off the rails at least a little bit- and why it makes so little room for men whose lives are ruined by false accusations (I lost a college scholarship opportunity and, maybe, my shot at medical school, thanks to those two vile liars...)

I have read widely on Aristotle, Plato, Parmenides, DesCartes, Kant....the lot, and have listened to dozens of brilliant talks, etc...Straughan's mind is exceptional, whichever way you look at it. She cuts through the present feminist mystique/(out)rage with the precision of a neurosurgeon. Cuts so deep, in fact, that I think she is close to touching foundational ground. And she does it at the same time in such a non-academic language that somehow she seems like the ultimate Plato opposing the irrationality of myth or sophists...an coming up the winner (at least rationally speaking). And to throw in her personal experience in the analysis!!!...In her words and attitude there is an echo the most valiant (and vilified) representatives of truth throughout history. Wow, where did this lady come from and I use the word lady deliberately as opposed to woman ... there is a difference. Just as there is a difference between being a feminist and being feminine ... men are attracted to the latter ... just saying. It is so refreshing to have an intellectual human being talking from real life experiences and understanding the importance and value of a father figure. Single divorced women with children and neighbourhoods with a high proportion of them have higher crime rates, delinquent children and generational poverty. Families need men badly. Very few men wake up in the morning and out of sheer boredom go and hit their wives. I'm no supporter of any violence, but abuse takes many forms. Women are known to abuse husbands and men generally financially, mentally, emotionally, sexually, constantly lying, failure to take ownership and accountability for destructive actions, as well as physical abuse. This may sound like a Neanderthal example but I think it works. When you abuse a dog it snarls and bares its teeth as a warning to the abusive person to stop their abuse. If that person continues to abuse the dog eventually it will bite. Please note ... the dog is the victim ... but when it responds in kind and bites its abuser all of a sudden it becomes the aggressor, the abuser claims victimhood status and people want to put the dog down for being 'vicious'. The dog was responding to abuse. This illustrates why, rightly or wrongly, there will always be an increase in domestic violence. Instead of vilifying men ... how about we bring out training courses to teach women what comprises domestic abuse, as opposed to domestic violence, which is only one form of domestic abuse ... and that if they stop abusing their husbands on all those fronts ... lo and behold, the domestic violence from men will all but disappear. People, men or woman, don't strike out just for nothing or due to one specific event. They do it due to sustained abuse of all of the above over time ... and all it takes is one ADDITIONAL event of abuse and it then there is a physical response out of sheer frustration of the woman's refusal to change her abusive behaviours. Treat the cause, not the symptoms. This Karen lady is clearly a caring human being. I'm so sick of this divisive talk of men and women. Both genders are first and foremost human beings and the sooner we get back to treating each other as human beings the better. My mother was a true feminist by example. She had a successful corporate career and achieved more than most men in her chosen field. She never complained about how much she earned versus other men or women ... She just performed well and got paid well as a result. She never asked for a pink parking space at supermarkets and the mere thought of it sickens her. My dad was also hugely successful in his chosen career and earned more than my mum although both were highly paid. My dad had a fair portion of his package based on commission so he had to perform well to earn extra, which he regularly did. My mum and dad worked well as a partnership and had a fantastic marriage. My mum and dad agreed that she should run the household finances, but they made all major financial decisions together. My mum ran the household budget and gave my dad an allowance each month for golf and drinks afterwards. His club fees were part of the household budget as were my mum's bowling club fees. It's called teamwork and has NOTHING to do with gender. My mother never got promoted due to affirmative action, she was promoted based on merit, performance and her willingness for continuous improvement ... I witnessed the extra study she did when getting back from work. She is appalled at the entitlement mentality of today's feminists and their false claims about wage gaps. Any self respecting economist knows that there is no male/female wage gaps in western society. There are no laws or company policies that deny women the same pay as men for the same hours worked, at the same times of day, with the same risk profile, the same manual labour content, the same skills, qualifications, level of experience, leadership ability and performance. A classic example of the stupidity of affirmative action is roadside workers. The people doing the hard manual labour are men. The people holding up the lollipop Stop/Go sign are woman. I wonder why? And guess what ... the men doing the manual labour get paid more, but feminists want the lollipop lady to get paid the same as the men doing all the hard work and they want 50% of roadside teams to be women. Have these feminists even stopped to consider the fact that maybe other normal women may not want to do manual work or may not be capable of manual labour due to their smaller physiques? Also they may not want to work the higher paying night shifts, because they would rather be at home with their kids. Those lifestyle choices means they will get paid less than men ... it is labour force dynamics NOT gender bias or institutionalised policy. Thank you Karen for your intellect, rational and real life approach.

bluenuttefly Thank you for sharing that story . It is not an easy thing to talk about. Some news column wrote an article about wanting a zero tolerance policy for bullying ... a typical virtue signalling media article. I responded to the author of the article cautioning them that they need to make 100% sure they know who the "bully" is so that the zero tolerance policy gets applied to the right person. Often when people see someone respond with 'violence' they immediately tag them as the bully or aggressor and the person being hit quickly claims victimhood status (a classic psychopathic behavior). What they don't realise is what took place beforehand sometimes over weeks, months and years for that person to respond in that manner. Quite often these people are quietly spoken, normally functioning individuals who have simply had enough of being abused either mentally, emotionally, financially, physically or all of the above. And of course you feel guilty after hitting someone when you shouldn't feel guilty ... they are the abusers. Go well and get some good support around you.

It's this genuine appreciation and empathy for the other sex that will make us more sincere advocates of each other, because sadly current feminism seems to be ironically doubling down on identity politics with an increasingly toxic lexicon ("mansplaining", "male tears", "neckbeards" etc), and it's for that very reason that it's resulted in the growth of MRA's and anti-feminists having to counter that engine. Women will not allow a change that they see a detrimental to themselves.. Only when men refuse the burdens of supporting them will it change.. Male suicide is a problem only because the dead produce nothing... Once you accept that you will understand the real motivation behind so many suicides.. It's a final fk you.. Me i have been on my own for 14 years, never going near women, what do i mean? I interact with them at the shops et al but that is it. This is how powerless men are now. My son is 19 has crohn's disease, the govt want kids to go back to school in june without no vaccine. The school never involved me with the decision just sending an email saying thanks for filling the survey. I never got any survey to fill in, this is normal - fathers are ignored. My ex wife wants my two youngest boys to go back to school, this is despite govt scientific advisors saying it is not safe to do so. So what is the point? If my son's get covid 19, not only could they get ill from it but my other son could die from it as they both live him. Hows that for the pendulum swing too far. I have no power to stop this, i have to wait and see if he dies from it. Send kids back into the community without no vaccine is irresponsible but hey what does my opinion count for- nothing, nor does it seem my sons' lives.

Karen NAILS IT. I have experienced almost everything she described. Fortunately my ex wife gave me a clean and quick divorce. Still she saw me as a dog that needed to be on a leash regardless that my behavior did not demand such treatment. The real mind blowing event for me was after she moved out she left a walk-in closet filled with her stuff that SHE told me to throw away (I had to clean up her mess) and I found a list hidden in an old backpack of RULES FOR OWNING A MAN written BY HER. Few men get such an honest closure and even I only got it via a piece of paper I was never meant to see.

Please Stand By I Think about kicking myself regarding those rules. I was so upset by finding it I threw it away. That was over 10 years ago so the list is lost to me. It was something I didn’t want to think about for a few years so my brain dumped the finer details.

every week i am hooked once more...this is exactly what i expected: many mras are former feminists. maybe gynocentrism is just the flipside of patriarchy? yes, that is something i think about. maybe we should get rid of both ideologies? maybe they DO exist? hate and vitriol are easy. call me pathetic, but i don't think that you only can fuel change with rage, but also with it's opposite. i still hope for there to be a reasonable place between the extremes, in this case extreme feminism and extreme men's rights activism. the thin vibrant line between yin and yang jordan peterson speaks about. this was part the spirit of the peaceful revolution in the gdr, which i experienced as a kid. the churches actually played a political role in it...

I think many women can see the short-sightedness in going too hard on the man. It might be some combination of having some empathy for what might happen to you, and trying to not kill the golden goose.

Karen, you make so much sense, and youve really nailed a lot of points about how we men are treated in society. Example, many years ago i was struggling a little, as we all do at times , so i finally went to the Doctor for advice. As it happens there wasnt anything physical wrong at the time, it was more mental, great, i knew what it was and now i could deal with it. I then went home and my partner asks how it went, i answer, he believes it is depression, her response was and i quote word for word. " and you call yourself a man" . Needless to say i removed myself from that situation after that comment and then progressed into the child support system which is another story, of which you have also nailed some valid points. Thank you Karen, for having the guts to discuss these issues, you are a great human being.

Nerd Stain Karen has always been interesting to me because she is blunt and in your face but less offensive than the likes of Paul Elam and as such is often who I show people as their first intro to men's rights and anti feminism so Cassie's first emotional response would be quite interesting to me.

I was pretty intimidated by her. I could tell she knew a lot more than me and although it's perfectly acceptable for interviewers to not know as much as their interview subjects, it still put me on the defensive. I felt like I should know more having been a feminist for nearly a decade, but feminism never taught me what Karen was talking to me about. Ginger Socrates: if you're showing feminists videos of Karen to introduce them to these issues, I think that's a great introduction for them, but keep in mind they'll probably still be defensive and resistant. My thought process in the moment was, "I don't know much about this (topic), but why should I trust this person's explanation of it?" It wasn't until I did my own research that I finally started to accept the points Karen made. For example, the Boko Haram scene that's included in The Red Pill movie, Karen told me that story in our interview, but I didn't believe it until I did my own research on the group and all of their attacks.

Cassie Jaye don't feel bad. Fact of the matter is, there will always be someone that knows more than you on any given subject. Absolutely comprehensible Cassie. I believe I'd have been intellectually intimidated too - kinda was, watching some of her videos 1st time. Sometimes I find Karen boring, talking too slowly, only 10 min of a 50 min video really worth my time. But then she blows my mind, making a perfect example of a person thinking outside the box. Changing perception, changing worldview, delivering knowledge and perspective which was totally unexplored before.

The whole "be a man" thing has been way more damaging in my life than I realize. I mean, so much of the depression I experience stems from the idea that I'm weak or a man shouldnt feel like this. You're weak. I've contemplated suicide in the way a samurai would commit harakiri. Like taking my own life would be the only way I could save any honor I have as a man. Does that make sense?

Here's the thing; men are humans. There are billions of us. If you think any emotion you've ever had is unique, think again. It's why we laugh so hard when a comedian says something and we're like "OMG, I thought I was the only one!". Stop worrying about what how people pretend you should feel because they're full of it. You'd be amazed at how many men around you either feel like you do, or can relate to how you feel because they've felt like that at times too. Take masterbation: everyone does it but goddamn is that a tricky subject when you are just hitting puberty. Nobody wants to admit it, and will make fun of others for doing it etc. It's ridiculous.

She's great. It's really helpful when women talk about this stuff. Since we get discounted so easily when guys are trying to explain why they're blowing their brains out. These women that stand up carry more weight with some because they aren't tainted with masculinity and by guys because they feel less alone.

She is brilliant, if you want to understand what she is on about ask yourself if anyone would be listening to this if it was a man explaining all this, they as she rightly claims would simply be dismissed, Jess Phillips an MP in the UK who is meant to represent ALL her constituents wanted a "Women's day" dedicated to discussing "Women's issues" in Parliament, when it was suggested by a male MP for the same for Men she scoffed at the idea and proceeded to insult him and laugh at the true issue of male suicide....Feminism is cancer...

My ex wife admitted to abusing my kids and she still was able to get half custody. She attacked me with the man she cheated on me with. Accused me of abuse. Tried to get the kids to say it and they STILL WONT because it never happened. Ive had PTSD since 4 years of age from my mother cracking my skull with a high heel shoe. I love my mom people dont shame her. But for real i hate abuse in family. And she was able to get the kids back. My kids cant get out of counseling until they basically admit that i abused the ex wife. Court ordered them to be in sessions till they say its ok. It should be ok. Because we got half and half. But for some reason it feels like they are still trying to take me back to court.

I'm sorry for the poor sound quality. We had many delays in getting this interview to happen at all. A little backstory to this interview: it took place around midnight in a noisy hotel lobby/bar on the very last night of the Int'l Conference on Men's Issues in Detroit in June 2014 - www.avoiceformen.com/international-conference-on-mens-issues-detroit-june-26-28-2014/ I was interviewing many other people at the conference and VICE was taking up most of Karen's time for this piece: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s6dC0AQ25xU.html Also, please note that all of the filming for The Red Pill was paid for out-of-pocket by myself, my mom (Nena) and my now fiancé (Evan Davies). We were working with a shoestring budget. The Red Pill's Kickstarter campaign was only to fund POST-production (not filming). So, we were working with very little funds and a very tight schedule to try to snag an interview with Karen. Technical issues aside, I think it was an interesting interview. Hope you are enjoying seeing the Raw Files!

Karen has it right. I was devastated when my x wife left. Worked myself almost to death still couldn't keep her happy. I just couldn't be subservient enough. Nothing was ever good enough. Lost both kids, and everything I owned when it was over. So I believed. Now, 10 years later, I thank God she did that. I was headed to heart attack or stroke if we continued. She would have dumped me in a nursing home and divorced me anyway. I had no value to her as a human being whatever. My kids eventually saw the reality of the situation.They are glad she left too. We wouldn't be the family we are today........if she had not. I kept what mattered most.....My kids, my health, and my sanity. She got away with it, with full support of the system. See, what she did, it's not a crime. The only anger I have left, is that I allowed myself to be degraded in such a way. My second wife attempted it too. She learned quickly that I will no tolerate that.
