Unilateral obstruction of the nose which means a person is not able to breath from one side of the nose is rather very common problem.One reason for this is simple deviation of the septum.In children it can be due to foreign bodies in the nose.They usually presents in the one side of the nose.In adults tissue growth in the nose or polyps can cause this.Congenital obstruction can also cause this but its rare.Enlarge adenoids and tumors can also cause this.Treatment can be done after detecting the cause.
