Damn I just realized YOU did the soundtrack, that’s amazing. I legit spent 5 minutes searching for these tracks on RU-vid thinking they were original AC tracks. Mad impressive
Escort the Mining Ship can be absolutely trivialized by two flamethrowers and two explosive shoulders like the songbirds. You can nearly one tap the wheels with the double Bad Cooks.
The Third ending definitely has similar vibes to "The End of Evangelion." Even if ending up in an ambiguous evolved state of humanity, the characters are given a second chance, and leaves it at that.
@@Sav-vid Arguably, it allows that openness for new stories and potential plot holes that may have come from certain endings. For example, we don't seem to spot Rusty again, after the underground fight during said third ending. That could always mean he can make a return in a sequel!
Yes for sure!! It's really cool how even though we do get a lot of information there are so many things that don't really get a closer and are shrouded in mystery, if from continues the sorry somehow, be it on a sequel or dlc, I really hope that we also get a little more from the people at Branch and their objectives
@@Sav-vid they (and Bandai) have announced that they plan to make sequels, and bring the series back to life, with AC6's success. Hope they don't fumble with that momentum and rush out that expansion to the series. Kotobukiya is also planning on making some Model Kits based off the AC's, so that's something else to look forward to.
For those struggling with the resort the strider, flamethrowers are your best friend. Add that to a quad or highly airborne mech and gg wheels. I also have to say how much environmental storytelling this games has. Take the mission where you head out with the Redguns for the first time. The mission never directly states it, but the area used to be a dam to supply power to rubicon 3, but since the Fires of Ibis, the world has undergone serious changes. Cities and civilization werent just destroyed but all the infrastructure and weather has changed as well. Now the dam is all frozen over useless. Rubicon 3 has no power, no food, and no hope. Just blood and Coral.
Excellent video! I was impressed by the way you used the music and scenes in the video, specifically in 44:45 . The chosen soundtrack truly captured the game's atmosphere brilliantly, and the scenes used helped illustrate your points in an engaging manner, it's amazing to know that you produced all the music in the video. Congratulations on your talent for creating high-quality content. I can't wait to see more of your analyses in the future!
Your style for editing is really good … I’m envious of that but, I’m waaaaay more envious of how awesome your music is I wish I had half the talent you do Where did you start, and got any good advice?
First of all sorry for taking so long to answer!!! And honestly thank you so much!! This really means a lot!! I've been making music for around 4 years now and one of the things that helped me the most was probably just going in and making stuff even if I didn't had a clue about what I was doing lol, of course there's an insane amount of good tutorials on RU-vid and reddit and those were also super important, but I think that making something almost every day, even if it was just a small project, really helped with not only getting better but also on forging your own sound and style. This is also what I did with editing I just wanted to make some "cinematic" stuff and I still don't really have an idea of what I'm doing lol But again thank you so much for the kind words!!
It's kinda hard having to balance the project on this channel with my main music stuff that I release on Spotify because both of them take a lot of time and effort to make, but I definitely want to make more videos like this just talking and making something "cinematic" about things that I really like. And if it all works out I'd love to release an album in 2024!!
@@Sav-vid hell yeah dude!!! A lot of your current tracks do fantastic at evoking emotions, Id love to get a full album of your stuff And vice versa, your cinematic style is very cinematic, you put in a lot of work with the AC6 Photo Mode and it shows, excited for your next projects and Ive got a couple of your videos saved for when I have time to relax Thanks for taking some time out of your day to reply, I was in the middle of my work day when I got a notification and it genuinely made me day a decent bit better 😁
This video is astonishingly well made for such a small channel - I can't believe you've got less than 100 subs. I might disagree with one or two of your points but I can really feel your passion coming through for AC6. Immediately subbed.
Dude your musics are insane, you should just upload them individually as they are such banger to listen even without the footage. Great job of a video, it's so professionally put together I can't believe you only have 73 subscribers. I really hope you get big!
Thank you so much!! Really!! This means a lot!!! I've been uploading the songs to SoundCloud but I'm definitely considering putting them on yt as well, I love making them and I'm extremely happy that you've liked it!! Once again, thank you so much!!
Definitely, I spent the entire game just praying that maybe at some point we would get something like "Mechanized Memories" at least once, it would be so cool with how frantic the visuals of this game can be
@Sav-vid no worries. You mentioned cataphract being an underwhelming fight but that one still gives me troubles. Just depends on your playstyle at the end of the day lol.
I was really surprised at the production value of this video, and to see that you wrote all the music yourself! Very impressive. If I could give any advice it would be maybe to speak just slightly slower, sometimes it's a bit tough to keep up. Otherwise everything else was absolutely great and made the time fly by! After finally completing the story yesterday I'm still blown away by how much fun AC6 turned out to be. Glad to see you using the lance and needle launchers, those were both favorites of mine for sure. The earshot is so satisfying too even if it takes a year to reload.
Hey! Thank you so much!! Really!! I've been struggling a lot trying to figure out how fast I should speak, tried something different with my last few videos and was pretty scared to drag on too much so this advice is a really big help!! I appreciate it!! Also I really like big shoulder weapons so I also ended up using the earshot quite a bit lol but especially the needle launcher, it just looks so cool that I was using it nonstop!!
@@Sav-vid Of course! It wasn't too bad where you can't understand anything, I just had to pay attention more than normal but your presentation and how you put everything together WAS really good so i wanted to make sure I was catching everything. Usually longer videos don't have any problem keeping my attention but I know that's different for everyone. I'm really glad they lowered the reload time on the Earshots, feels so much more reasonable now. And I don't feel like I'm missing out if I'm not dual wielding shotguns haha. The charge shot from the linear rifle is now in line with the zimmerman for impact almost I think
I'ma have to sub, the work you put out for this video is commendable and I just beat NG+3 For AC6 It's honestly my game of the year I don't care what the game awards say
Did you write all the music just for this video? It fit so well for your narrative. Also, those wheels and wheely boys in the escort mission? Go back and replay that with twin bazookas and a rifle and the pile bunker. It actually makes that mission fun.
I did write all the songs! Glad it worked out, it was a lot of work but pretty fun haha And when trying to S rank the wheely boys mission, yeah it really can be pretty fun when going with some crazy builds!, I definitely spent way too long trying to get in on a conventional one lol
@@Sav-vid I've been a fan of bazookas since they added the hardest one to use in AC2, it had the smallest lock window but amazing damage so I played most of the game using at least one bazooka so it was a big and welcome surprise for me when they actually work perfect against the wheels. I hope this video takes off for you, welcome to the Nest, Raven.
Haha thank you so much!! And that's super cool, I wanted AC6 to be the first title I play but now I'm super excited to go back and experience every game on the franchise, they all look really good
I needed to hear a video of someone saying their favorite part of the game is the story and characters after the AngryJoe channel pissed me off with their take of "theres no story"
I suffered a lot on the same mission. The trick is that the wheels are super weak to explosive damage, and both their attacks leave them standing in one place for a long time, which makes it easy to land hits with high damage explosive weapons. The other trick is that the wheels will only charge you and get in close if you're relatively stationary. But you don't want to be on the ground to get hit by their charge attack. So pick a reverse joint leg that gives you a quick vertical hop to stay in one place while not getting run over. Or pick a quad joint and just hover around one area with two earshots. Alternatively, just use your regular vertical boost to stay off the ground. You didn't jump high enough to avoid the rolling attack once in those clips fighting the wheels. Just a little more vertical positioning would have saved you a lot of pain. As always, the trick is knowing the right build and playstyle to beat the enemies. I also see that you've picked close range weapons and fast firing weapons, which that fight punishes super hard. You want a longer range FCS with more missiles. Just changing out one back weapon with missiles and staying high is generally enough to beat the fight. All that said, the video was amazing. Excellent music, and a good breakdown of what makes Armored Core great.
I did think about that! But as I already have my other channel where I upload serious music I thought that it might be too much to create a third one, and I don't really want to post it on here and just spam it with a lot of videos lol
Upload frequency is one of my biggest problems, be it with music or these videos, they take so long to make lol But yeah maybe It would help posting the songs on yt, I'll definitely keep that in mind on the next upload, thank you so much!!
The real problem is not that they resist kinetic and energy damage. It's that they deflect them even at extremely close ranges. So frustrating to have every mission beatable with my one main AC except that one. I have explosive damage on it too. You can't turtle them since they outpace you in the ground, swarm you, do insane damage on the ground, and chip and stun lock you in the air. Having no structures to create blind spots just makes to mission a dps race or a weapon check. Have a granade launcher, bazooka, or high dps missile set? Good. No you can't rely on charged shots for lasers or rifles. No you can't shot gun them when the get super close. No meleeing them either. You either bring the boom or go boom yourself.
