Yup, Sildenafil aka Viagra is actually also used for Pulmonary Hypertension and it being effective against ED was a side effect when they were looking for properties to deal with hypertension in general, and Angina Pectoris! Tadalafil aka Cialis was then developed from the knowledge gained and is being used to treat both Pulmonary Hypertension and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia - and of course, ED! As someone who has medicine induced BPH and occasionally been dealing with medicine induced Prostatitis, Tadalafil has been a life saver! Sure, I still have to piss 4-5 times during the night, but since I started taking Tadalafil, my Prostatitis has been much more rare and it’s a lot easier for me to take a piss! And I honestly can’t complain about the side effect I've occasionally struggled with anti-depressant induced ED some years back where I was given Sildenafil and it was like, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t - but Tadalafil is definitely the better of the two, and it’s not even ED I get it for - and although it isn’t supposed to be combined, doing so is FUNFUCKINGTASTIC! Oh, and by the way, as 8 understand it, they’re looking into the possibility that Tadalafil might reduce the risk of Prostata Cancer, and aside for Sildenafil possibly reducing women menstrual pain, I'm pretty sure I read about them wanting to research the possibility of Sildenafil related to women sexual health. We know that ED and skin problems affect mental health a lot, so there’s probably also some health benefits unaccounted for there, just like various products used to treat skin problems isn’t taken into consideration when looking at mental health issues….

"the way it fell behind in the face of new evidence" this reminded me of Ayurvedic medicine from India. today Ayurveda is pretty much just pseudoscience ... because it didn't keep up with the times. some ayurvedic texts written over a thousand years ago contained surgical techniques, that were probably state of the art. now, not so much 😕

Um, could it possibly be that curing ED was pretty easy?

@@anubis2814Um, more likely that I commented before finishing the video. But we still disagree about the viability of mnra products.

@@ChorusArtists Why I wait till the end of the vid to hit send cause I used to do that as well, luckily they were all too big channels to have the time to call me out. What's you argument and disagreement with mRNA tech? My vaccine department is literally shutting down all further vaccine development and shifting over to other tech. Because mRNA vaccines are better at literally everything with less side effects. I also work in Car-T where we are literally curing cancers. In fact mRNA tech was created with cancer in mind and pathogen vaccines was more a happy side effect.

@@anubis2814 Isn’t it funny how so many great advances within medicine always come down to the side effects? (I know it’s far from always true, but it still happens enough to be kind of funny)

@@anubis2814 "You'd be surprised" No. I'd say those people are dumber than your intended audience should be.
