This family fraud is so common in Pakistan. Something similar happened to me in 2014 and I lost a lot of money which in todays money would be the equivalent of 15 - 20 crore rupees. The worst thing is the time that I’ve lost which you cannot retrieve. The opportunity cost is the greatest loss. Needless to say I’ve never recovered and this is why I’m stuck in the UK doing a dead end job. May Allah protect us all. Ameen
@mohammedalikhan6381 I am very sorry to hear this. A lot of families are faced with two options. Fight till the end or give up. Many that fight sometimes make it and sometimes don't. The bottom line is you fought for what's right and Allah is the best of judges.
Salaam Farhan bhai, Really proud of you. Don’t worry about the haters. Remember Surah A Falak ayat 5. Keep up the amazing vlogs and may Allah shower his blessings on you.
Assalam. Having blind trust in anyone is stupid, we send money even when the relatives don’t ask for it. So the relatives in Pakistan believe that the money they are receiving is surplus money and that they deserve it because they didn’t ask for it, once we send the money we never ask questions on how or what they used the money on. We who send the money believe we are doing good but in fact we are just spoiling them in Pakistan.
I've learned the hard way, I been going to Pakistan nearly every year for just over 25 years and I was a late teen then, I would take perfumes for them which were quite good perfumes but they'd see my after shave bottles that I'd take to use for myself like CK or Boss aftershaves and they'd want them instead, so I'd give them away to them, I remember taking a digital camcorder that was a thousand pound brand new here in UK at the time but I bought it near enough new but secondhand off a friend for £200 just to give it to relatives in Pakistan, they never ever appreciated anything I took for them, they would still ask for more, and I remember taking some really good Phone's some years ago when iPhone had just come out in the UK, I was in to normal Nokia phones at that time I never even used a camera phone myself but for them I took 3 camera phones really good ones, but when I got there and I thought they will be so excited to see the phones I took for them, they were actually gutted judging by their faces, all they kept saying is "why didn't you bring us iPhone"? Lol I actually didn't even know what an iPhone was until I got back to the UK after afew months 😂😂
They lose respect for you, and think you're a simpleton Joey... Because they believe no clued up person would do that.. plus these people admire and respect people who takes others to the cleaners.
Shaddad ibn Aws reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the first thing you will lose in your religion is the trust.” Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī 7182
That message you read about working in mills and brother sending money to brother is exactly our story, but my dad got most of the land on our name. The rest his brothers and their sons took.... They sold all our lands and plots - now they on the run, but they keep buying the Patwari, DCO, SHO, Judge, Anti-Corruption and Police... We only won when we went higher than the DCO (my brothers in-laws friend in Pakistan). Not everyone is as lucky though... our cases dragged on for 7 years, and we still got one case left we still fighting
@MMD-z6z alhamdullilah, you are fighting for the truth. This will ultimately help. Others will think twice before doing the same thing. May Allah make it easy for you. I don't think it matters what you win or lose. Fighting for justice through the court system is a big deal in itself.
My advice: DON'T TRUST ANYONE when it comes to property and land! Go to pakistan yourself to complete all legal paperwork and keep proof. If buying Land, build a wall around it and signpost it to show ownership. In Pakistan it's best to make buy in built up residential areas. Buying in rural areas will always be prone to kabza.
In Pakistan if you have enough money patwaris & Gardawars will do everything. Kabza groups always start within family and cousins and if you don't have connections as overseas Pakistanis who can't read Urdu storm papers etc will have it harder. We have also lost ancestral land plus a plot my dad brought in 1992 near GT road which in 2024 would of been 15 core unfortunately as the brother said in this video it was our own family members too. Moral of the story always pop to Pakistan regularly and put in your own name. Dewani cases are the longest cases in the high courts even if you have intiqaals the solicitors make all the money.
You have to be careful as when the local relatives realise you're gonna put "their" property in your name then your life may be in danger. If you're no longer around to fight the case then there's no case to answer. They know that.
I moved to Karachi in 2019 from the west when I was 21 years old. I left and came back home forever on January 2024. Living in Pakistan helped me mature quickly as a young man, but every day was miserable. I couldn’t culturally integrate.
Do what my uncle did sold everything at cost price , never had to deal with back home problems, he would send regular money when grand mum and granddad were a alive support them , when they passed away he stopped regular money.
Funny this but the same happens in India as well. Similar mentality I guess. People who have lived abroad should really just let go of their property in India or Pakistan as they don't really need it but should donate it to their relatives who are living there. It's just greed that they can't see the wood for the trees but only see money in their property. They should have kept their money in the West and used it to better their own life in the West. However, they should only allow people, including family, to live there as long they have a tenancy agreement for the house and land. Then there will be no disagreements in the courts but you'll have a hell ova time getting family members to agree to this abroad. And this just shows how people abroad are thinking for the long term once they move into the house and/or start cultivating the land using migrant labour ...😄
Awesome vlog and what a sad commentary on the corruption ridden revenue system of Pakiland. The corruption goes from the Patwari all the way up the system. Believe you me 😢
@drtk9300 I agree, but my understanding is.. change starts now. If the poverty-stricken British Empire could come to India and reduce, what was the 25% of the world wealth to 1% when they left. Then there is hope
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife It was on my grandafathers name, unfortunately my father never went to pakistan to try and sort this out and left it on other people.
Same shit everywhere similar story 😂 the only ppl i feel for is the pll who been sending money bck home so they can have a good life to but sadly undercover they jealously and hate that u aint get enough to them maybe
Assalamu Alakuim Brother Farhan! Great vlog about regarding land issues etc. Not only Pakistan but Overall South Asian Subcontinent has this problem. We have been left with Cultural Feudal Nonsense along with Oppressive Colonial Imperial Nonsense in the region. That's why we have these issues that exist even till today. The laws especially during the British rule still exist today from the late 1800s. It's ridiculous! Correct me if I am wrong that even laws in present day Britain especially for those of you who grew up in Britain know that this system of corruption doesn't exist in UK which British Rule left their filth in many parts of the world in order for places to remain in shambles in order for them (British Rule)to so called be a superpower in the world. Anyways great vlog for those who want to settle or resettle in Pakistan in the times ahead for Overseas Pakistanis in other parts of the world as well other Muslim nationals who plan to settle in Pakistan. Mas Shaa ALLAH keep up the good work Brother Farhan regarding vlogs of going to new places with expats and issues that people deal with domestically as expats in Pakistan.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6LRe6SF9xMk.htmlsi=2A0C3r2YI7dKGgPz Unfortunately this is something very common in Pakistan and very difficult to navigate.
Can just say something the ppl who live here payed the officers to do ur head in so u go back and leave the land because they waste so much time so u need to go back and then what can u do my advice is try do it early go pakistan and get it sorted if u havnt tell ur mum n dad test ur family out say we living and watch ur relatives change the tone 😂 And the patwari who stamps might be dodgy aswell payed 😂 its a madness what u got in nitty gritty stuff its a roller coaster that maybe never ends
