It seems a lot of people might be missing the point of this video, a lot of the shit I said in this video was to go after Hoyo for not treating their players with the respect they deserve, Genshin impact is one of, or if not, the highest grossing Gacha game either right now or of all time. Since they have a big grossing game don’t you think that 3 intertwine fates is way too little for 3 years of dedication? I legit said in the beginning that if you are going to be offended by the video that speaks a lot of true shit, that’s very obvious and visible without having to look at other RU-vid videos or online articles, then who’s fault exactly is it? If you are offended that’s on you for not clicking off. If you are unsatisfied and disagree with my opinion that’s different, and I fully encourage you to tell me what it is you don’t agree with, but saying shit like “it didn’t fall off its highly grossing” or “how can a Game making more than HSR be falling off?” Shows that you completely missed the point of the video 😂.

@mehmeth9773 It's not just an open world it's also partly a gacha with things that boost characters the PROBLEM is that you don't have anything to fight with your characters AFTER finishing everything
Have not even watch know what to expect just pray that competition on rise so pick up development for more devoted player or be converted to new better gacha games

There is indeed a problem, as you stated, the devs haven't been properly treating their own playerbase for Genshin, something the HSR team has proven is possible for them to do. I agree with this. However, your video doesn't actually eloborate on this. The only complaints I hear are your personnal issues, there's plenty to do in this game, I saw your account. It's just that it's not the type of game for you, you are clearly motivated by challenging content, at least this is what I assume when you say: "There's nothing that motivates me to build my characters." And that's a valid point and an issue on it's own, however that doesn't prove your claim that there's nothing to do in this game. That just means the content that you specifically want is lacking. Genshin has a lot of glaring issue's and most people are NOT denying that HSR treats its players better. So when you want to make a video on this, don't just start summing up random problems that aren't universal to the player base and that are not at the root of this. After watching this video, I can only conclude that 1. Genshin is just not your type of game. 2. You only made this video because you heard about issues from others, than proceeded to not actually properly research where the problem lies. On top of that a very click-baity and incorrect thumbanil/titel, just to get some clout. Next time put some more effort in man. I think you could do it.
Thats actually a super good point, when i make something like this in the future i will do my hardest to get better background info/research the topic a lot more, because you're right, this is the biggest video of this type i've made so it wouldn't hurt to put more effort in. no you're not understanding WHY they say genshin's bad... they have CONSTELLATIONS that make your character powerful and characters with actually fun kits and weapons basically stuff that boost your characters, sounds like great things for games right? you make your fav characters super strong to beat the harde- wait i forgot THERE'S NO ENDGAME CONTENT to use those things on making them redundant
falling off doesn't mean losing revenue, it means losing popularity. Have you seen genshin losing followers? boycotting anyone that sponsor them? they're losing profit thru sponsors that way. the numbers are still like that specifically cuz of whales

Genshin is probably the only game earning millions of dollars and somehow is still falling off according to bitter people that didn't get their 5 star character selector.

It'll lose the F2P and casual players which are the majority of active players, resulting in it falling off the recommended page on the playstore appstore appgallery app market etc. meaning less downloads meaning less whales to replace the ones that quit meaning less revenue

As a player since open beta for both genshin and hsr, I would say genshin is only falling of to a certain player base, overall they are still growing in numbers and steadily generating huge amount of money. big corp will only change if the issue is hitting their wallet hard, currently this is not happening no matter how loud certain voices are from a small group of people. If I were the devs, with the current revenue statistics, I wouldn't risk fixing things thats not broken to the majority of player base, even if that would indeed alienate a small group of people, usually the most hardcore type that has the loudest voice in the community (I am part of this group, but I have also managed companies before so I kinda understand where hoyoverse is coming from). Remeber devs are just normal people working at a job too, they will not risk losing their job pleasing the voice of a small crowd and end up fucking the revenue and then risk getting fired or paycut. Unless sales statistics say otherwise, not even the CN community can make them truly change, I'm bilingual and chinese is my first language, I can tell you there's tons more complains at the CN side and their voices are ignored just like EN players 99% of the time lol. I'll end my rant with this. There's a famous quote in the CN community : "爱玩玩，不玩滚 "( f*ck of if you don;t like our game) This is a quote in a forum post that is pinned to the top by one of the founder of mihoyo, cai hao yu.

Yeah I kinda understand where you are coming from, I have seriously considered quitting after fontane started to feel boring again around 4.2, but I have spent couple thousands in the game so I'm still coping and hoping things will get better soon. Not having high hopes due to that quote that Mr cai pinned tho. Let's hope the success of hsr will pressure and influence genshin to improve and dare to risk making bigger changes.
Hauahauauha dont be a sad hater, the game is still the best gacha right now, and it's the first in any metric you can think of. I know it's nice to make a click bait and farm views, but this is so sad..
things i like about genshin, great story, especially sumeru and fontaine, characters that actully have substance and personalities, character stories/hangouts, open world game play, fun events(lantern rite, windbloom, summer event) great soundtracks, smooth combat system, finding hidden/secret tresure chests, the little time/collection/battle trials, the overworld puzzels in each region. things i dislike billets being so freking rare, no savable loadouts for artifacts, artifact domain rng, domain bosses only being collectable once a week (being able to collect a 2nd time mid week, even if theres a small premo cost would be nice), resin cap being 160 with no overrun (a system like HSR would be great), the pitifull amouts of fragile resin in the battle pass for F2P, only being able to get fragile resin from battle pss. i love open world, hack and slash types of games, that have a beautiful world to explore, nice combat and characters that feel unique. genshin provides this, i find i easily get bored with star rail cause of the turn based game play and completely linier levels, though i love the characters, world and story it just doesnt hold my attemtion for more then a few hours.
Very nice take, I personally would enjoy Genshin a lot more if the game treated everyone equally and actually had something for me to go for that’s not (personally) extremely boring to grind in the process. Edit: the resin system is actually butt tho 💀
I love how genshin fans main argument is "the game is making money", as if money or popularity are indicative of the QUALITY of the game. Diablo IV makes a shitton of money as well, every CoD sells well every year, yet they get their fair share of criticism because they are, in fact, bad. Something being popular/making money =/= something being actually good. My question is: Genshin making money means people are spending on crystals, which can be used to pull characters, weapons and refresh resin. All of these are combat related things, yet there is no combat to be had. The Abyss is dogshit and the devs said clearly some time ago that they don't want to introduce more combat related endgame (and then again, the only endgame in Genshin is the tcg and... the teapot?), one really wonders why the trouble of spending so much on a game that can pretty much be cleared with the free 4* they give you and objectively no good place where to use your built characters
genshin revenue in feb 2024 (mobile all region) was $89.800.000, and top 1. idk what "falling off" do you mean?😮 even, in january 2024, which was latern rite patch that they talking shit about, they did $99.300.000😂
Brother just quit. I left the game during Inazuma because of burn-out and then came back for Fontaine and I'm enjoying it. Just quit whenever the game gets boring and come back when it has more content. Idk why more people don't do this

@@agr_aldt Wow I was gonna give you the benefit of the doubt for this video but MAN this here is the greatest offense yet /lh But seriously though, I guess I can understand that HSR has better music for a yt background specifically, however overall, I'd argue Genshin has a way better music catalogue. Like, HSR has good music, but nothing that's never been done before, it isn't very innovative. The melodies of the overworld are also a bit hit or miss, some are amazing, but some are just pure ambient background music. There's also a lack of very distinct leitmotifs for me personally, they are there, it's just that they're not very memorable, a good motif should be instantly recognizable. My biggest complaint however is the overworld battle music, they are very short and don't have a lot of variation. What I mean with that is that during the piece, the pacing and melody stay somewhat stagnant. There's some better ones of course. Boss themes are of course amazing as usual, better than a lot of other games. They're also incomparable to Genshin's boss tracks. Genshin is extremely innovative in their music, not to say that HSR can't be creative, it's just that Genshin is just THAT innovative. The composers are masters at mixing together different cultural music, different styles and different instruments with one song. Like the Shouki no Kami boss theme is a *Classical-Western/traditional-Japanese + EDM-opera-trap* with vocals in Latin and archaic Japanese. And on top of that it goes insanely hard. Or the latest Narwhal boss theme, an orchestral piece with a insane choir kicking in, followed by an experimental EDM/dubstep piece with choir and whale sounds incorporated. And of course the lyrics in Latin feel like they're foreshadowing something.
To summarize, you just should go and play ZZZ. Genshin is exploration game, and it's not for you. You like to click-click strategy and not walking around just for the sake of walking around in game.
