I love how this story not only delves into the creation of the entities which stalk the Backrooms, but also acts as a modern retelling of the Greek myth of the Labyrinth, commissioned by King Minos of Crete and designed by the famed inventor Daedalus to imprison the Minos Bull (the translation of Minotaur), and to act as a prison to torment its sacrificial inhabitants. I hope that if this story continues, that it will go further into who created the Backrooms, but also who ordered its creation, as well as a potential epic finale. The precursor could be titled The Daedalus Experiment: Minos, and the finale could be The Daedalus Experiment: Theseus, referring to both the creation of the labyrinth and the eventual slaying of its captive tormentor. REALLY hoping this will become a series, and if the OP reads this and needs ideas, I would be more than happy to share some ideas I have XD

I like this. I was quite excited to see the title of this story and hoped it was a reference to the Ancient Greek stories. The mention of “Theseus” in the story really seemed to cement the reference. Also I’d like to consider the story Theseus is connected to where he helped Pirithous in honoring a promise to help the man get a new wife. And they both dared go to the underworld to ask for Persephone’s hand in marriage. Hades of course was less than thrilled and trapped the two to a stone until Heracules came to free them. However, only Theseus could leave. Pirithous had to stay behind for his audacity that was too great to try and steal the Queen of the Underworld away. It would be interesting if there would be a connection to that story as well.

About a few weeks ago I listened to this story, called 'My Dad had a hole in his head'. I was so fascinated by the story, and still am thinking about it. I dunno why it captured my imagination so much, but it did. This is such a great channel!! Peace ☮️ The story is amazing, explains a lot to me. 🌻 🦋 ✨ 🐚

While I read about some other channels doing a collaboration, I think that it would be amiss if some others would be included in this collaboration. Such as Natures Temper, Dr Creepen , Creeperoni, Eden, Ghoulish Gal, CreepyMcPasta plus I’m sure that there would be a few others that have not been mentioned in the comments. Now utilizing these channels would truly be an epic video.

That was before this story, when King Minos of Crete commissioned Daedalus to design an ever-shifting prison for the Minos Bull (the Minotaur), not only to lock it away but to also act as an execution chamber for his prisoners to wander before meeting their eventual demise. The story which you are thinking of is when Minos holds Daedalus and his son Icarus captive while Daedalus designs the maze itself. This story is from the perspective of one of said prisoners being sent for slaughter.
