Stavros969 thanks pal. i picked her up today. quick question for you. where abouts is the bite point on clutch pedal on you're one? i am curious because mine is right at the top. but its no slipping. also could you tell me the name of you're insurance company you are with for 500 ? i am mid thirties but seem to be getting quotes of around 800 to 1200 for fully comp. 14 years ncb. although i think max is 5 years taken into account. thanks
Love the delivery of this review, nice one, fella. Gobsmacked at the price you guys pay for insurance, it’s a real shame. I’ve just payed about 140 Euro for a 2 litre vtec Honda for the year, super cheap in the UK. Looking to get a 2017 1.6dtec version of yours, I’ve heard nothing but great things about it., including the free tax and 78mpg! Thanks for this, I think I’ll pull the trigger!
Just like it had FK2, and yet it's the code for 9th generation civic Type-R variant. When in doubt check the VIN codes. 2.2 Diesels are coded FK3 in both 8 and 9 gen
I've watched a couple of your videos now and have to say your reviews are excellent. Down to Earth with no fluff or need to avoid offending a car manufacturer. Not sure I want this Civic though. This and the MK10 which followed seem to be part of Honda's quest to remove those bits that made the MK8 so attractive. I'd admit the MK10 looks better especially with that 1.5L turbo engine but the loss of the 'magic' seats is a bit of a major downer and I now find myself torn between it and a Kia ProCee'd. Come on Honda, up your game!
What I'll say might hurt. I got the 2016 1.6 i-dtec civic, a great car indeed, coming from a 07, 2.0 BMW 1 series. In the UK, that Civic has zero road tax, and the insurance (full comp) is around £300 here in Norfolk for 15000 as declared mileage a year.
Do these have diesel particulate filters? Such a practical car, very clever packaging with them rear seats because of the fuel tank positioning. Enjoy it! :)
Ep3 type rs are one of the best should have got one of them i ride motorbikes ive had 2 hondas never looked back the engines do so much millage and i can do long journeys theyre bikes are extremely reliable so will be buying honda cars
