On my first full day in Taiping, I decided to follow the Heritage Trail to take me all around the city. I was blown away by the incredible architecture the city has to offer. Not only does it have incredible temples and mosques but there are so many stunning colonial buildings. I even managed to accidentally trespass in a historic school!
I couldn't complete the whole heritage trail in one day before the famous Taiping rain arrived but I had already seen enough to fall in love with this city. It really should be on your itinerary if you are travelling in Malaysia.
