Interesting talk about network power supplies. My best result was running my network through an almost 20 year Isotek mini sub, i can't explain technically why, but i just hear a huge difference compared to say a sigmas evo 3 or Niagra 3000 which i've tested.

His first name begins with the letter A. NAIM should have known better than to send a $27K kit to a low end reviewer. Nothing against him, but he focuses on the low end and manufacturers should be smarter about who they send their gear to. The guy loves Sony and Onkyo which is not NAIM level. Same with McIntosh. Now they have a pretty big PR nightmare to deal with.

@@MichaelsHiFiAdventures tx for info! perhaps Naim manage to turn this into something positive.. I remember this story (vaguely) where someone did a test drive in VERY luxurious British car and did not comment about the 12-cylinder engine but complained about the somewhat noisy clock installed in the dashboard - the advertisement people heard about it, gave it a long thought and came up with a new ad-line, something like “the loudest noise you can hear in this car is the ticking of the analog clock” ;)

Could be. We'll see if they are capable of doing that. McIntosh did the same thing and send him a $9K piece and he compared it to a $1200 Sony IIRC.

I know what reviewer you are talking about. I typically don’t watch that reviewer. All flash with little value.

I agree. I am staying polite by not mentioning names as it is not my intention to bash him. I do believe the quality of his video production (how the video looks) is among the best by far.
