Why do Italians say "boh"? 

This was recommended to me after watching the ‘boh’ scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

I’ve heard in other videos that its also used as a rude way to answer to someone

I mean, my teenage students used it all the time and the vast majority of the times you could have easily substituted the English 'dunno', or 'no idea'.

It means "God" in Slovak and probably comes from the EtRUSKI people. "God knows?!?!".

It means I don't know

it means "i don't know" but it can also mean "people are mad"
