danny jones voice is like a piece of hidden treasure once you find it youre very lucky. the happiness in your face made me smile.

First time hearing them. I'm definitely a fan of this.

I started listening to McFly as a kid after falling in love with Danny's voice and now, as an adult, I'm still in love with his voice 🙂

McFly are great, the way they naturally adapt and change with the times and music styles is just impeccable.

shame this got so less views. I wish you would do more McFly analysis'. I discovered them during covid, just browsing the internet. They deserve so much more recognition. Song writing, vocal skills, harmonies, with both Tom and Danny equally capable of taking the lead vocals, as a band they absolutely stand out IMO. Love from Germany.

You're in for a real treat with the discography of McFly. It's a colourful bunch of songs with some 90s punk rock, 2010s synth pop, 60s Beatlemania and surf pop, theatrical pieces, and also some raw rock, which I believe is their core. But they have so many different colours to their music that we can't put genre labels on it all. It's just pieces of love, happiness, sadness, heartbreak, and pure joy. They have shaped me as both a musician and a person.

Please catch up with McFly! I'm a 40 year old guy who has spent the last 20 years trying to convince people who see them as a little teen boy band that they're incredibly talented musicians 😂

I don't often really like a band on first listen. But I seemed to unconsciously make an exception for these guys, this song. Instant fan.

They're really good at writing dynamic music and developing songs that are multidimensional. All four are excellent musicians who love to create and perform - even some of their more standard pop songs from earlier on have complexity if you're listening for it. Would love for you to do songs with Tom and Dougie taking lead vocals to hear your thoughts. I can't think of any specific performances off the top of my head, but I like their concerts & live studio recordings a lot to really hear their voices and what they all can do.

I was OBSESSED with McFly in high school and recently rediscovered them, and Power to Play is officially my favorite McFly album. It's been so much fun to listen to each of the guys progress as musicians and as songwriters, and Danny in particular has only gotten better with time.

I liked this song nearly immediately. I hear the 60’, 70’s and 80’s in this song. Great melody, voice, and overall tempo. It’s not a sad song, nor a happy song. I feel it has a universal appeal to it, with a theme that most of us can relate to. Thx Bethany.

So happy McFly is being rediscovered. I would suggest that when you do go through their catalog, when you et through their McBusted era, go watch their documentary called "All About Us" here on youtube. I feel it was a huge turning point to how they are as a band now and how it changed how they write music.

I just recently found your channel and started watching it. I love the way you seem to become an instant fan when listening to a singer you've never heard before. Especially the metal music, which always seems to take a back seat when talking about great singers. I am now a fan of yours. Love the channel.

Same with me. I've discovered them in that movie and straight away fell in love with them. At that time. Me and my gf went to the cinema but haven't planned on which movie to watch. So we just picked whatever suits our time. That moment was kinda special to me. Years after that when we're not together anymore. I shared the I've got you song on my fb and she commented, this is our song. Haha idk why the hell im writing this here. Hearing u said that u discovered them in the same movie just brought me back to that moment. Probably 17 years back. Been listening to them till now and glad that they still make such wonderful songs. It's weird tho till this date, they're still underrated. Wish i could see them live.

It's like, when you listen to it, you can't help but get caught up in the emotions, you know what I mean? The lyrics are deep, talking about dealing with loss and stuff. James Blunt really knows how to lay it all out there and make you feel it. It's like he's taking you on a journey through his heart and soul.
