Every time I hear Silkk the Shocker rap, I imagine Master P mama saying "Let your little brother rap on the track baby". Another Silkk song you might want to try is Somebody Like Me w/ Mya, it's got a more R&B vibe to it, and might be a good barometer to tell how you actually feel about him as a rapper. And even if you end up not liking him, Mya's on it, which instantly makes it worth listening to and watching.

The No-limit era was wild, it was something seeing a independent label drop damn near every month was crazy. I think by the time it was all said and done the tank dropped 100 albums. You can literally do a No-limit day each week and have enough content for a few years. 1998 was the best year in my opinion. If you want to checkout some heat, look up Tru (Master P, C-Murder and Silk the Shocker), check out "Who Got The Fire" from Fiend, and anything off of Mia-X's "Unlady Like" album is a can't miss (the title track was one of my favorites). It was so many artist we couldn't keep up with it. If you dig into the catalog they got some heat, especially around the time Snoop joined No-Limit!
