Mike Elias stated he was going to rebuild the Orioles to be good for like 10+ years, not just a few. He is smart enough to not just dump all the O's prospects this year for pitching to go all in - especially not on rental players. Guys like Jackson and Coby are obvious starters for the future Orioles team (if not this year, then next season).
Agreed. I could see guys like Norby and Beavers getting moved for pitching help, but those top 4 prospects likely aren’t going anyways unless they can get a guy like Skubal.
I think if you could get a young picture on par with the young offensive player, they might pull the trigger. Especially with all the trouble they've had keeping pictures healthy.
He should be on the big club. Westburg is better than Urias, that roster spot should be Mayo's. Days when they only score 2-3 runs he could be the difference

We got 3 guys. It's gonna be in the Hall of fame, if we keep the same in field westburg, Thursday, westburg third gunner Henderson at shortstop and stick Kobe Mayo at second base. We got 3 infielders there. That would probably be with us. For the next 15 years once we get our fingers out of our a** And pay them.
Mayo has played zero innings at second base in his career. ZERO. He isn't even a good defensive third baseman and you think he could play second? That's just delusional. Also...his name is Coby.
Maybe the strategy is to let Santander ,O’Hearn , Mateo, Urias go at the end of the year and try to sign Burns . Maybe that is why they want to keep Mayo and Norby

They will use Stowers and Kjerstad. The new owner hasn’t even named a President and CEO yet. There is a rumor in the Baltimore Business community that he hasn’t taken full control yet

I can see why teams are hesitant to sign him but anyone who's been watching his content knows he's the real deal. Especially what he's been doing lately.

I even think she owes him money or something like that. he would literally be a top 5 starter in the league. probably the best starter we've ever had and no team in the race, needs him more than we do. get them for cheap. if it doesn't work out then get rid of him but it won't hurt to try . the dudes a Ace. not to mention all the knowledge he could bring to our pitching staff. if we stick with what we got, we're not going to the world series I can promise you that. our hitting isn't going to save us in those late months. we need to get him before someone else does
@@RavenNationIII yep, totally agree man. I like really like Bauer. If I were in charge he would've been with the birds during spring training. MLB teams are really overreacting to how polarizing or distracting he'd actually be.

The Media said Ben McDonald was the next Roger Clemens, Matt Weiters was the next Joe Mauer, and Jeffrey Hammonds was the next Barry Bonds. Coby Mayo has the physical tools and was better than Jackson Holliday at every level HS, Travel Ball , minor leagues. Jackson Holliday is a “neat” story but Coby Mayo is better
They better win it all now. They will not be able to resign half these guys. Get some pitchers in here. They will only have 1 solid pitcher next year if not.
Now? Huh? Mayo hasn't even come up yet. Meaning he will be on the team for SIX SEASONS. Cowser FIVE more seasons. Kjerstad same. Westburg FOUR more seasons after this. Same for Grayson. Same for Gunnar. THREE more for Adley after this. And that's not even mentioning Holliday! Obviously a few could get moved. But a few will probably be resigned. They are going to be good for a good while! I agree though they need to add another very good starter and one very good high leverage reliever. However, when you have this much organizational talent, you don't have to chose between now and the future. You can really have the best of both worlds.
I don’t think you realize how rich the new ownership group is. They’re worth over $100 billion. They can resign everybody and then some if they want to.
@@brandondillman5841 I know exactly what it means. They can be the richest ownership group in the history of sports, but that means nothing unless they start spending money. Maybe they will sign them all, maybe they won't. So yea I stand by what I said.
