Enjoyed this video, as someone that already has a live 2 a Keys 61 and a X ive been looking at the force vut wasn't sure if its still good buy with the push 3 being released. Edit, what sample did you use bruh
Im happy with it man, Ive installed a hard drive got the plugins on it, old MPC projects and it works with ableton, The disk streaming makes the 2gb more than enough. The sample I dug it out at tracklib!
Tracking says my Force will come in two days. Its not a old machine really to me. I have a few of the newer MPC's. Its fresh with all the software updates and additions since it dropped in 2019. The software OS is much of the same with more options, besides the mpc daw. I ordered the day the push 3 was announced lol. Push dont give me what I want. Not one to get something just because its new. It makes no sense if it doesn't work right for you.
I was kind of in the same boat, long term Ableton user... been mulling over the Push 2, but I dont want to be hooked to the computer unless we are finalizing projects. Once I seen the push 3, seen the price, seen that I still needed to be hooked to the CPU. Only thing I needed to see is could it load MPC Projects and they just added it. I only say old, because when I researched most of the content stopped 2years to 9 months ago except a couple channels!
Nice OTG I use the Force as my main hub device. A lot of devices take a few years to become great via user feedback and software updates and the Force is such a device.
I been researching it for so long, and came across a video that said i could add my MPC projects to it, and I really looked into its integration with Ableton, and it seems like the best buy for me. Hasn't been 24 hours and im pretty happy, It was a pretty seemless crossover.
I have one under my bed … it makes even the simplest task difficult worst work flow I’ve used .. just sucks the fun out of making music -wasted a lot of money and even more time and the company Akai is just awful… every update breaks something new
Sorry you had that experience, mine works great, It’s the brain of my DAWless setup still. I have 2 MPC ones, and MPC Live 2, SP-404 a bunch of stuff. You might not be used to clip based recording so it seems obtuse. I prefer clip based recording even though I can do pad based or cpu based. One persons trash is another’s treasure.
