You really have good taste when you're doing your vehicles man. It's always the right amount of exterior modifications to set it off without being too much. Can't wait to see it going
You’re making your mark in history with these builds. 30-35 years from now people will be looking back and talking about all the cool trucks that came out of your shop!
Man you have come a long ways. I've been following your channel for about 6 or 7yrs and I remember you working out of your home garage with the red C7.
Seeing the cars/trucks you've built over the years, I was confident you guys did it the best way you could. Love this build & hopefully GM makes a single cab short bed 4x4 v8 in the future!
Any plans to convert the longbed frame into a shortbed frame as a test now that youve seen the differences between the two frames. Maybe in the future you'd be able to just shorten frame/different tank/driveshaft/short bed and be quicker turn around
Dunno why gm doesn't make a regular cab short bed 6.2 at least have it as an option ford does it im not so sure about dodge regular cab short bed with there 392 engine.🤙🤙🤙
bigger is always better! 5.3L vs 6.2L I mean without even touching it you are getting like 100+hp and TQ over the 5.3 its not that they are bad at all pretty much the same engines and there is also a 6.6L option that guys are starting to use/build
God forbid you actually did your own research before beginning this build, which is quite the undertaking in itself, before the keyboard warriors start with the could'a, should'a, would'a BS 😂 You'd think they'd know after the ZL-1500, and ZR-1500 builds. Looks good, love the content.
(Your not completely real to regular people all they see is a RU-vid video) Many regular people don’t have any clue to what it takes to complete an undertaking like this, especially the different aspects of understanding needed, it’s definitely not a one person job.. great work guys keep it up..
It wouldn’t be possible to import a Mexican 4x4 v8? I know about the 25 year thing but not sure if it would apply to these trucks. I’m sure you looked into this already
I looked into it. Way too much trouble and for what those trucks go for in Mexico I build it myself. Also you have to remember…it’s content to film for youtube
Hey brotha do you still have the vin from the truck you bought the frame from I’m wanting to get this done and I do parts here at the local Chevy dealer
Truck design hasnt changed.. ever. The fact is, that a coil spring is not only weighted to that engine, but its dependent on do you have AC or Not. Even for my Dakota, there was a V6 spring, V8 spring, 4x4 V8 spring (1" higher than 2wd) and if you had the RT (which was a 1" lower than the 2wd regular V8) same goes for the Leafs. Thats how you could take a 70s to now 3/4 ton, throw on the 1ton coils and the longer studs and fenders and you got yourself a Dually. Only difference is, theres also a 3/4 and 1ton driveshaft... my Dads 05 3500 diesel Ram; after 12k miles the dive shaft had a bad vibration and the Dodge warranty mechanic said it was a 3/4 ton driveshaft with corresponding part number. whoops.
