The Porsche 911 Dakar comes from a world where 480hp off-road sports cars are an absolute necessity. I'm not sure that world exists, but I'm bloomin' glad this car does. It's a 911 with less grip, more body roll and a surprising amount of charm and character. Join me for a full review of it, both on-road and mildly off-road, including a look at the practicalities (that's a quick bit) and what it's like to live with.

Most fun you’ve had in a car? Perfect for the channel of nonsense! It’s amazing how Porsche mess about in the margins. So many different rounded / polished sports car experiences with one chassis! I think I’d be a little louder with my colour choice though 🤓

This is simply just cool, it's bonkers, what's not to love about it. With Sydney/just out of Sydney pot holed roads, this makes perfect sense 🤣 It'd also be fun going along some light offroad tracks and seeing faces of owners in their hiluxes/rangers seeing a 911 offroad 😂😂

Cool car. Can you not switch the parking sensors off off-road? Seems surprising/would be as annoying as it sounds in this video.
