She was not married to Jorge, was not trapped, no kids, not financially dependent She bailed him out the next day after he would go to jail... Its a slap in face to women and men truly battered stuck
I'm pissed the prosecution even offered her a damn deal. but I'm thrilled she's too stubborn to take it. I anxiously await the day she is found guilty, and even more so when she finds out she will spend the rest of her best years in prison. BYE FELICIA
Based on the depos taken from the expert witnesses, Sarah's position seems to be "Killing him was purely unintentional, but torturing him was out of fear for my life." Many defendants have tried to use Battered Spouse to justify self-defense. Sarah might be the first trying to use it to justify self-offense.
Im not sure she thinks she is gonna win the trial. But she 100% believes she will win in appellat court. She is convinced of being wronged this whole time by the courts/lawyers/entire justice system. I completely believe this is her route.
Boone did the right thing. I would have rejected that offer too. She can be let out immediately if she gets an acquittal, so why would she agree to go to prison? Boone knows exactly what she's doing.

I completely believe this is her plan of action. Being acquitted in appellat because the appellat judges are known to be softer and sarah just knows she is right.
@@mynameiseve.1 I believe the judge is being very careful to make sure an appeal is not possible. Can you believe she admitted beating him with a bat while he was in the suitcase!?!?!?? Unbelievable 🤯🤯🤯

@beckydoesit9331 lolololololol That's why it won't be "manslaughter". She knew what she was doing. 1st degree premeditated murder is the charge she will recieve from a jury...because that's what she deserves. She's just a pathetic liar trying not to pay for her actions like women typically do.

@@beckydoesit9331 Respectfully, I disagree. I think this will be the biggest mistake of her life, other than zipping up that poor man in a suitcase. Ten years is a steal compared to 22 years or more.
Why does this keep getting called hide and seek? If she zipped up the suitcase with him in it, how is that hiding?? Did I play hide and seek wrong my whole life?
Seriously she's a complete moron, and hope prosecution brings that up, she said in the interrogation they had a great day no problems and doing puzzles and games. She admits on the video this is for you cheating on me not hitting me.
Sara is about to learn that she is a liar. Boon is a liar. Boon will know that she is a liar. And it will be proven Sara. Take the sweetheart deal and go. That’s the best deal she ever going to get. I bet she is listening to her jailhouse lawyer bunk mates. They prolly tell her. Take only the 3rd plea offer. The offers get better and better she thinks. First offer. Life, which was the max. 2nd offer. Manslaughter charge of 15 yr. Which she had served half with good time. So perhaps she holding out for a better deal. The only thing she did right was she totally buried prosecutors with motions and dr’s and witnesses. Just totally inundated the prosecution with so much information. It’s overload.

@@beckydoesit9331 😂😂😂 Have you seen the video? Listened to her testimony? She's NOT getting out!!! Her arrogance will cost her a MINIMUM of 22.5 years, but I'm sure much longer. Sarah isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, she's an idiot.
@@Tammy8823 Why do you think this? After everything she has put the court through? Kraynick needs to make an example of her. She is a sociopath who deserves a life sentence.
I think one of the reasons she rejected the plea deal is because she is looking forward to all the attention. She's not about to pass up the opportunity to do her performative victim act on the world stage.
The state pretty-much knew Sarah wasn’t going to accept the plea deal, Which is why they offered her such a generous deal. Natalie lawyer chick, a real defense attorney on RU-vid, explained how prosecutors sometimes offer very generous plea deals to an Accussed person when the prosecutor is pretty sure The Accussed person is NOT going to accept the plea deal. And once the plea deal is denied by the accused person, the court can pretty much throw the book at her in sentencing.
@@vegpuppy255incorrect. They offered her the deal to get this 4 year ongoing case over with. It’s wasting taxpayer time and money. Her own ego didn’t allow her to take it. The court system will never opt for the most inefficient use of their time by going to trial. This isn’t some sorta gotcha, it’s about efficiency.
Sarah will REGRET Her decision to reject this plea deal!!!! This was the States way to say, Here is a sweet deal, We are tired of You, please shut up and go away.
She shouldn’t be allowed to enter battered spouse syndrome defense and even if she is allowed to she clearly intentionally murdered him she set there taping it and laughing. She deserves life in prison without parole
This is the only time I've been glad this cloven-hoofed heathen thinks she's smarter than everyone in the room. She could've been out in less than 6 years with the new plea deal, now it'll be no less than 22. For being "the best at everything she does", jail math ain't one of them 😂☠️
Narcissists don't accept responsibility, and they are always the victim. Besides she literally needs attention so talk of hair and makeup will not be passed up.
Sarah's Narcissistic Personality Disorder won't let her take a plea deal. She doesn't think what she did was something she should be punished for. She wants her day in court so she can tell us "her truth". Hopefully she will be found guilty...but since the Casey Anthony trial I have never underestimated a jury's ability to be stupid.
A true sociopath with malignant narcissism. No guilt, no shame, no empathy. Thinks she is smarter than everyone and thinks she will be able to manipulate everyone and get away with her story.
Boone did the right thing. I would have rejected that offer too. She can be let out immediately if she gets an acquittal, so why would she agree to go to prison? Boone knows exactly what she's doing.
This was a really smart move by the prosecution to offer Sarah Boone a plea deal in open court (which was honestly much more of a generous deal than anything she deserves) because it eliminates the potential for this being grounds for an appeal.
It was very smart. I believe they knew she wasn't going to take it too. She is too delusional. She thinks she is the smartest in the room and that she can talk her way out of this.
@lauriewood2359 and once the media attention ends..... Sarah will be forgotten.....just a blip on some rogue meme..... the silence in her cell will be deafening.... I often wondered if she would hurt herself once she's sentenced.... she's so delusional & quite honestly, I feel bad for her & EVERYONE attached to this tragedy

I dont see it that way. I think they really DID have a great night. They painted, did puzzles, drank wine, etc. She lured him into that suitcase as a joke or a game, and as soon as he was in a vulnerable position she flipped the script on him. I fully believe she planned to do this all along and she really thought she could get away with it by saying it was an accident. I dont think Sarah ever waivered, has NO humility about the incident. She put him in that suitcase and zipped it up she had no intention on letting him out until he was dead. Now when it comes to the video I have no clue why she would film it the way she did. Its almost like she thought she was going to post it on social media or show it to him later? Thats the only part I dont understand is why she would have made that video to begin with. Who was she planning on showing that video to later?
@@Pozorrogoshe was drunk as a skunk very impaired! Slurring her speech bad!!! Do you think straight when very drunk? Does anyone? NO!!! Duh 🙄 you rationalize as she was totally in her right mind! She wasn’t at all!
This was what I originally thought too but they are saying she assaulted him after he got in which almost makes it worse like the other person said flipping the switch…I still don’t understand her defense why would you play these games if your “battered”
@@Pozorrogo She did this before with the suitcase, her and her ex put their son into it and uploaded a recording which caused rage in people, I bet she and George were discussing that and he said I bet i could fit and then what happened happened. It could have been her idea wondering if he would fit.
Same here honestly. She's already spent years in jail, so she would've gotten time served plus the 12-13 years (I forgot when this all started) She is a narcissist though, so she'll always be in the right no matter what people say or do.
Sarah trying to use battered spouse without admitting she did the murder on purpose is INSANE. And be clear that is all this is - she wants to use battered spouse and maintain it was an accident where it gets her off the hook. Greasy.
Well you see the thing is that would be a more reasonable defence however this is Sarah. It is actually battered spouse and self defence…. self defence from a guy locked in a suitcase for 12 hours.
No common sense. She believes she will be set free and get 56 months of alimony. She's keeping her eye on the prize. She also believes she did nothing wrong.
She was abused bad and has evidence on sicko Jorge assaulting her before but on that night she admitted they were good so nothing bad lead up to her putting him in suitcase except her sick twisted depraved plan to kill him as revenge for his assaults and cheating! Nobody will buy her stories!
The way she spoke to the Judge when he asked if she needed anything: “Water or whatever”. She thinks she is the most important person in the world. What is truly unfortunate is if things don’t go her way during the trial, the prosecution apparently can offer her the plea deal again. Given this, I feel this is her strategy. Truly unfortunate that can’t be the last offer prior to trial.
The state does not have to offer her anymore deals. They typically make one last offer before the jury selection get under way and then they move into jury selection then trial here in Florida.
He was a small statured man with a low intelligence and low functioning that she could gaslight, manipulate and bully with the threat of calling police and accusing him of attacking her. This is why she could get him to sit like a child and do puzzles and paint with her all day and trick him into getting into the suitcase. This is why his family didn't want him with her, as they knew she would eventually manupulate him into prison for her own entertainment. Horrific this new info that she also beat him with a bat when he tried to get his fingers out. This explains the injuries they found all over his body. What a cruel, horriffic death. The more she talks, the worse it gets. If a man had done this to a woman there would be far more public uproar.
He was a different culture. And a i chronic alcoholic . Although he was able to hold down a job when they first met. She chose him over her son and Brian . but yes she did that. I think he was trying to leave her. That's why she was enraged.
Apparently, he had no issues with the law prior to meeting SB. I think she would get drunk and pick fights until he cracked and then she would call police.
I was very disappointed that the state offered her a reduction in the charge but i was delighted that she rejected the offer. When she is hopefully found guilty she will serve life. The likelihood of her getting parole is ZERO, because in order to get parole she would have to admit she killed him. How is self defense against someone locked in a suitcase a claim. Her claims of her innocence are not caught on video but the proof of her guilt is on video.
I think they offered the plea because they knew she wouldn't take it. Nothing in anything I've heard from her or about her says she is smart enough to count her lucky stars and take a plea. She is self-righteous, arrogant, and a narc.
We better hope so. At this point, I'm really hoping she gets life w/o parole but after they gave her that deal of a life time, like why would they do that. So unfair to Jorge.
Because self defense is the only way she can be seen as a victim and it’s just crazy how committed a narcissistic mind is committed to that viewpoint. I literally don’t think she can help it, no matter how stupid it is
I never even thought about the prisoners and staff required to maintain a prison during the storm. How can they hunker down? They’ll lose power too even with a generator. That’s nuts
She was drunk off her ass very impaired! Slurring her speech bad. You didn’t hear the phone videos? Next day she wasn’t drunk anymore but I bet hung over.
Can’t wait until the prosecution hits the facts of the case hard. Then for Judge Kraynick to drop that Golden Gavel of Justice. She is horrid for trying to use BSS, would a women in a vulnerable position try to stop her partner from having a drink, then tell him- let’s clean the house. She’s too controlling to be a DV victim
It IS 4 years that she would actually serve. The 15 given years would actually be 8. She's done 4 already. A lawyer explained this - cant remember where.
She didn't take the plea because she is arrogant enough to think that she's going to get on the stand and talk her way out of this. Wait till that prosecutor gets a hold of her butt. It's going to be epic
Sarah will settle for no less than complete exoneration, and the longer it goes on, the more likely her demands will also include an apology from the head of every agency involved.
Rejection merely illustrates the height of her narcissistic delusions She still believes she’s going home and has fans! Her attorney wanted his recommendation ON RECORD that she accept the plea deal indicates he’s realizing full well why he’s attorney number 9! Self defense/BSS don’t hold water bc she’d have to ADMIT IT WAS INTENTIONAL Sarah is due for a reality check which still hasn’t sunk in after almost 5 years of incarceration 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
22.5 years is the MINIMUM! once he takes into account her total lack of remorse and her desperation to have the last word on everything, coupled with her arrogant entitled behavior (and lack of letter writing skills 😂) i can see Kraynick sentencing her to life!
Yes shes a narcissist and an idiot for not taking that deal shed be out in less than 10 she already served almost 5 and good behavior she'll be out sooner! As someone who has no life and no drama im glad she didn't take the deal because looking forward to this trial and the jury giving her 40 yrs or more!!!!
She tortured that dude and I don't believe one word she says about their relationship. She probably hit him fifty times and if he finally stood up and tuned her up she calls it him being abusive instead of him defending himself from her . She killed him while he begged for his like and she giggled and let him die crying. She is wicked and I don't believe she was battered at all. She is violent and her evil eyes show it . He was helpless and died weeping and she is the aggressor throughout. I think she has always been the aggressive one. It's surprising nobody that knows them hasn't told how their relationship looked from the outside in .
If SB confessed to hitting his fingers with a bat I wonder if that's all that was hit. I look forward to hearing the coroner's report and if the other contusions mentioned are in line with the use of a bat.
Boone was the ab*ser. He was only 103lbs qnd she was 145lbs You can see in past calls to her house on bodycam footage that she called the cops on jorge but they arrested HER as well for leaving marks all ovrr him. You could tell that Jorge was clearly fearful of her in the bodycam footage
She beat him down with constant abuse and used the cops to put him in his place when he tried to fight back. She's the type to stand in the doorway and refuse to let you walk away and respond with punches and eyescratches if you try to push her to one side.
Agree. I hope they can use that bodycam footage in the trial. She manipulated situations and created all this drama and gave herself the starring role.
She pressed charges 4 times. She was arrested for battery once. I noticed it was a female cop that didn't listen to her nonsense. He didn't press charges.
Hi Guys at Court TV, could you possibly sort the audio as it has this annoying hum where you can't hear sometimes what either the state or defence are saying, do you guys use lapel mic's at all as that may make things easier in terms of clarity and also less danger with all of the mic leads everywhere. Much love to you all, you do a great job covering these cases for us, thank you. xx
@@blacklisted4885 please deals help the judicial system run more smoothly. If every single case went through a full trial, it would take ages for a case to make it through. There can definitely be misuse of plea deals, but that doesn't inherently make them bad.
Trials are time consuming and expensive. I don't even want to know what Florida has spent on Sarah already. Just on the attorneys she's gone through it has to be outrageous. She's a fool not to have taken that plea. I imagine she'd have been eligible for parole within a matter of a few years. She has almost 5 years credit served.
