I don’t agree with this. When women say this, they mean that the man should show more effort. The man is the initiator so he should. Doesn’t mean to not love a man back or to not be open. Just don’t do the most for a man that isn’t doing much for you.

A man must chose you to be the one he wants. Otherwise it will not work! I agree with Stephan you shouldn’t be choosing a man that that loves you more but a man that loves you and you are his one and you feel mutual. It’s really a special blessing and must be equal.

I don’t agree with what he is saying. Ladies please don’t accept this advice because it is soooo wrong in so many ways. Naturally as a woman you are nurturing and also naturally you are a giver, if you end up with a man who you love more it will not be well with you. Even their Bible says a man is to love their wife and women is to respect the husband. Respect naturally , when you as a woman is being loved well and protected equals submission. Please ladies don’t be, never ever married a man who you love more.

I went for a man who I thought loved me more. He was sentimental. Showered me with gifts. Told me everything I wanted to hear. Unfortunately, he was a deceptive and manipulative backstabber, when it suited his purposes. I didn't realise how much, until he left after 24 years. Several people came clean about what they knew he'd been saying about me, behind my back. They didn't want to tell me at the time, because we looked happy. Long story short, a man that loves you, will tell you the truth - even when you don't want to hear it. I don't mean insensitively, but he will tell you what he thinks. Which is a sign of respect, esteem and love. Sugar coating everything with flowers, is really the sign of an insecure man.

There is a saying in my culture. Marry a man who likes you than the man you like. This does not mean you marry a man you feel nothing for. Both of these men have passed all your provide protector criteria, look attractive in your eyes but the dealbreaker is who likes you the most. That always keeps the man ahead and in the lead position. It is better for him. Not just for the woman

my dad love my mum more and they have been married for 30 years now even my mum and dad advised me to marry someone that love me more. they explained that the man is the leader and head of the relationship and should put more efforts more than the woman and they have been just fine.

@@HoneyLee13 for some people it doesnt work.. I've tried to grow my feelings to him, as he is consistent coming to me.. But the feeling is not there even after 4 months.. To the point, I dont like seeing his face.. I dont like to be touched by him.. I feel it wont be good to both of us in the long term..

I struggle when in my community, they believe in the man loving you and coming to you and you accept even if you are not attracted to him. It’s wrong and I have been always shamed. It’s all forced. Later ppl end up resenting each other!

Who does that? you don't ever have to accept what you don't want. Reject kindly, because later you may find that that's what you needed. Men usually can spot their wife. Never let someone put you with someone and they tell you what you are with that person.

First of all men can't love more than women. I know a man can't love more than I can. God made us to be nurtures. I know he's not perfect, I'm not perfect. I just want him to love me, be in love with me. I am waiting on God to send WHO he has for me. This way I can operate in my birthday suit!! I will know all those situations will not apply to my relationship. With God as the head it can't do anything but succeed, no failure with the Lord.

God gives us guidance for life in the bible to include relationships, marriage. We as man and woman have different needs. As for me I don't want a man to love me more than I love him. I may not love him enough if that's the case? Equally yoked is as much as I can give, as much as he can give is enough for me, a beautiful thang!!

Your husband should love you as he loves himself, and love you as Christ loved the church to the point of self-sacrifice if the situation calls for it...Meaning your husband should love you more and put you FIRST. This distortion over the years is why so many relationships are failing: women are doing the most, when she's supposed to be virtuous and let her man prove himself worthy, while she submits herself to him.

Yea I agree, a guy who comes on too strong or love me more can be scary. And annoying. Personally, I fall in love quick but I’ve learned to think logically, and not rush expressing that to a man too early. I also allow him time to fall in love with me. Getting to know a person takes time. I’ve learned to never give Away my power emotionally or physically before commitment or being properly vetted. I feel like being with a guy you’re not that into can lead to security but it can also lead to cheating later on in the relationship especially if you don’t find him very attractive 😩 Ladies you can have what you want. You Just have to know how to play the game. And it is a game, whether you choose to play or not.

I started dating a guy in January of this year and i also gave my all. Every holiday he spent with his 9 year old son and the mother of his son which i was understanding in the beginning. Past Labor day i reached out to him wanting to spend time with him. It was 11:30 pm and i asked why are you still there at her house. He told me if i have a problem with him being at his son house we are friends going forward and he walked away.

But it’s kinda true when u really think about it. A lot of women will at times indirectly force a relationship with a man who isn’t in love with them. As a woman we know when a relationship is based on heighten desires verses love and respect. The foundation of the relationship is very critical and if that man is not emotionally available and his reasons is because he does not feel a deeper connection and the woman keeps overlooking on the red flags, it will not last.

WOMEN THRIVE AND ARE MORE CONTENT IN ENVIRONMENTS WHERE THEY ARE LOVED RESPECTED AND PROVIDED FOR AND WHERE THEY AREN'T HEARTBROKEN LIKE IN SITUATIONS WHERE WOMAN LOVES THE MAN MORE. YES IT MAY BE ROOTED IN FEAR AND NEED TO PROTECT ONESELF BUT IT IS A MUCH BETTER CHOICE THAN UNREQUITED LOVE AND WASTED TIME ON SOMEONE WHO YOU MAY BE DISPOSABLE TO.

The logic in that statement is flawed. First off how do you measure who loves who more? Secondly I feel like if someone is “loving” the other person “more” then they are bound to be taken advantage of 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Lust override flaws. So a person can end up with a wrong person. Friend zone them ,but know how to move out of the zone, But not friends with benefits. I feel the man should always show interest in the woman first ( although some men are shy / reluctant to approach a woman). Him being interested in you don't make him a good catch, sharpen your discernment he could just want to play. That's ONE reason not to test the waters. If your not sure, see if you can miss them awhile and see what he ( or she for men)got up there sleeves( might be a rabbit).
