But still some of the plants are grabbed altogether for consumption. So read the following. - Plants don't retaliate while we grab them like animals do at the time of killing them. But I do know about the Biblical view about Ishmael: Ishmael is considered a patriarch of Islam based upon legends that have developed around him and information found in the Qur’an. But what does the Bible tell us about Ishmael? Ishmael was the firstborn son of Abraham. God had appeared to Abraham and promised that he would have a son and that he would be the father of many nations (Genesis 15). However, as time went on, Abraham had no children. His wife, Sarah, had been unable to conceive, and they began to question just how the promise would be fulfilled. In Genesis 16 Sarah suggests that Abraham should have a child with her slave Hagar, an Egyptian. Apparently, this was a somewhat common practice at the time (also practiced in Genesis 30 by Jacob’s wives): the wife would give a female slave to her husband, but any children born would be counted as the children of the wife (perhaps an ancient version of surrogacy). While this may have seemed like a workable solution for Abraham and Sarah, in actuality it caused more problems than it solved. Hagar did conceive a child with Abraham. When Hagar knew she was pregnant, she began to “despise” Sarah, and Sarah appealed to Abraham for help. Abraham told Sarah to do as she saw fit, so she began to mistreat Hagar, and Hagar ran away (Genesis 16:4-6). The angel of the Lord found Hagar in the desert and told her to return to Sarah. So Hagar went back and bore a son; Abraham was 86 years old. In Genesis 17, when Abraham is 99 years old (making Ishmael approximately 13), God appeared to him once again and reiterated the promise that he would be the father of many nations. God told Abraham that Sarah, who was 90 years old, will have a son. Abraham had a hard time believing this and asked that God would fulfill His promises through Ishmael (verse 18). From this we can see that Abraham genuinely loved Ishmael. But God said the promise will be fulfilled through a son that Sarah will bear: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year” (verses 19-21). In Genesis 21, Sarah’s son, Isaac, is born, and once again problems arise. Sarah sees Ishmael mocking the young Isaac, and she demands action from Abraham: “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac” (verse 10). “The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. But God said to him, ‘Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring’” (Genesis 21:11-13). Once again, Abraham’s love for his son Ishmael comes through, and God promises to bless Ishmael. Abraham gathered some provisions and sent Hagar and Ishmael away. After the provisions had been exhausted, Hagar and Ishmael were overcome with grief, assuming that they would die in the desert. “God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, ‘What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.’ Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink” (verses 17-19). Once again, God appeared to Hagar and promised that Ishmael will be a great nation. Finally, we are told that “God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer. While he was living in the Desert of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from Egypt” (verses 20-21). Upon Abraham’s death, he left everything to Isaac, but Ishmael did help his half-brother bury Abraham (Genesis 25:9). Genesis 25:12-18 lists the descendants of Ishmael. They are indeed numerous, divided into twelve tribes, and, as God had earlier revealed, “They lived in hostility toward all the tribes related to them” (verse 18). Ishmael lived a total of 137 years (verse 17). Genesis 25 is the last mention of Ishmael as an individual (except for later genealogies); however, his descendants continue to be mentioned in relation to Israel. Esau marries a descendant of Ishmael since his mother did not want him to marry Canaanite women (see Genesis 28:6-8; 36:3). You're avoiding the real issue which is cutting the animals' throats. That is an inhumane way to kill a creature. It's been scientifically proven that they do feel pain from this.
cutting the animal by throat is the least painful because its disconnected from the brain and letting all the blood out but first the animal should be given some water to soften its throat whereas giving a blow on the head or injecting will be more painful and the blood stays in the body causing infection to the meat so the halal way of slaughter is the safest and less painful

Eid-ul-adha means the festival of sacrifice. The celebration of eid-ul-adha is to commemorate prophet ibrahim’s devotion to allah and his readiness to sacrifice his son, ismail. And ismail accepted wholeheartedly that his father will sacrifice him. At the very point of sacrifice, allah replaced ismail with a ram, which was to be slaughtered in place of his son. This command from allah was a test of prophet ibrahim’s willingness and commitment to obey allha’s command, without question. What is the immorality of the story (btw originating from the bible). Allah is cruel and sadistic asking a father to sacrifice his son. The father Ibrahim did not negotiate the sacrifice or proposed himself in order to protect and save his son. And the son accepted his death, because commanded by allah, but did not question the attitude of his father. That means, submit yourself totally to allah without questioning, even at the price of committing a major crime: murder and killing his son. (BTW, the version of the bible is a bit "softer". Ibrahim feels that the demand of god is not moral, that is why he lied to his son first.)

And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا - 4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. وَإِن مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا - 4:159 And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.

We donot kill plants we take fruits from it which fell from tress. Anyvegetable which we use is not obtained by killing plant. You should make law to avoid killing plants. Start some initiative to save life of plants.

You spend alot of money to provide 1/3 for poor people 1/3 for extended family and friends then 1/3 for yourself. Vegetables comes from plants and plants also have life. If someone thinks we should not eat meat just bcoz of killing animals bcoz animals have life , I would like to ask ,why he eats fish , vegetables? Fish and vegetables also have life. Good answer but it still doesn't address fundamentals. Meat for sacrifice and eating is different, and it isn't said in Hinduism that you "can't" eat meat, but it's a more evolved way of living as we aspire to the greatest. Sadhguru gives a good answer. Also, why isn't there compassion for suffering that we can see in an animal? Why no heart? Just because a prison warden is given permission to beat prisonners, shouldn't he feel a little bad?

As Dr. Zakir Naik quoted in Ch. 22 V. 7 the blood meat doesn't go to Allah but the piety of muslim, then why to sacrifies the poor animals? why not keep doing pietious deeds only? what's the point?.. It is also to consider that Animal/human Sacrifies were traditions far long in Pre-Islamic period, and strangely also the Demonic rituals includes the Animal/Human sacrifices too.. I wonder why Gods and Devils love so much this type of harsh bloody sacrifies. Then respected doctor said it is to feed poor.. the world is still living in poverty after killing millions of animals, why not spend this money in building up their lives.. 2. Dr. Zakir keeps citing Quran and says we are given this permission by Allah in Quran, the Quran which was written and got finalised in 1924 (because before 1923 there were 30 different versions of Quran), this is the Standard Quran which everyone use today based on Hafs 'an ʻAsim's recitation (who is not even from Hijaz, but Cairo) and by the way in Africa still there is another version of Quran being used. these two versions have more than 5000 differences... it is important to know what original manuscript looks like.. or maybe it doesn't exist anymore? Normally Muslims burned all the previous records of Quran.. 3. Dr. Zakir Naik is a MBBS doctor, I wonder how come he miss the basics.. there are many researches conducted which shows that plant based foods include all 23 essentials amino acids with differential levels. all vegetarians and vegans who consumed a varied plant protein diet had no essential amino acid deficiencies according to many studies.. another misleading point, Respected Doctor said cows and goats have flat teeth so they eat plants and lion, tigers, leopard have pointed teeth so they eat meat, Human have both so we can eat both.. if this is the logical then how come Gorilla, hippo, mouse etc eat only plant while having both flat and very big sharp pointed teeth ? Funny thing is that the food of the poor cows goats etc are plants again which are so called missing the essential amino acids..
There is difference b/w sacrifice and killing....killing is againt someone's will(bakreed is forceful). Allah ne bola jo tumhari sabse pyari cheez hai uski kurbani do...to hoomans apne hisab se modified kar ke bakre chatkare le ke khane lage(sabse kareeb pyari to family hai us hisab se to uska balidan hona chahiye). He did the answer to that. Neither the flesh nor the blood of the animal reaches Allah, its only our piety that reaches him. Allah is free of all wants, he does not require to eat. It ritual is only a way of sharing food.

Ibrahim AS like a dutiful servant of Allah and as a prophet did as he was commanded. But when he tried to slaughter his son, Allah miraculously removed his son and had an animal take its place. We celebrate bakr Id in honour of Prophet Ibrahim AS passing the test of Allah.

Furthermore, you keep talking about sacrificing animals but there's another crucial element you're forgetting is that even within the HALAL industry and especially on days like Eid-ul-Udha or Bakra-Eid, animals are being killed in the most gruesome, cruel and inhumane manner and they have been for years, in ways that do not even follow the guidelines that Islam mentions and in ways that Allah does not allow us to treat animals. Even with the animals we eat, we are required to treat them kindly. Those animals that are meant for slaughter are faced with with some of the most barbaric treatment and cruelty from being starved, withheld water, cramped so tight that they are packed like sardines. Those animals are being kicked, stomped on, mistreated, mutilated, having their legs/necks being broken by people and butchers pre-slaughter , thrown from cars/cranes/trucks during unloading and they suffer alot. Those animals are forced to watch other animals become butchered before it's their turn (which is something that Islam does NOT allow us to do -- animals that are to be slaughtered cannot see another being slaughtered, the area before the slaughtering of each animal and of a knife should be clean before animals are killed for food so as to not cause them FEAR, unnecessary pain and turmoil because that is how much we are told to have compassion and mercy and respect for even the animals that end up as food, yet everything that is happening is contrary to those commands. And these are not isolated incidents, this has become the norm. Where are we remembering Islam and Allah's commands when it gets to that part? RU-vid and Facebook alone are littered with videos of during qurbani and slaughter time and everyone is watching this violent behaviour without stepping in, without stopping it, like it's some massive fun party watching an animal's suffering. Where is Islam then? Where is the fear of Allah then? Where is the we must obey Allah's command? Did you ever stop to think if we might be questioned on the day of judgement that we despite being aware of all this, just turned the other way and pretended to not notice when in reality, it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure we go ethical butchers that follow the proper guidelines. What if Allah also holds us accountable for the unnecessary suffering and cruelty they go through? The ridiculous thing is, when it comes to these serious topics -- no one wants to do anything about it -- but when it comes to things that aren't anyone's business except for the individual, for the things that are meant to be solely between a person and Allah like things such as.... like I don't know, here's a shocker: on the topic of how women should dress, act and behave -- all of a sudden everyone wants to profess their devotion to Allah and accountability to Allah by saying it is their duty to speak out and stop what is "wrong". Well, where is our duty now? Where is our willingness to follow the rules of Islam and the Qur'an when it comes to the unnecessary suffering of other creatures??

Those animal use pointed teeth do no symbolise as peace for human but plain teeth animals are peacefull. This proves we should encourage peacefull society by focussing the sybolisation of having plain teeth and also killing by comparing an animal or plant is completly insane. I have been questioned several times that Why on Eid ul Adha we muslims slaughter animals in the name of Allah and why slaughtering animals is a festival. I could not answer why slaughtering is a festival. I want to answer and that is why I want to know. Please help me out.
