tbh i feel like if Gojo and Asta met, they'd be chill with each other, with Asta nerding out about gojo's infinity and six eyes, viewing it as unique magic.

Funny how people don’t realize how many verses have hacks abilities similar if not downright superior to Gojo’s infinity. I love Gojo and his ability but he’s not as powerful as many people make him out to be.

The problem is, Gojo is vulnerable to a very specific kind of pocket reality nonsense. He is only able to be hit by use of a domain's sure-hit effect, meaning that the attack needs to essentially spawn right on his own spatial coordinates (confirmed means by which domain sure-hit works) in order to bypass Infinity. ...also, not just any spatial manipulation is enough to bypass it. People aren't banking on a random crit Black Flash against him, which they would if it was as simple as "just warp space lol". As for the sealing, you need to recall the exact way in which he got sealed. They waited until his cursed technique was exhausted from his use of Unlimited Void, he didn't think of pulling the "RCT to regen your CT" trick fast enough, then he got whacked by a whole flashback sequence from seeing "Geto" that stunned him just long enough for the Prison Realm to proc. It's not that he's just flat-out vulnerable to sealing, they had to jump through hoops to get it. I 100% agree with the power null weakness tho, but that's because power null is a weakness to anybody who's not explicitly immune to power null.

Let's remember in the latest black clover chapters, Asta can use his anti-magic without his sword but simply swing his hand with the zetten technique similar to Escanor's divine axe and divine sword special attacks. Also, even in the anime, Asta has been shown to use his anti-magic as an aura and a mini mana zone to deflect/negate attacks. If Asta can learn to use his anti-magic aura properly for long periods he could theoretically beat and negate almost anything or anyone that has to do with magic or concepts similar to magic such as chakra and genjustus in naruto since the target has to be imbued with the attacker's chakra first. Most attacks dealing with magic or concepts similar to magic will have no effect whatsoever.

You forgot to mention that curse energy is able to corrupt souls and turn them into curse spirits as we saw with Rika just like negative mana turning Licht into a giant demon.

It's funny that most matchups that we can make for Gojo are just people who completely counter him

A big issue with power scalers I've noticed is they always equate strength to speed. Those are completely different things. If a character was considered FTL and then got 80x stronger, that doesn't suddenly mean they're now 80x FTL. A bodybuilder doesn't suddenly become faster just because they got physically stronger. Unless they specifically train their speed, then that is going to more or less stay the same.

It's really dependent on if you think Anti-magic can negate the limitless or not. If it can, then Asta stomps with his massively higher stat scaling

The other thing to consider is that Asta is so much faster than gojo - his brain is used to taking in info from 1000s of times faster than ftl - hitting him with a lot of info all at once is like one light speed jump for him

About the domain expansion thing, I would also like to add another way that asta kinda gets past it, like the fact his reaction speed is mftl+ as well he can react to MUCH more information than 6 moths in 0.2 seconds so his brain would not be fried regardless

I like this man, he's honest and uses facts unlike some other power scalers. He uses the context of the series to scale asta to large planetary. Not no data books or etc. Yo you should do some one piece content, you would get similar scaling in one piece.

I dont use verse equalization. To me it's just a way for people to justify their character having advantages while ignoring the advantages it gives to the other verse. To call it just simpler is a blatant lie used for your own arguments. So for this comment theres no equalization. This means Negative mana and and cursed energy are not the same. Similarities does not matter as long as it's not called magic which cursed energy is not. Infinite void would work and would defeat Asta, the only problem is actually catching Asta in it. Asta has no way to stop it once caught inside. Once inside he can just hollow purple or just let him die out naturally. This means Asta with basic swings and anti magic wouldnt get past infinity as obviously a sword swing or whatever else he has at his disposal cannot traverse infinity. Asta with his dimensional slash though would get through infinity to my knowledge as it can destroy an infinitely sized dimension. AKA Asta can cut infinity in his verse meaning he can cut Gojo as long as he uses said technique. Hollow purple would not work at all in most cases. Asta's too fast and would easily dodge it. If for some reason asta is hit then obviously Asta is gone. So this fight just simply comes down to how long it would take Asta to figure this out and use dimensional slash and also how long would it take for Gojo to pop his domain expansion as these are the only 2 moves that really matter in this fight, everything else just wouldnt work either because Gojo is too weak, asta is too fast or it is stopped by infinity.

Keeping In mind that after using a domain gojo can't use infinity so that was the only way kenjaku's plan worked it was planned for him to pop a domain and then to seal him while limitless was down

I wanna mention that the black hole doesn´t scale to Yuki. She did a kamikaze attack using her ability thus working by setting it would be a vow because it´s sacrificing her killing her. So it´s more of a multiplier. And Kenjaku explicitly survived the black hole because he happens to have an anti gravity technique not because he could tank it. However in terms of Unarmed combat Gojo and Sukuna are stated to be top of the verse by the author only below the final versions of Maki and Toji.

i still think asta wins but some stuff i do disagree with i agree that anti magic can cut through cursed energy like limitless but i don't think it would work on stuff like blue red and purple due to the attacks themselves not being made out of cursed energy they are formed due to gojos techniques causing an error in reality like blue being made because gojo causes a negative distance this doesn't mean they can hit asta due to him just being fast tho lol they might catch him off guard and as we see in gojo vs sukuna he can just spam it also in that fight we see his insane regen with reverse curse but that would be disabled asta so this is a really bad match up for gojo

2:54 I will admit that curse energy and negative mana have similarities but the thing is negative mana is still just mana with negative energy where as curse energy is negative energy as a whole and Asta's anti-magic only affects magic/mana and keep in mind that the curses used in Black Clover are magic base with the only exception being Liebe's anti-magic, so by that logic Asta wouldn't be able to cancel out Gojo's techniques but it doesn't mean that Asta doesn't have a way around them, for example his demon slasher allows Asta to slash his intended target which includes space itself, this means Asta still has a chance at winning.

I think we honestly should wait for the mangas to end to do a scale between them. We have never seen gojo’s true power (not saying he’s stronger than asta) and Asta is still learning new things about himself and his power.

Tbh idk if Anti-Magic can negate Cursed Energy inherently (I get what you've said - and technically you could argue that Curse Spells support the idea further, but the differences between the two power systems as a whole make it a but implausible in my mind) but when you consider that Asta has Causality Break with Demon Destroyer (which could just turn off Gojo's Infinity) and he can bypass Infinity entirely with Demon Slasher as it can choose what it does and doesn't cut (explicitly stated, and we also see Asta using it to avoid collateral in Spade, among other showings) it's honestly not really a fair match-up in my mind. Asta can reasonably be scaled to Small Star Level and a good few million times FTL, but even with your Large Planet and baseline MFTL+ he *massively* outscales Gojo by every metric.

Anti magic working like Toji's heavenly restriction would probably be the best way to look at this, but even if it didn't, anti mana skin is basically the same thing as simple domain or hollow wicker basket, which are both anti domain expansion techniques. Asta having that on passively would already be enough to counter infinite void at least slightly, allowing him to attack and end the fight.

In jjk movie its different as Miguel stated the same but rather use "atomic level" and this is the case as well in his teen years when he explained about his "barrier" and how it works in detail.

Regardless of negative mana and curses being very similar, it's a little more different than you say it is. Curses = spiritual energy. Negative mana = demonic energy. With curses, there are special attributes like Domain Expansions (mana zone is different), special clan techniques, etc. Think of cursed energy as more comparable to chakra, except it runs of negative emotions. In fact, that's exactly what it is. Do you think Asta can waltz into the Naruto verse and negate a Rasengan? Cursed energy is more comparable to Chakra imo. And it's stupidly obvious that JJK is inspired by Naruto, it has very similar base plot points. Though I still agree, the similarities Cursed energy has to magic is really weird. 9:57 if Gojo's Hollow Purple truly is FTL than so is he. This is due to that curse with the weird arm (embarrassingly forgot its/her name) reacting to it last moment that they were able to. So Gojo must have FTL reaction speeds if what your saying is your honest opinion.

i agree with the outcome of this but i still think hollow purple isn't as weak as it turns out to be because he technique brings impossibilities into existence and his normal technique bends spacetime and we have yet to see awakened gojo at 100%. because he should be able to use domain and hollow purple at the same time because he essentially has unlimited ce. or he could use a maximum hollow purple, and since hollow purple is the equivalent of wrapping space time in a ball and launching it it technically is no longer magic once it is launched. which yeah asta could dodge it but i really don't think asta could tank it because a hollow technique is technically a impossibility. because hollow techniques should cancel eachother out which literally means hollow purple doesn't exist and it shouldn't be a visible object because of imaginary mass. the reason he states himself as the strongest is probably because he has a maximum hollow purple which is technically more deadly than a black hole. still though asta would still body gojo but i think hollow purple needs a little bit more credit along with limitless because he brings the impossibilities with infinity into existence. hollow purple scales above a black depending on how big it is and lets be honest the only 2 hollow purples we've seen had people in mind. the fight with toji was soully to kill toji and the one in the anime was so he didn't kill his students. but still asta bodies gojo completely if he can hit through infinity which he can with magic negation.

i feel like when scaling verses with Magic/Ki/Chakra etc, you should try and adapt the power system of the character you're saying "solos" to the verse that they're going to be fighting against for example with asta and gojo(Im not too familiar with either of these anime but heres my... probably not great take) If you put gojo into the black clover universe and said "solo this universe but your curse functions on their power system(magic/mana)" and he got to fighting asta and tried using infinity (he'd probably be up first since he's the mc) anti magic would negate infinity (remember, im not too knowledgable on these two universes, i was just using the basis of the video for my example)

Funnily enough, u don't need Intangibility and other haxs to bypass limitless, gojo stops things based on mass and speed, that means he always have to keep track of things, his ability is active all the time but he is always passively processing those informations which damages his brain, that's why he uses rct to counter that and infinity is always active. U just need to move faster than he can process to bypass infinity. I am pretty sure any light speed character should bypass it.

Personally I think if Gojo had time to throw everything he had at Asta he would win pretty quickly but even early into Black Clover Asta is much much faster than Gojo could handle. If Toji could get the jump on Gojo Asta could do it several times faster and Gojo's reactions arent supernatural, he cant counter an attack he cant sense.

It depends on the domain expansion like we're not sure if that's how gojo domain works. Just that is just the rules for domain expansion barrier like sukuna able to use his power on non curse energy objects

Gojo already fought someone with heavenly restrictions. He wouldn't underestimate Asta's pure physical prowess. Gojo knows for sure that no magic powers equals inhuman physical capabilities.

Great vid man earned a sub. There actually is a difference between a character traveling an infinite distance and a character moving in stopped time due to them moving their body that fast. A character has infinite speed if they are able to cross and infinite distance in a specified amount of time above zero, example if character A runs across the universe in 5 seconds and the universe is infinite in size and distance, character A has infinite speed. But if a character can travel any distance in stopped or frozen time without the usage of any ability and only their raw speed, they have 'inaccessible' speed, example, character B runs from England to Australia or crosses the same universe that character A crossed so fast that time did not move at all when character B was running, then character B has inaccessible speed. Inaccessible speed is a while tier above infinite speed in powerscaling so any character with inaccessible speed would utterly sooed blitz any character with infinite speed. I recommend watching Surfbone's speed tiering video for a more understandable explanation than this, but I just wanted to point something out you said wrong in the video. So basically, Inaccessible speed>Infinite speed>MFTL+ and slower speed tiers.

I like the analisis, but anime powerscalers can't keep using stuff like "faster than light" and not mention that anything with mass at that speed would be impossible. Powerscalers will use real world physics and then say real world phisycs don't apply

17:18 At the time Gojo was attacked here he had to consciously activate infinity, but after this incident he figured out to keep it on all the time. So this wouldn't work. Gojo didn't have his infinity activated during that attack. Then there is the problem of... what does asta cut? An abstract ability like 'as you get closer to me the speed at which you approach me is infinitely halved' seems way too abstract to cut unless it's an actual aura of some kind getting emitted and then it's a question of raw power output so Asta wins. Then there is the fact he can just momentarily shut off Gojos powers and cut him that way. So when the video was made 5 months ago Asta would auto-win on that. The recent Jojutsu kaisen chapters revealed some powerful stuff about Gojo, he can use reverse cursed technique to destroy parts of his brain, regenerate it and reset 'cooldown' on his abilities. So if Asta shut off his magic he could possibly turn it off quickly...it would probably affect the reverse curse technique though... so maybe not. So asta still wins. Then there is the Domain Expanssion... Gojo can't have his infinity actiavted there and a normal human is knocked out in 0.2s so more than enough time for Asta to kill him. Yeah he wins.

An exceptional amount of misconceptions here with a large amount of detail towards Asta but a brazenly low amount of detail towards Gojo, which I understand you pointed out is due to the Yami video but even in the Yami video. . . it's exceptionally low towards the actual defining of his abilities. Starting with Limitless let me get out of the way that I fully 100% agree that Anti - Magic and other magic nullifying properties should affect Limitless even if the systems weren't the same, because in a world where the two are fighting the special nature of their abilities should be uniform i.e if interacting with magical energy is the same as interacting with cursed energy in both verses they should align in a fight. I also agree that Gojo GENERALLY tends to be vastly overhyped in most scenarios, but adversely he is also heavily underwhelmed as well due to the nature of him being overhyped. Starting with Limitless, as I already stated Asta would in fact be able to slice riiiiight through it. The problem is the actual force expended by Limitless is not an application of Limitless itself, it is just the outward expulsion of atmosphere and pressure from a newly generated infinite space. The only part of "magic" in this context coming through it is directly coming off his body. This is why when Gojo was fighting Toji and was being aware of the inverted heavenly spear, he would simply repulse him backwards, as it could not negate what isn't inherently the cursed technique itself. It's simply pure physical force that can be applied infinitely. Next his Six eyes. This is an exceptional understatement of what these eyes can do. The Six Eyes is generally stated to be able to perceive the world at a distinctly accelerated pace, allowing him to process three years worth of information in a single second. That amount of time doesn't directly relate to speed, but we have seen Yuta react to light speed attacks from the cursed spirit Geto summoned so let's get that right out of the park right there. We've also seen Gojo directly review things in a state where time is frozen, the way he views the world is inherently different. The reason this wasn't applicable to Toji isn't just because Toji is faster than light. . . cause he isn't, but because before Gojo "awakened" the way his eyes reviewed things was distributed across everything, he had no focus. That's why when he ascended after Toji fucked his shit in, everything was reviewed much slower, as if it was frozen in time, and he was able to seemlessly avoid Toji's attacks with simple physical movements despite the fact that Toji physically should be much faster. His speed. He does have out right teleportation, teleportation is an irrelevant factor when measuring speed, but it should be brought up anyways. However, as stated during the Hanami and Jogo fight, Gojo's speed can directly be amplified by Blue, which generates an imaginary space for him to fulfill and attracts inwards. This means he is moving at Tachyon speed through simple cursed energy manipulation. There is something that is often misunderstood about Tachyon particle speed relevance to light speed in which the statement generally is as simple as "it simply moves faster than light" but it's not quite so easy to explain. In terms of relative science a Tachyon particle has as much difficulty slowing itself down to light speed as we would speeding a relevant mass to light speed, in further explanation the general relative speed is that of a planck time unit in which light travels a planckth length in time, which is 5.39×10−44 s, basically an irrelevant monitoring of time. This is backed up by the fact that at the time when he and Jugo were fighting, he went to go pick Yuji up, which was in the city vs the outskirts of the fight, and was able to get him, and arrive back, before the process of him leaving ever registered in Jugo's mind. Also the fact that he was able to travel the entire continent in less than a second during 0, and he was able to travel contintental distances in micro seconds during the games arc, as when he was unsealed from the prison he was immediately where he needed to be, twice over, despite being placed in an entirely different part of the ocean and inside of a massive cursed beast that was at the bottom of the ocean floor, which he also survived the pressure of immediately. Physical abilities like striking strength can sometimes become hyperbolic because he is able to apply limitless to his physical capabilities which is also stated by Jugo and Kenjaku during his fight against Hanami and Jugo, where they tried to limit his usage of bodily applications of Limitless based on the fact that if he were to even walk by someone at the speed or power he registers with that applied to his body they'd die. Normal people cannot even exist in his presence when he is amplifying his body this way. Also want to point out that yeah he negged a meteor that Jugo says would have wiped out Japan when facing against Sukuna which is further backed up by the fact Sukuna took the time to neg the technique because he didn't want the games to end just yet and it was dangerous for Megumi despite the fact he was in an entirely different city at that point, and that meteor was created without the domain which amplifies their powers excessively whereas what Gojo negated was within' the domain. It's irrelevant speed, it doesn't inherently matter how fast you are unless you assume Asta can blitz him so fast he can't even process the thought to activate it. But this also removes that possibility as this ability defines his own ability to think about things at an infinite capacity. Because this ability, affects him too. He uses reverse cursed technique to regenerate his brain, but the outload of infinite information would be enough to incapacitate Asta pretty easily. Moreover Asta wouldn't even be able to consider using anti magic to break out, because it isn't just infinite information being downloaded into the brain. it turns out that Asta actually has mana, it was just drained by his mother so domain would probably work on him. I'd say that Asta is a counter to Gojo, but in real fight he would lose for a simple reason: he's an idiot, very strong, but very dumb at the same time. He often needed advice and/or help from others to use his abilities well, while Gojo is used to fighting on his own and outsmarting opponents like he currently does with Sukkuna. While in ideal situation Gojo should lose, he would probably win in reality due to a much higher bIQ

When he gave up his arm in that deal, it became Liebe's and as such was infused with anti-magic. Giving him access to it without his swords in base. A better match with Gojo would be zeldris from taizai. Even then Gojo loses, not to say he’s a slouch, but his lack of physical ability to match his hax. It’s somewhat a paradox, to see how that spatial ability would work, if his opponent is faster than him, the math changes.

For me, gojo weakness relies in being in the jjk verse since there are many ways to bypass his defense, like the spear of heaven. If he was in another universe he has all the card the be amongst the most powerful being, he can't be touched since he control space up to close to infinity, has infinite curse energy so he can regenerate, can teleport, has a domain expansion that can infinitely become strong since it fed you with infinite information and this makes you even unable to move, he literally can create black holes

Sometimes I think writers put in stuff like "space-time" because it sounds cool rather than that actually meaning anything. At the end of the day hollow purple is just a cool strong energy blast.

I just wanna mention that you didn’t talk about everything but idk if that change’s anything either. 1. Gojo has reverse cursed technique which is on always so if asta stabbed gojo he would probably just be able to heal with it. 2. Asta might not blitz gojo because of how much information the six-eyes actually takes in so he might be able to see asta. The six-eyes also could take in the information that asta has a devil in him or he could sense other things within asta as well. 3. Some people debate that gojos domain expansion actually works on maki because it floods the entire domain with infinity itself so who’s to say that a object floating in it (if it was living) wouldn’t be effected but that is just speculation. Domain expansion also negates cursed techniques of the people that are inside them. If we are saying mana is the equivalent to cursed energy then astas abilities would have to be equivalent to a cursed technique but that is probably also up for debate. Domain expansion also provides a guaranteed hit but idk how that would work against anti magic. 4. Another thing I wanted to mention is if red and blue are strong enough to pull asta simply because it’s the literal universe trying to correct itself (or at least that’s what some people describe it as) and idk if astas that powerful but I could be wrong because I haven’t read or watched black clover and I’m not trying to pretend I do so do correct me if I’m wrong and I’ll do my research if I am.

Well let me tell you that cursed energy is another type of mana in the same mythology it says so where they say that there are types of mana and magic, the cursed energy of jujutsu is also known as Yoryoku which is spiritual energy and Asta erases this type of energy so denies gojo The other is that Asta is of Arcane level which has the ability to affect and ignore physical laws and natural laws and since it is a dark degree it has the ability to ignore, affect and destroy abstract concepts and infinity continues to be a concept which in black clover is mentioned and affected

astas anti magic skin is essentially the same as gojos infinity, which gets negated by domain expansions as in a domain your first attack is guaranteed to hit, therefore his domain would freeze asta and leave him open to a hollow purple attack

I disagree on the fact that Asta's anti-magic would pierce through Limitless. This is because hack techniques do not produce an outcome that is made of cursed energy, especially in Gojo's case. We can see that through the anti-domain technique Falling Blossom Emotion, which only works against attacks that are made of cursed energy such as Dagon's shikigami sure-hit attacks and Malevolent Shrine's slashes; this technique doesn't work against hacks like Unlimited Void's sure-hit effect. Which means that Limitless' neutral, Blue, Red and Purpke aren't actually made of cursed energy but are only the outcomes of a cursed technique powered by cursed energy. Still doesn't change the fact that Asta massively outscale him in every way but I had to point that out

Just a slight correction even though it is too late. Asta should have cursed energy. Even the bare human has cursed energy they just don't pass the threshhold to use it and interact with curses. Thats why heavenly restriction is so odd in jjk. Evidence for this is we've seen normal ppl get caught in Gojo's .2 sec domain. Asta should still counter DE.

Also, one thing you forgot to mention with this scaling IF people were to use the black hole. You simply can't since kenjaku literally said during that part that he had to used a cursed techinqiue thanks to yuji's mother to 'tank' most of the actual damage. Essentially, it wasnt feat of 'raw durablity' for power. More so, he negated most of the actual damage. So I wouldn't really scale gojo to that. Since we know how, if it's 'passed light speed'. it can get through gojo's limitless.
