And possibly carried on the traditions of their family and had kids of their own by the time they sought revenge. It would be a never-ending cycle. It's an act of mercy because the babies will go to Heaven. But if they grew up and sought revenge and died, they would not go to Heaven. God knows something that we don't know. We also see God sending Jonah to preach in Ninevah. And Ninevah repented and turned to God. God knew Ninevah would repent. This proves that God only poured out judgment on people he knew wouldn't repent. It's also about reaping what you sow.

Jesus is the bright and morning star. The devil always tries to usurp titles that God holds. The resurrection is the pudding proof as it were to show Jesus is God the Son. God the Father would not authenticate Satan ever

Also in the context context context as the one above put it, when is revelation? The end of History! Revelation explicitly states that the sun will be no more and that the light will come from God Himself so the sun isn't needed and Jesus claim is still true in context even if I'm wrong about Him being the light of the world now.

See Isaiah 7.3, where Isaiah comes out of winter, not as a man (barren earth), but as a woman (nurture). This is the same point where Jesus comes out of winter, wearing the golden girdle of Aphrodite. His male part is Scorpio (genitals) thru Pisces (feet) and his female part is Aries thru Libra (the sacred seven) and Temple of God, built in seven months (not years). The six days (Aries thru Virgo) in Genesis one, is tweaked by taking the first night (Libra) and adding it to the six "days" to get the arc of seven constellations representing summer (sun above equinoctial line aka light over darkness/female/good) and leaving five signs (Scorpio thru Pisces) representing winter (sun below equinoctial line aka darkness over light/male/evil as in Rev 9. Lucifer is the most beautiful angel that God once created and who was referred to as the morning star but after he corrupts himself, he was now called satan/the devil. God resorts to violence because it's the only way hard-headed and willfully stubborn ppl will ever learn that doing things their own way will only cause more problems for themselves. Indeed, if your God has the power to magically poof people out of existence in a blink of an eye to "change their location", why bother making people slaughter each other like savages? @Benjamin Gage, there aren't any easy answers. Someone would have to take care of all these children. What would they do when they grew up? Would they understand that their parents were wicked and move on? Would they rise up against Israel like the Amalekites did (they attacked Israel first) and continuously fight against Israel until they died out like Haman and his sons? Would they join Israel's enemies, too? We are God's creation and it's His choice on how He deals with us. Life is His alone to give and take. One: out of context. Two: God’s sovereign work and Holy Spirit gave us the Bible HE made sure, throughout history for us to have today. Your lie makes it appear he doesn’t have that ability. That lie makes him out to be liar. Go reread the Bible or don’t comment on something you’re obviously ignorant about and that ignorance leads to lies, that lead to an arrogance that makes you look…bad. Nice try.

Instead of admitting that because of all the revisions it is very likely that men who desired power added to God's words in order to legitimize their rule and justify their oppression. A verse which clearly shows that wicked men added verses to the Bible is Deuteronomy 22:28-29 which says if a man meets a virgin not pledged to be married and RAPES HER his fine is to pay her father fifty shekels and his punishment is that he must marry her. Instead of getting the noose for rape he gets to marry his victim. Does that not sound like a wicked loser's plan to guarantee for himself marriage to a girl that would never agree to marry him? First of all it equates rape to fifty shekels and worse forces the victim to be married to her attacker for the rest of her life. Does that sound like the words of God or the scheming of a tyrant?
