Why Do People Like it?? Extreme Landings Pro Review 

This was honestly was my fav game as a kid

I remember playing this during physics lectures instead of actually learning physics to become a real pilot.

This sim saved my life from being run over by a speeding 8-wheeler and was my pre-Infinite Flight fav sim years back, I still respect it today for that reason. All the faults and problem solving while still have to multitask in flying and landing the plane safely taught me to find that small window of clarity in the mind and continue breathing calmly, while finding little spots of ingenuities in midst of PANIC. So when I decided to speed up my old motorcycle (that always feels like its gonna fell appart any moment) and cut in front of a big speeding truck one late morning and my engine failed due to clutch error going in reverse... Extreme Landing's "Training" kicked in with that "Extreme Landinguesque pilot calmness" as I solved an engineering issue, found a temporary solution I've never known before, go to low gear and pulled out of the way seconds before becoming a stretched red mushy paint on the asphalt. As soon as I realized the emergency, I really felt the same effects in my chest to the repeated habit in real life as in-game! Had I not obtained the instinct of multiple positive habits from playing this "game" obsessively at the time, notably staying calm when s#!t happens, I would've just probably froze and put my hands up in reflex and died horribly.

Swiss001: *Sets failures to "HIGH"* Also Swiss: WHY DO I NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER THIS PLANE IS THAT MY COMPUTER OR WHAT

I used to play this back when it's A340 still looked weird and awkward.

You actually miss the snoot droop control, 9:00 the control is moveable

This game was my childhood

When Swiss says “Flight Simulator Review” instead of “Flight Simulator Fun with Swiss001” My disappointment is not measurable and my week is ruined.

The worst thing is that x-plane 10 has a similar rating as airline commander.

You're supposed to trigger the APU to gain some form of hydraulic control in the game. Can't complain about not stuff not working if you're not following the steps the game outlines to fix it

Remember all the memes about Captain Joe being like "When you run out of content ideas". Now all the memesters will do the same with Swiss who literally asked to give content ideas on swiss002.

This game's dark and retro lighting and old school atmosphere is sooo nostalgic. I love this as a GAME not as a simulatior. It was way above it's time.

Ah yes, My first ever Flight Simulator that i somewhat played it on an another guy's phone and i had fun with it. miss the old times. Also Swiss Kansai Airport is also an like HD airport there.

This game is nostalgic. A soft reminder. You are not supposed to expect great graphics and outlooks. you are supposed to test your landing skills here. It becomes extreme here.

Hard question would you rather: 1) fly an a320 with no crash animations, but very realistic physics Or 2) fly an NB320X with pretty good looking crash animation, with bad physics

I am paying attention to the 737 max where you don't want to include apu. The apu light is off, apu is on, however, you need to turn on the external view and move the camera under the apu, you will hear the sound of the apu and after that you need to find out that apu has started, I hope I helped

Fun Fact: there was two panels where you could droop the snoot in extreme landings

The craft was not allowing you to handle it because you put it on high risk mode, which basically disabled the crafts ability to function for you.

Very nostalgic to me tho...
