Teddy atlas said Tyson was a shooting star- not a planet. I feel the same way about mcgregor. Ali was a planet- Joe Louis and Marciano- both sugars- Holyfield- hagler- these guys were defenders- despite the fame and money that came with their success they stayed hungry and humble Mcgregor and Tyson were incredible, just not in the same elite category

Real Conor fans know he's done but we love him from what he did. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize he isn't who he used to be in the octagon... Also doesn't change the amazing moments he gave us in his prime.

It's not about his fans. It's about the fact that he wasted a huge part of his potential in his prime years when we could have seen a real Legacy fighter, someone who potentially goes into the P4P conversation instead of just the spectacle fighter he is now.
