Sigma males have their life organised around their work, hobbies and other interests and women can be a part of it if they want and if he thinks they are interesting enough, but he doesn't need women to create more value in his life. The alpha male needs people around him to get energy and feel valued. The beta just follows anyone who he thinks has high value and hopes people around him will think he is high value as well.
As one I can tell you that you're spot on every word it's kind of scary. We ignore women for the same reason we ignore alpha men. We are disgusted by people who try to make it all about them, the look at me type people. In a world that's gone mad we understand that going back to traditional values will solve so many things but it's a holy war to feminists and not worth the fight we'd rather just let them crash and burn. As 6' and good looking it's hard to find a decent woman anymore and that wants to give you what you want and need. It's not much to please us but they are things that are hard to speak out loud for being ridiculed in today's world.
I can agree to many things you just said. 1. I never talked to every lady at my work but those that I didn't talk too often asked me out. 2. I agree with not interfering with relationships. One lady offered me her boyfriends lunch and something else but I shot her down. 3. Freedom is non-negotiable. Hate being pinned down 4. Couldn't think of dating until I healed from a break-up. 5. Emotional and dramatic women are a turn off. 6. I have always pictured the dream girl being roughly same height, age, intellect, and driven. Feeling like two equal pairs. I normally don't relate to most bullet points on personality quizzes and whatever but all this seems to hit the nail on the head.

Im a sigma male…. These days women be crazy!! The juice isn’t even worth the squeeze. Too much risk and very little reward. I also FULLY agree with you about not going for women who are involved. And most women stay in bad relationships while looking for a better guy. This ensures that women will only find another asshole because a great guy won’t try to take another man’s woman and he wouldn’t want a woman willing to ditch her man so easily.
Could it be that what society expects of women has changed over the last decades, causing uncertainty when it comes to dating and therefore not making dating as simple as input = output? A common example of simple input = output: A man puts in the effort to take a woman on a nice dinner date and so the woman is appreciative of his efforts and spends the night in his bed.

However it’s far far easier for women to get attention or sex than it is for most men. The problem is caused by men being way too “thirsty” for women and that dating apps are encouraging a quick “swipe right” disposable and thoughtless approach to finding a date. This gives almost any woman unlimited choice of men to date, so naturally they’re going to pick the best male specimens possible while ignoring more average men. This teaches average men to work their asses off to try and appear as good as the top 10% of men. Simultaneously, the top 10% of men become extremely confident due to having their pick of many women so they have an attitude of indifference towards women, which is exactly what attracts women! Women want the man that seems to not want them because his behavior signals that he must be a high value man. Any man that makes too much effort to get a woman’s attention is usually rejected harshly and called creepy. All of this tends to teach men that the only way to get female attention is to treat them like they’re disposable and don’t matter. Then the women that get fed up with being treated like garbage write feminism books teaching women that men are evil and unnecessary, so generations of women grow up treating good guys like crap, and only dating assholes, and the cycle continues. Sigma males watch all of this crazy bullcrap happening and we usually just refuse to participate in this ridiculous dating drama. It’s all incredibly stupid. If more women would just recognize and appreciate that it is difficult for a good guy who’s slightly insecure to approach a woman because he actually cares for her and is scared to ruin it, and that a guy who is super confident probably either doesn’t actually care or has a view of women being cheap and disposable, perhaps this would help. Also if more men learned to have enough self respect to stop demeaning themselves groveling at women’s feet like pathetic simps, perhaps more women would appreciate their advances more. Men need to be more selective and women need to be more appreciative of good often shy men and stop rewarding the assholes with sex and attention all the time! This would change things if adopted en mass. But obviously this will never happen.
I am also a sigma male too, I think sigma's ignore women because they are not necessarily looking to hook up but they are also not looking to give wrong signals. Alot of women think straight guys are looking to get you into bed if you talk or even look at them, it's not necessarily true, and most women can't tell the difference and tend to jump the gun. Sigma's know women are more trouble than they are worth so avoid unless a woman makes it clear she is interested in him and the sigma thinks she is genuine. Otherwise he will turn coat and not bother, women's games and tricks will not work with sigma's. That is why they want us, because we are not so attainable as other guys. Women can do what they like. Sigma's are not swayed, we are there, we see, we observe, we do what we like.
I blocked a girl because of playing games with me. She want me and i want her but playing games is a no go. Maybe the time will come to a moment which i will unblock her. I know she had a bad time with other guys but i am not the other guys. She have to understand that and stop having fear about what could happen. No games, no drama just true love. As what is labeled a "sigma" male, and going by this list, I fall in to this category. Yet a sigma does not tout his status, regardless. But to keep it simple, I am a sigma. Introvert, empath. INFJ from a personality test I took a while back. I married a women, that by this list I should not have. But yet her extreme polarity from me is what balances us. At times-hahaha I do love my solitude and need it more than not. She has accepted my personality and does not mind that I need it. She understands the ways of me and is still learning what makes me, me. As I am still learning about her. People change throughout the years. And if you do not accept change, you relationship will fail. If your love changes, well.. The only thing that stays the same is that everything changes. Everyone has there ways. It is just how they choose to express it and push it on others that "sigmas" do not like. She loves to vacuum. I do not. But she doesnt yell at me to vacuum or treat me different because I dont like to vacuum. Seeking a woman that is exactly like yourself is dangerous. Why would I want to marry myself? That indifference is what can bring you together. It gives you a more broader perspective of other people and it teaches you humbleness. Your way does not have to be the only way. Sigma might be born from accepting the worst case scenario of never even having a girl, well in that case a sigma male decides to learn things like cooking, cleaning house, etc. that was usually managed by house wives in the past so that they can face that worst case if it actually become a reality and fight head on and deal with it.

A sigma male gives high value on his independence. So don't compete with his attention. You don't boss him around either. You don't try to change him or rein him. Although it just takes a bit of more time to make him fall for you, when you date a sigma male, jealousy and fights about women would be very very rare. I am an INFJ, type 1w9 myself and it's already incredibly hard to find someone who would understand my way of thinking and dive deep just to get to know me. But a sigma male would.

I'm not one to apply labels to myself as I find it needlessly restrictive however I do strongly resonate with most things on this list. I always do my own thing for my own reasons and never compromise my personal code of honour. I am happy alone or in company and I get a lot of flack from my friend for not really chasing women.

I didn't know I'm a Sigma for decades now. I ignored women because I'm anti-maritalist, been aware of overpopulation, concerned that my grandchildren will live in an inhospitable planet 2 generations from now, divorces are more common, etc. My guy pals aren't divorced yet but regret being married. I decided to stay single when I was a preteen and I'm glad I stuck to it now that I'm 52. I still attract women (even half my age) because I still look like in my 30's. Something about being single makes me look young because I don't have the stress and anxieties that married people have (worrying about their child's future, constant disciplining of their child and other parental issues, possible spouse infidelity, declining relationship with the spouse, etc.).

A sigma male or female is on a par with an alpha. There is nothing beta about a sigma. They just tend to be more introverted. A beta will always follow the lead of the alpha. An alpha always likes to feel in control with the puppy dog betas in tow. A sigma needs no such recognition or attention. Yes, sigmas like you say do like to be a wallflower, take a back seat and watch the crowd, but they will never allow themselves to be subservient to any alpha in the room. I remember reading an article a few years ago which said "a sigma is an alpha without the crown". James Bond, although a fictional character is a perfect candidate for the title "Sigma". I find it amazing that all of a sudden people are claiming to be sigmas. They are rarer than alphas, betas, and omegas. So how are so many people here claiming to be one? Well said. I don't think she realizes that her placement of a Sigma between Alpha and Beta suggests an inaccurate not to mention devaluing description of exactly what a Sigma male is. They simply stand out and away from any social hierarchy by virtue of unique personality traits and behaviors. With more research I'm sure she'll identify her error and hopefully correct it going forward.

I fortunately haven't been hurt by women, although some in my younger days treated me rather nastily. Interestingly once I finished uni and got a good job things were different, which was a rather interesting discovery. I just find they don't want to have a relationship at the level I do. I have a good friend I have known for years. We often do not see eye to eye but he is entitled to his views. When a female acquaintance I knew met him she said he was all wrong for me. Yet she had no interest in the things I was.

You will use societal norms like being well-groomed, even working out a bit etc to get respect. That's using society's norms for your ends. But being part of it - that's another matter. As a Zeta, I don't even worry now about grooming. I let my hair grow unruly and long simply because I can't be bothered getting it cut just to please others. I will get it cut soon, not because of others, it's simply getting uncomfortable.

I don't think that sigma males are ignoring women so much as they aren't interested in dating them until the right one comes along. As for myself, I am always surrounded by a harem of women wherever I go. I talk with them, laugh at their jokes, go to parties with them, sit next to them in class, watch TV with them, and so on; but at the end of the day, I'm only interested in one special lady, and that's what I focus most of my attention on.

It's amazing you know so much about the psychology of these people like the Sigmas, etc.. I didn't know I'm a Sigma until you described it thoroughly. It's like you know me more than I know myself. There were 3 women who were attracted to me but they had boyfriends so I didn't make a move even if I liked them. I fell in love with one of them, she was so beautiful, so it broke my heart when I chose the moral path and stayed away.
Good man! 👍. It takes character to choose the moral path when it conflicts with personal desires. I had a similar thing happen to me years ago. I became friendly with a beautiful woman at my job who was very married. I kept it just friendly of course but i was secretly falling in love with her. I guess she trusted me because one day she confided in me about her marriage problems. I had the knowledge and good advice to help her fix her situation so i gave her the best advice I could knowing it would likely resolve her marriage and ruin my chances with her. But i cared for her and wanted to help. She later gave me a big, glorious hug that melted my soul and thanked me for my advice saying that it worked. I put on a smile but i was dying inside. Soon after, she quit to pursue a better job and i never saw her again. I really wanted to be with her but not by stealing her or sabotaging her relationship. Such is life.. but at least i still have my self respect. She never knew how much i cared.

I never go "searching" for female companionship or friends in general for that matter. There's just this sense of "desperation" one emits when doing that, and I hate the fact that I could possibly be coming across as being desperate or needy to anyone. If the right woman comes around (which they eventually do) that is on whom I will focus my attention.

a lot of internet citizens do this. they over-simplify and project labels onto themselves. I don't think a person can will themselves to fall into one of these categories. it gets to the point where people just take all 'positive' traits and apply them onto the Alpha side of the ledger, then take all of the negative attributes and put them on the Beta side of the ledger. but it's not like that. These descriptions are VERY basic and simply describe how people act in a group setting, NOT how good/bad of a person you are.

A sigma male is a representation of a VERY CONFIDENT AND HANDSOME BUT INTROVERT GUY -(all the other traits are not that important) alpha male is the same just extrovert. If u lack the confidence to walk up to a girl and hit on her or say u like her and u cant take the rejection with face value you cant be a sigma male or an alpha- but u can become one if you gain a lot of confidence. You have described me to a T. That's exactly me. I value my freedom more than anything else. I figured out the male female game by the time I was 15 years old and realized it was a no win game for men. In the battle between my hormones and my brain my brain won out. My greatest investment was in myself. I worked to become the best engineer I could possibly be and have had a long successful career I wouldn't have changed for the world. I'm interested in everything except for three things I lost interest in, fiction, sports, and pop culture. Other than that I'm interested in everything in the world and have to know what is happening everywhere all the time. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't learn something new on the internet, often many new things given my wide range of interests. As for women I have been pursued, had some brief superficial short term relationships but never considered marriage or having a family. To paraphrase Polonius' words in Hamlet "neither a follower nor a leader be." I do march to the beat of my own drum. I was born to live the life I lived. Nobody ever told me what to believe or not believe when I was growing up. Therefore I was allowed to become a critical thinker without any indoctrination into anything, just one of great gifts my parents gave me. And to their horror I turned into a cross between Attila the Hun and Genghis Kahn with a little Count Dracula thrown in (from my Romanian maternal grandmother's side of the family. Dracula's wives had nothing on her sisters.) So here I am, old living alone but I have never felt lonely even one day in my life. Nobody could contain or rule over me, not a boss, not a woman, not anybody.

This is literally me. Kinda strolling through life as an unintentional chick magnet. I never really resonated with the alpha paradigm but women are attracted to me too much for me to be a Beta. I am really confident but it probably shows in how I walk and how I look people I’m the eyes. Thank you for pointing out the archetype, especially as a Woman! Up to this point I've watched lot of videos about Sigmas narrated by men. This is actually the first one narrated by woman. And I liked the way you described Sigma males. One of the reasons I do not jump into a relationship before being 100% sure that she is single is to avoid double trouble. Sometimes a woman says she is single, but in reality she may have just broken up with her bf. Her bf might not have accepted it, so he may try to make up with her. She will think that he's changed, and they will end up together again - sometimes just to be sure that their broken relationship can't be mended.🤷
I’m 38 and only had 3 relationships in my life. But those 3 were very meaningful to me and I gave it 💯. I could have a relationship every week if I wanted but I simply don’t care for casual relationships. It has to be meaningful and special or I prefer nothing at all. as a Sigma, i know that my time is valuable and relationships need to be cultivated to be successful. if i don't have time avaiable or i think my time is better invested in other activities i will not pursuit that girl. In my case, women not only compete against each other but also against other stuff i like to do and that i find fullfilling. Taking time for a girl to me means removing that time from friends, hobbies, work, self improvement. if the girl doesn't put an equal effort to mine she is devalluing my time that i don't want to waste and our relationship will be really short lived
Being sigma is kind of curse. You have many good qualities and also bad ones. The partner must have very good self esteem to understand his struggles during voyage. Often the worst enemy for the sigma is in the mirror.
That's why not interested, all the more reason why I haven't been with another man in that way in almost 16 years and now that I know I'm taken he's the only one I want to be with not anyone else if I'm the only one he wants to be with if we need to be with each other together!!!! I ignore women that are trying to get attention. Why? Because I could see that their personality would draw others to her and if I'm with her, I don't want that attention anywhere near me. My wife is a beta. She is an honest, loyal, reliable, thoughtful, loving person that has earned my trust and respect. She does not seek dominance over me. She gives me my space and we operate as equals in all aspects of our relationship. As a beta she seeks validation from me. She can be codependent at times because she needs a leader figure. I do not see myself as a leader since I prefer to defer. But, I step up in those moments to be her support system and I am happy to do so. I want to be as reliable for her as she is for me. Reciprocity!!! A relationship of equals requires a surrender of ego. Good faith and trust is needed from both participants. Some people do not have that in them.
I see loads of men calling themselves sigmas here in a comment section as if it was a good thing. i'm 40 and i fit perfectly in this description. the only difference is that I'm not afraid to call myself a loser. i am still in that 80 percent of men that women will never find attractive.
When You said.. wont talk to a lady that is married or in a relationship.. I am like,,, Okay, that's me.. I find it rude to do so, and would hate it if someone did that to a girl I would be with. and then you said will hold feeling in till they know she is into them.. That is dead on with me.. Despite the name, I'm actually a sigma male. I just found that out last December from another video. I gave your video a "like" since I'm protective of women.
I married the only woman I've ever truly loved. Didn't know what love felt like until we got together and on the first date I knew she was the one for me. She was a sigma female (she has passed away now) and ploughed her own furrow. She was married to a drunkard whom she hadn't wanted to marry (she married young) when I first met her and I didn't ask her out until I knew she was divorced. I'm now 67 and finding it very difficult to find another sigma female because they are so desirable, they stay married.
