Ridiculous - saying that Hamas has "no incentive" to end the war in Gaza, (because they have the sympathy of the world) - they in fact have every incentive w/ 40 thousand dead and twice that number of injuries and wounded citizens - to end this war. Because this war is about wanting the attention and recognition of how Palestinians have been treated since 1948 at least. Hamas exists because of how Israel has treated them - especially the military factions of Hamas - are the direct result of the occupation and brutal oppression of Israel. The complicity and enabling by the U.S. is a shameful fact also.
Actually I think he is right about that one. Hamas approval rates never have been higher among Palestinians and they never had more new recruits than during this war. The heads of Hamas reside in Turkey and Qatar thus don´t have to fear for their personal life. Hamas is not stupid. They knew that the israeli response would be barbaric and gruelsome and they were counting on it. Plus Israel is now viewed more and more as a rogue State. The longer and teh more horrible this conflict is the more they will gain support. You just said it yourself. Hamas has been an effect of the brutal opression and occupation. And that´s why they basically don´t have an incentive to get rid of those factors.

Hamas is a group based in Gaza. Israel as a nation state is a reality and if Hamas sought to remove it through the brutal tactics it employed on civilians on October 7, besides abduction and captivity of hostages, it should have anticipated such a response from a powerful state. There never was a justification for terrorism on civilians.

I'm not a Muslim, and I'm not a Jew. I want to judge everything from a neutral perspective. So for me it's about the truth. Everyone should seek the truth. For decades, we in the Netherlands have been lied to about the situation in Palestine/Israel through the TV news. We kept seeing attacks committed by the Palestinians. All Dutch people have been brainwashed for years. At a certain point I wondered why those attacks were committed. The Palestinians have been chased from their homes and land into the desert. Later, life was made almost impossible for them. They are discriminated against, humiliated, murdered, and kept in poverty. For decades, all positions in television were occupied by people of Jewish descent. So we were presented with one-sided information. Now that I've done some research, I know better. I and millions of Dutch people with me support the Palestinians. I will try to share the information I gain here with others. Please folks, share the videos you see here with the world.
