I have had an XE Sport Diesel (with the Tech Pack) since 2017 and after 67000km I still love it. it is the best long distance tourer (VERY important in Australia) - with the added bonus of over 1100km range (in Sport mode)...
I disagree with the diesel noise, I took one on a 2K mile road trip and had no issues with noise or anything else, but it’s not a Mercedes, Porsche, Lexus or any other high end car but it’s damn good and gets superb fuel mileage if your drive it gently.
.....reviewing a 2 litre diesel using a v6 petrol as his point of reference and complaining? Should we not be comparing this car to other 2 litre diesels in which it would possibly be a good choice of car?
Just purchased a 20d yesterday and during the entire sales process I was thinking about this review. Thank you very much for the way you deliver information, I must have watched 40 other videos as well but this one stands out.
I drive 90 miles round trip 5 times a week for work, on those I'm averaging around 46mpg (my math not the estimator which is 2-3 higher) but on weekends when I stay in the city I'm around 35. Combined lands around 41, usually. Hope this helps.
I just got back from a 2000 mile trip in my 20d and my average was over 43 mpg, which was significantly better than the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that it replaced. Amazing mileage, considering I drove it hard and fast for most of those miles. Couldn't be happier with the fuel economy.
@@Pcpower22 hello! I have not had a single issue to date. Still VERY happy with this vehicle. If there was one complaint to find, the app is not very good, but it has made progress over the last year.
My 2016 (now 65,000 mile) 2.0d AWD R-sport in Odyssey Red with its grey alloys and dark tinted windows, still puts a smile on my face, each time I jump in and press the start button. I love the sure-footed confident handling, easily achievable 45 mpg, and the great view out over that beautifully sculpted bonnet!
The spec on this model never shew how sexy the car can be in r sport trim, here in the U.K., you get better alloys and it looks better without the yellow reflects in the headlights!
In the U.K. the jaguar xe r sport looks way more better than the example in your video and does more mpg than you said and has more querks to it but I don’t know if there is a difference as I’m from the U.K. because I got one as a company car and they gave it for high mpg and running cost but great video!
Could you share the dimensions of those 2 suitcases that were used to demonstrate trunk space? I'm trying to get an idea of the usable trunk space before possibly buying an XE S and this is about the only review where I see someone actually using real life stuff to demonstrate!
Looked at it. Very sexy. Interior quality is a mixed bag. I'm an interior designer and the details matter to me. Audi does a better job. Jaguar take note. I'd consider a better quality version.
