Restore Default setting did the trick. I was trying to use ethernet cable and my wifi password was saved. Restored and all good. Thanks brother!

I recently bought an Xbox 360 and got it flashed. I connected my Xbox to a modem to get access to Xbox Live. I got a message saying that I needed to update my Xbox before connecting to Live. I started the update and just about halfway, the TV screen turned black as if the Xbox has powered off, but the controller was still connected to the Xbox showing that the Xbox was still on. I switched the Xbox off thinking that the update was complete. I switched it on again but it didn't boot. I tried again and again but to no prevail. What did I do wrong? Was it because of the flash or was it because I turned my console off?

My xbox360 white phat console is connected to wired connection and its just done an update which its not been plugged in for over 4 to 5 years but when I try to log in with my Microsoft Live details its not accepting my password so if I click cant access my account it tries to open the webpage but states Web page not connected even though the xbox is online? We tried this but it’s still not working,I can connect to Xbox live from my Xbox one just fine but I can’t on my Xbox 360.I tried to backwards compatible the games but after it was done downloading when I would try to play it it would say I need to be connected to Xbox live even though I’m signed in.

Don't work. I get an IP address and subnet mask but no gateway. I was using it when it said I was disconnected from live so I went to reconnect and it won't connect to anything not even my network. I've reset the settings and still nothing. So does that mean the nic inside my 360 is bad?

On the other hand, I connected my Ethernet cable to internet modem and to xbox 360 (my tv and xbox are connected to same modem) and tried the connection test but it failed.
