I'm on the disability pension myself and I struggle every single pay to feed myself, pay the bills and keep the roof over my head. It is an joke how we treat people in this country. People with a disability are on the same money as the aged pension, which is proven as the video states people with a disability have costs of up to $100 more a week. Plus we don't have savings / super to dig into like the aged pension as well, so we are worse off at every single turn. You are doing a fantastic job, keep up the fight, we all need you to win this.
@@reubenfardell7837 yet we have more expenses being disabled than a person able to work is. Plus jobseeker is a temporary payment, where DSP is permanent. Very different.
I was referred to Sarina Russo to help me find work while I had a medical condition, they literally did nothing for months other than call me every fortnight to remind me how many jobs I needed to apply for. They also missed multiple phone appointments that I was supposed to have with them and most likely continued to get paid for it. After months of getting 3 minute phone calls I asked the agent "I thought Sarina Russo was supposed to help me find work", and after being caught off guard with me calling her out, her response was "Yeah we will help you find work, we'll organize a face to face appointment to see how you're going". What a bunch of crooks.
Disability payments are fine. The Parkinsons guy, as an example Ate yourself into a chair with 'neurodivergent' issues, talking like entitled antifa? Let's just say I understand potential employers' reluctance to hire. She doesn't seem like she is looking for a job. She seems like she is looking for the target of a lawsuit.
Other than the fact you don't know Aeryn, who is a selfless advocate for everyone with disabilities and chronic health issues, your superficial, judgemental response is both misogynistic and ignorant of invisible health challenges, and couldn't be more wrong.
@amorphicdesigns oh no. You called me a misogynist? Whatever am I to do? She didn't get in that chair due to her overwhelming self-control and rigorous exercise routine. Victimhood is not virtue. Until your people's champion(dysgenic loser) figures that out, at least there are still food stamps. So she can get all the processed sugar and unhealthy garbage she needs to continue blaming 'the system'. Btw your judeo insults don't work on me.
@Ashleigh Dee-Ann - Butterfly Journey 888 For pathological attention seeking, weak minded over eaters I can see how a day and a half of work would be like summiting Everest. Employers don't need that hassle or liability.
Yes sure blame the victim. Employers do discriminate against certain minority groups it is a fact. You can call her entitled or whatever but your misplaced outrage should be directed at the system which is preventing her from finding employment and lifting herself out of poverty. Or maybe just maybe you want people like her to suffer? Hmm?
