Why do I feel like a fake Christian, like a fraud? 

TO OUR BELOVED AUDIENCE MEMBERS: Please understand that we give a LITTLE room for people to disagree with us, but we do not allow our space to be used to promote gross error, which is faith-destroying. Dad and I do what we do here to bring you the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, help inform you of your ‘simul iustus et peccator/at once sinner and saint’ status with God, through His Son, and make the case for the truth of the claims in the gospels in Scripture WHILE helping to heal the “bruised reeds” and “smoldering wicks”. Sometimes, someone will jump into the commentary with potentially damaging error, and I’ll leave it so people can see our position against it. But, if you see one day that it’s been entirely removed, don’t be surprised. Such things have very little usefulness, and we are very protective of you and know how withering such commentary can be. Please know that we have dealt with such nonsense for a very long time and we are here for you. We know your position and struggle and your suffering. Christ died FOR YOU and He IS SUFFICIENT to save sinners, even faithful ones. “Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!” Trust Paul in Romans 7. God is FOR YOU way more than some would have you believe. God’s grace and peace to you, for Jesus’ sake! Amen!

I remember my pastor way back, preaching and saying " do we need the forgiveness of Christ Jesus any less today than when we first believed?" More! Thank you! Always look forward to the Monday broadcast.

More often than not I feel like the law is crushing me rather than me crushing this Christian life.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one that feels like this.

I would be content for this to be preached every Sunday. I recall Luther writing, (paraphrased) the closer we are to God the more aware we are of our own sin.

"Particularly in his dying. Particularly in his suffering." Best comment of the entire exchange, (it was all great). But yes, Jesus accomplished his victory in dying, the blow the devil never saw coming. Thank you once again, dear brothers.
