Why Do Narcissists Go After Lightworkers? 

We're a threat to them and can see right through their tactics. They are deceivers and we seek the truth. They fear us. Be strong light workers.

Your first love and last love is self-love

This was the very first video I saw last year and it spoke volumes to me. I was 34 when I married my borderline husband. Over a 4 year period I was reduced to a vegetable. I had no life, no personal friendships, no money, no freedom and was completely diminished. The first time I went to a grocery store after I left him, I had a panic attack and had to leave the store. On another occasion someone smiled kindly at me and I burst into tears. Before I met him I had run my own business in London, managed another business, traveled across America by myself for a year and growing up took care of my mother's house and 7 younger siblings. I had a job at age 13 and always worked after school and on Saturdays. I was college educated and was given a scholarship to a major university to do a Master's degree without a Bachelors (I trained as an elementary school teacher in the 70s in England when only a Teaching Certificate and a three year college education were required.) I really did not know what had happened to me until a lot later on. Now I understand very well.

Being spiritually awakened and alive finally. I found that when my light gets too bright, they see it. They don't even have to be physically around me. That's when they show up though. To consume it. I love that I found you Mel! So helpful. And ur connection with Bruce Lipton, an old therapist of mine, tells me I'm gonna heal. I'm on the right path. Exhales beautifully!! Finally the heavens answered my prayers of healing. Love and light. Thank you ❤️🙏❤️

Light workers need to protect ourselves and learn a bit of darkness to defend our core. We are not Saints and floozies to be picked out and bullied. These terrors not only drain us, they at times even threaten our safety and personal health. We should cut them off and let them rot in their toxic waste.

They seek to destroy the light in others

Like many I had this inspiratiinal plan to save the narcissist with my open heart. And honestly believed that it was my love and goal. But something held me down. Suddenly I realised that it was trying to play God to someone who had neither desire no understanding of the need for this change. And I am not God. It was me who needed to heal. And I chose this route. The world will be a better place with yet another healthy lightworker than with two deeply troubled people in it. And a strong healthy person can lead others by example rather than fighting a narcissist on a daily basis. The fight is the last resort and should be fought with a cold head not by an overemotional wounded soul. Peace to all.

My ex told me "if I get married again it will be to a lightworker and you are not one". I am working as a mental health therapist and have been interested in spirituality and allegedly he has been too and is also a mental health therapist. I felt spiritually abused by him. I had put him on a pedestal. At one point he even asked me why I gave my power to him! He ended up cruelly discarding me the same weekend my mother was buried. He was spiritually abused as a child and sometimes he would also tell me that he was vibrating at a different level. I always felt less than around him and wanted his approval. I realize he never really inspired me by his own light and perhaps we were both in darkness. It has been an awakening for me how worthless I felt while with him. I asked him how could a lightworker ever tell another person that they weren't one. So by his admission of he was looking to marry a lightworker and spiritually abusing me then he must be a narcissist. I did see a mess in him. I am glad I am choosing to heal me. But I have literally been forced (thankfully) into it by the discard. I thought I would be following him into the light when I met him but as he fell of the pedestal I saw him more human and I also loved him deeper as I saw his humanness and then he discarded me. So it stands to reason that we might have awakened together but that is not the way it has played out. I was 53 when we met. I went through the change and my only child a daughter left home for college. After being a single mom I wanted to meet the partner for the rest of my life. It was such a disappointment. Well if the level of breakdown is same as the level of breakthrough then I am breaking through indeed. Thank you💕

Throughout my life, I have had the experiences of dealing with narcissistic people and yes we light workers threaten them. What I have learned very powerfully up until early this year is that our power is in full BEAM light workers when we all fully connected and tuned into our source!!!! We need to be TUNED IN, PLUGGED IN & TURNED ON! At all times. When we slip and leave ourselves wide open and off guard is when these guys can intrude into our personal space. We are warriors of light 🌟💫🌟💫 We have laser beam focus when fully aligned in this light. We know the power of it and we know how it raises the vibration and frequency of our our conscious awareness and of this planet. We must HOCUS POCUS FOCUS at all times! Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant, Melanie! Once again, you are truly an Angel of Truth and Wisdom. I literally sat down with a pen and pad and wrote down most of everything you said in this video. "We're not here to turn the narcissist's darkness into light; we're here to transform our own dark place, and emerge from the experience as a radiant; non-conditional truthful authentic self-actualized full empowered loving being." Melanie, once again you come to me with helpful and needed wisdom as I make strides toward a complete healing of my childhood wounds. And today you helped me realize what next I need to do ... and you helped me realize that I am indeed well on my way to being a true Lightworker. My sister-in-law recently lost her sister at the age of 43; she died immediately after giving birth. When I called and spoke with my sister-in-law for 90 minutes, she cried and opened up to me, sharing all her emotions. I was able to help her, bringing love and light into my words. When we ended the call, the feeling I had was palpable as to how much I helped her. A beautiful peace enveloped me. When I shared this information with my own sister, she remarked to me that she thought I had a real gift of helping people heal through my words; she said that I bring spirituality into the conversations, and she told me that my words truly heal others. Biggest lesson of today: "When we really unconditionally love everybody, we allow them to choose their own life and we set them free rather than trying to bend them to our will. And we stop purporting that we know what's right for them. And we stop playing out all those conditional agendas of changing that person because we need them to provide us with our own happiness. We let them go and take responsibility for our own happiness. Our relationship is not about saving the narcissist. Release the darkness so you can become a powerful source of light." i had recently awakening to the image of my ex with Npd and I both wearing a mask, one white one black, ying yang, it was VERY intense, I remember feeling no hurt or anger tho I simply just knew it was meant to be . and as of tonight I'm pretty sure I'm a light worker with all the signs, even orbs following me around. This was the biggest realization for me Melanie. That he was never going to treat me the way I treated him fairly and with kindness - that was consistently returned with malice, unkindness, lies, viciousness, nonsensical made up blame ... to my disbelief. It took me a long time to realize he was never going to be fair and appreciative. Never. It’s like realizing he was dead. Like the relationship with the person you imagined never existed. That it was all your dream and projection. I am finally waking up to the fact that I got all this abuse BECAUSE I never learned to value me, my desires, my feelings, my emotions, my preciousness. I never learned to see and feel myself as a person deserving of getting happiness, because I was taught to only give to others and my needs became invisible... when I asked myself what i wanted ... I had to spend days thinking about it - to get in touch with my own feelings.

They're drawn to our Light and want to take it for themselves or destroy it - Light versus Dark is as old as the ages.

I've personally been going through this with my family and people I used to see as friends. In reality they can't handle their own darkness. Once you speak of something spiritual or truth they start twitching or get quiet immediately. It's like pouring holy water on the devil and they start to steam. Not literally, but they react like a demon. We live in a very sick world and the Earth is gonna fight back to end it all.

I needed the 2nd narc experience to release the darkness. He helped me to see my self worth and experience unconditional love. It was so painful but now I know why

Not many channels address this this aspect . maybe its too esoteric for some, or their not ready whatever..........I find you to be 100 percent accurate and some of us need this. Im a healer too and felt just like you when with those darker soul narcs.

This is very helpful. I think narcs are jealous of the light inside light workers, because they are full of darkness. I'm watching videos to help me set boundaries with 2 family members coming to town. One is a narc, and the other has a streak of narc, but is in recovery and dealing with a lot of pain and trauma. I'm making sure I stay detached, and don't get sucked into their darkness again.

Thank you I cried out to God after this happened to me with the narcissist I was so confused I had no idea what was happening to me I also allowed the narcisssnt to Hoover me back in I’m done now have learned a lot more about them and myself I also think I started taking on traits of the narcissist myself. As an empath and lightworker, based on my own experience with narc exes and other narcissistic people who came in and out of my life, I'd say it is quite simple. We as lightworkers are 'empathic', 'honest', and are putting ourselves out in the world. Until we have fully healed our inner child wounds and the need for acceptance and validation from others, 'we as empaths' can tend to share too much information about ourselves with others and the world because of our subconscious desire to be seen, heard, and validated by others. Consciously we think we are being 'honest' with others' but what we are really doing is handing out information about ourselves on a silver platter without anyone needing to 'earn' that information e.g. expressing genuine interest in us and discovering that information slowly over time as 'trust' and intimacy is built naturally. Meanwhile, as we do this....narcissists are mentally gathering information about us that we share 'too openly and freely'...in which case they get a clear feel for our personality and vulnerabilities. They identify us 'empaths' or 'lightworkers' (remember as lightworkers we are putting ourselves out in the world)...as ideal targets for narc supply. This is when they start putting themselves in our orbit. In which case they charm us and then seduce us...targeting our vulnerabilities and pretending to be the one who truly understands us. Enter the 'idealization phase'. This is how all my ex 'covert narc' girlfriends found their way into my life. Because they were able to learn too much about me because of the work I do...and me putting myself out in the world in the way I do....when they started orbiting me.....I fell for their charm. I am so much stronger and wiser after all the abuse I survived. I am able to do the inner work I need because I understand my blind spots much better and what narcissists are.

I couldn't have become one without the help of them ALL.

Weird f*k'n experience dealing with these sh*ts. It's taken over 2 + years to get over this last narcissist. I have to greatly thank RU-vid for informing me on this phenomena, if not, I'm ABSOLUTELY positive I would have entertained another one. I kept myself single to heal from this crap, best thing I ever could have done, the last month, I just went thru were the hardest. Yes thank you for sharing. I recently found out about the definition of what a narcissistic person was. They truly need higher consciousness because they are full of dark energy. They steal other people’s light for their benefit and do not care who they hurt. I was in one over 10 years ago. It pushed me to step into my own power within. I took the oath to Sober up which I was using to sedate myself, I started going to the gym and enrolled in some college classes. I read every healing book. I am a musician. A former player with a couple of top 100s on Bill board. Not bragging it's I am that light type. Creative Aquarian. So I naturally have a spiritual connection. 2 decades is AA has been a God send. So I am very sensitive to the never ending abuse. Luckily I ran across you last week. I am so relieved and moving in 2 days. It's Feb 2018. Thanks for help. I binge watch lol. A few other too on here. A black doc who also has great men based videos. Well done. He has helped so much. So as it turned out as below. Ash was the offspring of a mom with NPD. Finally thanks to you all. She morphed into Ash and it takes about 3 weeks after they finally go toe to toe then it gets 80% better. Still now I see my GF wasn't a victim at all. Who let's even a daughter give a fatal dose of Oxy cotin to her own brother. Reports her for it. Then 8 months later it's like nothing happened and they gang up on me. This all true. Even worse but that would take a 3 hour video. Maybe I will. Help others. . Terry

We live in a universe of attraction, therefore "like attracts like". An individual can only experience abuse if they've attracted it into their life, because every positive or negative experience is a co-creation. Anyone operating from a frequency of joy and love cannot attract a narcissist or abuse in their life. If you are attracting narcissists into your life, then you need to look inward and clean up your vibration.

This is soo great... I could repeat watch this all night.. I was always trying to dodge the people in my family.. let them say nasty things and then I would try to make peace, give them a hug or smooth things down so I could feel more comfortable being around them... but it never helped.. it always ends in bad feelings whenever we are together and we are hardly ever together as we live in different countries but still I can be hurt by messages or phone calls.. I now know why now... I was trying to help them calm down and feel better even though I was taking the abuse... pointless endeavor .. I have to make my own self-whole... I was following Joe Dispenza and still do and could make myself feel amazing but then still suffer if one of my family members would say something nasty or try to manipulate me... I was aways in situations trying to help people, even in bars, all night helping someone and go home feeling drained and used up... geez..

Fictitious character... if only they could see that's what they have done to protect themselves... its so sad that the very thing that they want is the very thing they are driving away with the false self.. My poor family are so stuck in all of this and for years I have been trying to mention things that can help them, only to be ridiculed.. now I know why... Im so glad I found this .... people say, treat people as you want to be treated.. but it doesnt help .. treat yourself how you want to be treated and dont let them take you out of it

181/2 years with this covert narc. We have a 14 year old son. April 24,2019 Full No Contact court ordered. He keeps trying to break. I gave my heart & then some to this man thinking he was my soulmate. I explained away his crazy, erratic behavior. I finally found out what a narc & an empathic relationship is! I would not wish this shit on my worst enemy!! Thank you for any & all help you give us! You are truly a blessing!

It is about to unleash the sun inside of us. We are so much more than what our limited perceptions make us believe about ourselves. The key is not to hide; the key is to shine at our full potential. It is hard, and that is why it is the right thing to do. Don't ever let yourself down by believing that love, compassion and trust are useless. It is the Narc that is pointless, don't fool yourself. Abundance is the only logical way of life. You've got to produce and share. Wisdom is about turning pain into light, by the means of love. Pain, light, love. They belong to you and you have the power to work these things out. You have power. You can build something great. Start with yourself. Success guaranteed.

The more (spiritual groups would call) unconditionally loving and filled with light I am, the more I attract Narcissists...Maybe Spiritual's Collective's pushing of unconditional love a.k.a. acceptance needs to be changed then, because as humans we need conditions and boundaries. I don't desire to fix anyone, and get out quickly when I spot the Narcissist. I don't want them to come at all tho.

I have thoroughly enjoyed and have been healing from them all. I just want to add that I did your NPD quiz upon diagnosing myself as codependent suffering through narcissistic abuse and scored 56 ( a true codependent) I repeated the quiz recently after 7 months into recovery and scored a 38, healing indeed, thanks to you, Ross Rosenberg and Michael Mirdad, my mentors.

I agree wholeheartedly. I was DONE with my narcissist and NEVER wanted to associate with her again. I told her I needed some space to work on my boundaries and co-dependency issues. She wisely left me alone for a few months then began to call again. Before I knew it, I was sucked back in again. I couldn't STOP thinking about her again and deeply FELT an urgency to call her every day to check in. It creeped me out and I just didn't get what the hell was going on. I went to my Pranic Healer and found out EXACTLY WHAT she was actually doing after all. She was CHORDING herself DEEPLY into every one of my Chakras during every phone call. Front and Back. So, after my Pranic Healer got all the chords out she re-iterated the truth that I should NEVER contact her again. Just wanted to share that there may actually BE A SPIRITUAL way these toxic people are operating on a deeper level than many of their 'marks' may actually know!!!

This is so good to hear! I was willing to be homeless rather than continue to accept being the scapegoat and was so fed up that I told NM that she had to get a counselor. She tried to say no, but I hit her with the fact that she says it's important for other people, so she should take her own advice. Now I have the freedom to say, "talk to your therapist about that" when she tries to drag me in without her having so much leverage with other people for me walking away when she "needed me." I'm starting on the program after watching the shifts happen video with Christine and feeling the power of what you're doing. I'm so grateful to be at a place in my life where I can focus on myself!

I’ve known for a very long time I’m a light worker and I’m 52. I’ve had an extremely difficult time dealing with myself and the world. I went through a relationship with a narcissist. I really think she’s a psychopath by definition. I understand most psychopaths aren’t evil but some certainly are. I went through living hell for three years. I allowed this devil to take about $200,000 in money and many of my things. I was finally able to break with her about 4 1/2 years ago. Thank G-d!!!!! I can’t get over my anger toward myself, her and mainly my money. I worked years to save that up. I’ve asked G-d to help me many times for help letting my anger go. I absolutely hate her for being so cruel. How can anyone do this? I keep asking myself. I’m not obsessed but still angry about it. I know my anger keeps some attachment. Believe me, I don’t want there to be at all. I just keep wishing I had my money back. It’s a huge lesson. I’m trying to meditate and pray again. I’m also doing yoga. I take it a day at a time. I talk to G-d everyday and do my best. I want peace 🙏🏻❤️

i always knew that i would leave my narc of 36 years but i knew that i had to wait for the right time....i am awake and ready for what i was put here to do

Wonderful speech and explanation. I perceive absolutely. Sometimes a test is necessary to see what stage we are in. This part causes me to trigger sometimes still, but it’s actually just a measure of my progress. It takes time, consistency for spiritual maturation. We can't know how to help anyone, ourselves and our creativity if we have not seen unpleasant emotions and our weakness. True maturity is not on shaky feet and it is impossible to manipulate a mature soul. Some young people have naturally that knowledge, but depends on a lot of factors. Every person have own unique path. All that hurts us is our insecurity and must be clean. I totally agree with you. This comments help me to learn english too. But I understand every word you say. THANK YOU! This is such a GREAT message for me to get from Spirit right now since I've been in the process this past month of wrapping up SEVERAL narcissistic relationships. The biggest revelation I recently had as I've been detoxing from them, is how much of the narcissistic tendencies I'd taken on from being around them and then how I was starting to unintentionally project that towards others. I smile at it now but everything you said about what we do in regards to helping other people is exactly what I was doing. Dear Melanie, I've recently come upon your work and am continually inspired by your videos. Experience is soooo valuable and it reminds me of the saying ''you can only lead where you have been''. I just left a comment on another of your videos, that I can honestly say that I now see my 'narc' as a gift. Without her, I could still be running the old tapes (programs) that have plagued me my entire life. What you recommend is exactly the same conculsion I came to....all of it! Without my narc, I would most likely still be avoiding the really deep work that I have always known I need to do. It's part of my personality to avoid uncomfortable situations and do anything I can to 'keep the peace'. That's exactly what I am btw in the enneagram system (#9) ''The Peacemaker''. I like that I am this way, but when it's out of balance, I'm the one taking the hit, and if I want to help others, and I most certainly do, I have to correct this to be truly effective. Healing ourselves, is crucial. Seeing another's journey is very powerful. It's encoded in our being to learn by observation. I resonate deeply with the story of the man or woman on a journey to find themselves, as I suspect many of the people here do as well. They invariable learn to trust their own intuition, and inner guidance as they decend into the hell realms to have the experiences that finally bring them to their True Self. Life is absolutely getting more interesting...the places I have gone and people I have come upon recently, have made it all worth while as I deepen my understanding of just what is really going on. Paul Levy speaks about a Native American idea, that claims humanity is infected with a mental or psychic virus they call Wetiko. It's like a parasite that causes great destruction, but ironically, is the very thing that will bring the human to his or her fullest potential, if....he/she survives. Don Juan tells his student, Carlos, that he must actually get this type of person in his life if he doesn't already have one. He calls it the "petty tyrant" and it's absolutely necessary in order to get to the deepest parts of himself, but once again, a very dangerous situation to be in. We are a tribe...the empaths of the world, that are here for training. Humanity has been hijacked and we are being called upon to get to work. Each of know instinctively what our mission is, and as we heal we will regain our power and finally get on with our lives doing the "great work''. Best to all

This is really good information. Thank you for sharing. An added layer of complication comes with monetary relationships and requirements. My body is telling me this relationship with a manager at a job is bad for my health and well-being. Trying to change this person and lead by example hasn't worked over the long run. This video has helped me verify that leaving the situation is the only true solution with no shame attached. Thank you.

Something that kinda puzzles me is that how did I become the light worker (super empath) and my sister's are narcs? We had the same narc mother but I believe it's God infinite wisdom the people that have it the hardest and endure will inherit the Kingdom of God. I am so ever thankful at the age of 31 that he had blessed me to be privy to this information & people like Melanie & others my migraine headaches have diminished. Anxiety is still there as I know it's a lot of work 2 be done. My narc "mom" only texted me on my birthday which was the 13th if I hadn't known what she is I would have been in tears not this year I didn't give a f***! & it felt good!

I recall long before my NARP healing in throes of unconsciousness I had an intuitive message telling me that "It will all be alright when you lose this". And now I know how perfectly my soul planned it. Lose it all to get it all.

Hi Melanie Thanks for this wonderfully explicit explanation. I am a massage therapist and Reiki jin kei do master practitioner who happens to be a cancer sun,sagg rising and moon in pisces. My wife of 20 yrs was most assuredly a narcissist. She cheated and abused me for some time before we broke up. Thanks for the pure validation . Rick
