Dude this is creepy as fuck because of what has ACTUALLY been going on in my neighborhood. I'm not making this up but for the last month or so we've had a truck come thru at 3amish. I've watched them several times and they come down the road and then back up it just like the trash truck(my road has two entrances so it isn't pulling thru). The difference is that it has more than one person riding on the back. It almost looks military. I haven't wanted to be seen watching them so it's been hard to get a really good look. My fiance and I are both very weirded out by this.

The most unrealistic part of this is that the farmer who lives in the middle of nowhere with a wife and two young kids didn’t open with fire the moment an unknown vehicle came down his driveway. Ammo is expensive these days, so no warning shots lmao - someone who also lives in the middle of nowhere

Also, there is no garbage service in the middle of nowhere. You bring your own garbage to the transfer station, then it’s taken from there.

Always love a story where the monster impersonates someone/mimics a person voice to lure in prey. The ending makes you wonder if the family became their victims or if the creatures were listening to them as they left, hidden just out of sight, but always there.

Some details mentioned near the end, is that they're definitely his wife and kids. The moment he opened the curtain, it was like gazing upon an eldritch horror. My personal theory for this one is Skin walkers.

Easy solution: stop paying for garbage pickup service. Because you know most rural areas don't get it for free like you do in the city limits, right? We don't have garbage service and we're only two or three miles outside the city limits. If you don't hire a private garbage pickup company you have to haul it off yourself. Also city councils don't address county issues.

Wow, garbage service is free somewhere? I split my time between my home and the family home, I pay through the nose for garbage service in the city and up north we bring it to the transfer station for that township included in the taxes. The township also provides very affordable plowing at a seasonal price, no matter how often it snows. I would kill for that in the city.

@@___LC___ well not free but covered by taxes. City taxes are a lot higher than county and rural areas often don't offer anywhere near the same services. We don't have trash pickup or sewer service in the county.

I know it s hard but I pray to hear some shorter pastas. Those usually hit the hardest. With how popukar this is its ubderstandable people kind go towards deeper stories without any big gotcha moments, since most have been done by now. But surely we still have unexplored avenues, right?

that title remind me that story where the guy got called to fix or something on the farmhouse or something like that and the family living there is an oldman ,his wife and kid(im not sure either old or middle age cant remember that part) and when its almost dark outside the guy decide he gonna go leave but the oldman stop him from leaving blablabla just in the nick of time before he open the door a vehicle show up outside the farm gate, 2 man or so come out - walking abit infront of the gate for a minutes then leave blablablabla the man heard the oldman said they were the garbageman and they started doing that weird shit(come-park outside the gate-walk there-leave at night) a week or days before blablablabla forgot the ending but those family dead nonetheless not sure about that poor dude though forgt the part. i wonder if this the same story or different one.

It isn t. Dudes talking historical. Colloquially it means "kill a large portion of". As many words, this one too does not keep its full meaning from its origins of year 250. They get reatributed over time.
