I have a pool heat pump inside, it pulls hot air from the fireplace room and sends it to the radiators, its hooked up to the central heating system insted of a pool....😂This way i can move the heat from the basement where the wood burner is to the rest of the house...
In this scenario then It makes sense as you are transferring heat to where it is needed. That’s interesting what type of water temperature do you get out of that setup? I have worked on a heat pump pool heater that is strictly used as a chiller for a therapy pool and that to is inside. Much cleaner of an environment then the warehouse in the video.
@@travismichael502ool heat pumps are not designed, most of them anyway, to go above 40 celsius but thats totally enough for my needs...As for the heat pump its one of those all in one units that are designed to heat oudoor pools - it costs a fraction of what a "real" water circuit heat pump would...Its a smaller unit ( alot more powerful models exist tho) that pulls 625w and outputs 3,25kw to the water, its great help for my pellet burner which now used alot less wood pellets and i can run it at lowest setting despite beeing freezing outside. I heat that small room where the pool heat pump is placed with wood or air to air split heat pump when i dont feel like burning logs. All other time the pool heat pump works in tandem with the pellet burner to heat the water radiators thru the whole house. I guess its not very power efficent but its still profitable considering how expensive wood pellets have become here in eu. AND my basement is bone dry from moisture as a nice bonus....
