Effie wasn’t forced, but she also wouldn’t have had a choice. She was part of the “team” that betrayed the capital. If she had stayed she probably would have been executed and they probably would have broadcast it.

It's possible, but I doubt it. In the novels that was said to happen to the desirable victors, and Finnick had built a player's reputation because of it. I don't think the capitol would have wanted that rep for the "cross district lovers." Also, I'm not sure book Katniss is ever describe as a "desirable." Doubtful she's as attractive as Jennifer Lawrence. Victores were still slaves of the capital, but I imagine in different and unique ways, ways that suited the victor's skill sets.

The stark contrast in Peta is the thing. It's not just that's he looks thin and frail, people all over the districts are thin and frail. With Peta it's the change, in the first film his raw power is literally the talent he uses to get attention. He had great strength but didn't act like a muscle bound jock. He was tender and caring. Now he's thin and frail on the outside but acting loud and obnoxious.

The fact that this is another reaction I've watched with a comment that Peeta is useless, shows how badly they portrayed his character in the films. It's not too bad if you've read the books because you can backfill, but pretty much no one who watched the films gets how useful Peeta actually is.

Love your reaction! As always... 💜 I think Jennifer Lawrence does a freaking great job portraying Katniss and her trauma. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, in my personal opinion all three movies are gems. Of course the books are better (at least that's what I think) but these movies and their actors are truly awesome and super enjoyable. There are many people who don't understand Katniss, but it's fairly easy: imagine yourself in her shoes, living in a world like Panem, with the hunger games and living in the poor districts, trying to care for your family as a teenager and wanting to protect your sister etc, and all that at such a young age. Honestly who wouldn't be traumatized? And yet Katniss STILL stands tall and brave, trying to make the best of her circumstances. And I like the progress of all the other charecters like Haymitch, Effie (bless her heart!), even Prim... The story of the hunger games is a great one and the movies do the books justice!

Another amazing reaction! While I do agree that the film is slow due to it being only the first half of the book, I think it’s nice that it has this pacing because it supposed to be I think of representation of what Finnic just told Katniss that it takes a person longer to put themselves mentally back together after they breakdown. So over the film you see her trying to adapt to life in District 13 as well as struggling with being the Mockingjay, her trauma, and trying to find a way to get Peta out of the Capitol. And if you loved Philip Seymour as Plutarch, I must recommend his film with Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton, Twister. ❤️‍🔥🏹

The editing choices in this video was kind of weird. Does anyone else feel like so many impactful scenes were cut out? Especially many of Peeta's scenes like him choking Katniss and warning them about the attack on district 13. Or Katniss's conversation with Snow about him knowing her friends were in the tribute center. It just feels like the scenes that made this movie so great were not in the final cut. Kind of a bummer, but hopefully the part 2 reaction will be a little better.

I get that you have to edit out some parts so the video is not 2 hours long and you have exclusive content for patron but this felt kinda underwhelming 💔 you guys left the most important parts of the film out 😕 I love your commentary but also I would love to just see you guys truly react to some scenes without feeling the need to make a statement or a joke about it. I feel like when you make collabs is fun and all but you miss so much sensible parts of the films where you just have to watch with full concentration to truly appreciate them (every scene with how the revolution started to form thanks to Katniss's actions is goosebumps worthy and beautifully made, but it's almost like it was just another part of the movie 💔 ) I can't speak for everyone, but for me the point of watching reaction videos is like, when you show your friend a movie you love and want to see him go through the same emotions you did when you first saw it. And maybe talk about it ✨after✨ to see what they think of it. But for that you need those spaces of silence and concentration in between, that are maybe been taken for granted by just editing in the parts with commentary in them. Idk. I love your channel ❤ and I absolutely thank you for making these videos for us! I only mean this as an observation ♥️ Lots of love for you guys and thank you again 😊

I don't think it's necessarily that people hate this movie I think it's just that it's a very different vibe from the previous movies in the series and the fact that it was split in half making you wait to finish up the book and it's pretty harsh with some of the deaths in there and I was pretty offended by how the book and the movie ended I didn't like that I am not going to say how it ended cuz I don't know if you guys have actually watched that part yet but there's some deaths in the last book that are in the last two movies that really just crush your soul and it's really hard for people to deal with and it's not like it's a game like The hunger games it's not like it's some action adventure kid thing this is a straight-up war movie this is the f****** revolution this is how it all ends but I'm very much looking forward to the ballad of songbirds and snakes becoming a movie cuz I heard there is going to be a prequel movie I don't know if it's going to have the same title as the book though but I very much would like to suggest that you read the books there's a lot of stuff that wasn't included in the movies and a lot of people didn't look like they did in the books like for instance the people from the seam you know katniss's area of district 12 they were all basically starving so she wasn't thin enough for this role they also all had black hair and gray eyes with the exception of her mother and sister who were not born from that area the mother was I believe from the rich part of 12 like Peeta and primrose took after her I also didn't like something else about the very end of the book which is in part two of the movie but all complain about that when you see it cuz I don't want to give spoilers in case you haven't already seen it I mean since this has been edited and posted you probably already seen it but I don't want to give spoilers in case you haven't
