My internet is fine but my Xbox won't do shit

My Xbox One is the only piece of equipment in my house that can’t connect to the internet. I’ve triple checked - wired setup and internet connection are both perfect, but still says it can’t connect. I’ve tried calling Spectrum and chatting with Microsoft, but neither company has been able to help me. Very frustrating. I pay top dollar for equipment and monthly services that NEVER works. It’d be nice if someone could at least tell us why this is happening to so many people.

I can't sign in it says I'm not connected buy my phone and laptop are good

I hate that every time I go on Xbox it always says connect to Xbox live when I'm already connect to Xbox live

This is what I did I just turned my console off at the plug for 10 minutes and that worked for me I hope that helps some of you aswell 😀

My Xbox doesn't seem to want to work, every time I press any of the test buttons or the set up wireless connections buttons all it does is just constantly load. Never finishing no matter how long I wait for it.

Help me i just downloaded backwards conpatable bo2 and every time i go in the game it says disconnected from xbox live and than it says your not fully signed into your accoun

Guys if you are using you phones network, just delete all your phones information and start the phone from the scratch. then connect it without changing the password or anything. worked for me

Good quick summary. i had moved from one location to another and completely forgot I had the IP set to manual. I did everything and was going nuts.. set that to auto and back in action in seconds

Mine says it has all services available and still won't work the online games keep offering Xbox live gold when I already have it

It told me that I needed additional authentication. What you do is you edit your MAC address by one digit at the end and it restarts your xb1, then your good to go

during test of network settings the icon just circles around and does not connect to anything to say anything back after restarting everything in all different ways suggested. Internet is working for everything else and says it is online and connected to console?

Is this Xbox service issue affecting only a certain amount of people? Because when my Xbox was working my friends never mentioned any trouble which concerned me

Just restart ur Xbox box by holding the logo on the Xbox until it shuts off then turn it on it should show a green screen with the Xbox logo after a min it should bring u to ur home screen and there it will show ur connected if u had questions just reply to this comment

No forums work to fix this issue, I can't message friends and when I do it says an error occurred and it tells me to go to xbox support to fix it. And check to see if your account isn't restricted from sending messages. I done all of this but it still won't work :(

If see this problem if u have this in 2020 we’re u launch games and they say not Not connected to Xbox live when you want your games and all you have to do is hold the center consul button and restart it or hold the power button for 10 seconds and once it turns off just turn it back on after 30 seconds and you should be good

Trying to log in on Xbox One but it keeps saying, "Something went wrong. Check your account status." But, we did that and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the account or the status of the account. None of this is working.

I have a Hard wired connection ( Ethernet) but when I go to my current network statistics is shows that I’m wired but then a few moments later it then knocks me off line and then signs me out of my account but then it connects again saying I’m wired, IPv4, NAT Type Open and all services available but then boots me back off after a minute or so. Any suggestions to why this happens?

Hi! I know this is for the Xbox one, but when trying to play Gears of war 4 on my windows 10 pc, I get an error stating "Failed to create game A connection to Xbox live could not be established. Please check your connection and try again." I'm logged into my same gamertag as on my Xbox One S, I tested the network- it's good and Xbox live services are up and running. So my Xbox 360 connects just fine to my IP address but for some reason my Xbox one says that it can’t find my IP address. I was just online about 4 days ago. Turned my Xbox off, plugged my Xbox 360 in to get a game out of it, then turned it off and plugged my Xbox one back in but didn’t turn it on. I don't know if this works for you guys but I went to advanced setting and turned ip and dns setting to automatic. then I went to set up wireless network and found my Wi-Fi there. then I just had to type in my password for my Wi-Fi and I connected to network 😊
