Well, tbf The Ginyu Force is Frieza's elite squad, and despite their antics, Frieza does find them rather useful. So, he treats them fairly.

It's a whole new living organism. 17 and 18 are humans modified with technology, they are cyborg androids. First 10 androids, for example 8, were if I remember correctly fully robots, no human, no bio technology, just robot, so robot androids. So: Cell, Cell Jr.s, Cell Max - bio androids 17, 18 and Gero - cyborg androids 16, 8 and that fat sidekick of Gero whose number I don't remember and I am too lazy to google - robot androids It was confirmed in some special illustration, don't remember wheter it was at the end on some Android/Cell Saga volume/chapter, or it was made at the end of volume/chapter in DBS manga adaptation of Superhero saga, but it was official thing explaining what which android was.

​@@josephconover5270I mean, surely, he still killed the guy who found the village only to kill the _only_ potential witness as to the whereabouts of the missing Dragon Ball. That's a _major_ !@#$-up that could have potentially ruined Frieza's whole operation. And im pretty sure it's all but said Zarbon is on his last chance after Vegeta escapes with the Dragon Balls. I do feel like Frieza killing that one guy for basically no reason but an example in the anime was a bit much, but other than that, it always felt like they did something to actually earn his ire _first_, and that those who followed orders were safe and honestly, probably lived rather comfy lives between missions.

1st- that was a suggestion not an order 2nd- slaughter of minions is anime only. In reality frieza isn’t that cruel to his soldiers, except the saiyans obviously

People hate the story mode because of the gameplay part of it being incredibly mind numbing and repetitive.
