I was growing up with my grandmother till 7 years old. She was narcissists. Now I can see this devil inside her. In my life I am attracted narcissists man. Now I am ill with fibromyalgia
He thought it was hilarious he’d capture me on video while I was sleeping. He’d video me over and over quietly snoring then show me laughing. He did this so much. I wonder what other secret videos he took and photos that I have no idea about. Now that we are not together I wonder how often he looks at these videos and pictures… I know he keeps them and it makes me uncomfortable not even knowing what they are and what he gets from it. Creepy. Yes, he’d keep me up all night on the nights where the next days I’d have a big work day but not other nights where the next day I had nothing going on. So evil. So glad I cast him out of my life.
I had naked pictures taken without my knowledge when I was sleeping, he would actually pose me and I only found out when I saw the pictures. yes, really. the only great thing I now know about this past narc and what has happened to him is that he is stuck in a relationship with a woman that takes care of him and he can't leave or he will be on the street, so he trapped himself by never really working or doing anything except drugs and sex. I am sure she keeps a watchful eye on him and he's trapped now so karma, baby. karma. God sees all.
I went through the same exact behavior with my soon to be ex husband of 19 years. I finally woke up and left over a year ago. Good luck on your journey as well.
One time I was sleeping and had been VERY sick, this past December and I woke up to him talking to me. I said groggy “what did you say? I was sleeping” and he got VERY annoyed like I should have heard him and he angrily repeated himself. I was like WOW!!!
Yup, that’s exactly why they do it. It makes the whole job so much easier for them. The pictures and videos I have been wondering if maybe they are documenting their experiments in a very scientific way. Keeping track of their results. What works best and what doesn’t work.
They're always staring at you. Staring and fantasizing. They'll say they're looking at you because they love you. Believe me, it isn't love that they're feeling. It's wicked plotting. They're fantasizing and plotting about the chaos and pain they're going to inflict on you when it's convenient for them. No good thoughts are going thru their mind when they're staring at you. They are continuously imagining scenarios of evil. They're horrible people
It is like a psychotic episode, psychosis, or cluster B personality disorder. I am surprised that psychologist that he went to for depression, did not catch it. He was only temporarily given anti-depressants. My husband was a malignant, covert (hidden) grandiose, somatic (sexual), cerebral (brainy), cheating, surprising bi-sexual. I met his girlfriend, his hooker women and he said weird things about men. He visited hookers and when to orgies at work.
This was all too nasty, sickening and downright scary to me. I had to leave him "S-Pronto". In fact, he was sick when I left him, with a nasty, vile diarrhea and an episode of vomiting. As you understand I just had to leave.
I am sorry that I have to say that this was the worst experience of my entire life. It is a shame. He is living a wasted life. God, I am afraid is not going to look favorable on him, his life and his abuses that he did to my life. I only hope that he can turn his life back to God, if he was ever saved to begin with, and not abuse or use another person. We must always turn to God in our life here on earth, as our time here can be short.

This reminds me of when the narc used to watched me at work bc I worked with them then and would say things like, ‘I knew you were gonna cross your legs as u sat.’ Or I knew you were gonna grab tht or tht whiles watching me fiercely but I never thought deeply into it. Find him watching from behind the curtains, whiles walking to his car, I look out the window and boom the narcs eyes is right there 👀. Like wat the hell. I thought u were gone. Oh he didn’t want me talking with any of the male co workers whiles he flirted with everything in sight. U could see this ugly human fuming and plotting over every little thing. They’re some deeply troubled souls. Sheesh hope he finds peace for watever disgruntled, miserable, evil, demented being living inside of him. Good riddance
It's the obsessive stuff they do you think you would only see in horror movies. I remember him staring at me in the dark and saying things in his creepy voice like, "How did I find you?" - "How could I be so lucky?" or those warning such as, "You don't know what's ahead of you." ... Translation: "You're the perfect victim and I will have my pleasure destroying you."

This is the FIRST time I've heard this discussed!! Yes, one night I woke up in the middle of the night to see him sitting up in bed looking down at me with a goofy smile on his face. It was SO darn weird! No, he did not have an explanation when I asked him what he was doing. I don't know how long he stayed like that as I drifted back to sleep. Only God in heaven knows the depth of insane evil of those psychopaths. 😯I never regretted the day that I finally had the good sense to leave him.

Yeah even when I started a new job where a narcissist bullied me, the boss called a meeting to welcome me to the team and explained why I was there, what my skills were and I looked at each person and the narcissist was giving me this really hard stare. Her eyes didn't move, not did her head, she didn't blink, she just looked straight at me for about 10 minutes. I'd also sometimes look around from my computer to exercise my neck to notice her staring straight at me.
Gang narcissists of me are on meth and cannot sleep It's also a very very COWARDLY way for the demonics to feel they are not powerless regarding you! My father, ex, and male bosses were nasty. They were afraid of me now. Women are sneakier about it. Still not afraid of them either.
It is, by far, the absolute scariest f***ing thing whenever they smile like that. Their eyes are devoid of compassion and they stare at you like you’re an object to be toyed with.
He was breathing heavy and watching me sleeping and when I opened my eyes I asked him what’s wrong and he replied in an agreement tone that he knows what I’m thinking while I’m in deep sleep very terrorizing

I remember one time my narc ex gf whipped open the curtains in our hotel room before 7 AM, knowing that I need and enjoy my sleep. She said she wanted t get a picture of the sunrise, which she did, but I believe that was purposeful sleep deprivation, and that was early on in the relationship!

For me it was my father, watching me eat, almost salivating, looking like he wanted to eat me. When I asked why he was staring at me, he said he was just so happy I was the little blond haired, blue eyed princess he always wanted. Creepy.
I was married to an ab*sive man for 3 years. I frequently woke up in the night believing I was choking on something. I would wake up trying to get whatever I thought I was choking on out of my throat, then when I realized there was nothing there, I went back to sleep. This happened a lot when I was married to this man. Once I left, it NEVER happened again. It crossed my mind that maybe he was choking me in my sleep, but I’m not sure.
I could never understand why he would continue to wake me up at all hours of the night no matter how angry I got and told him not to. I realize they live off reactions. While he was plotting evil things against me, I was plotting on a way to get him out of my life and it happened sooner than I thought it would…it was all Divine Intervention ❤

Yes, my narcissist husband stared me at night and when I get up and find him awake I got scared and ask him why you still awake and why your staring at me so he used to say me because I love you and wants to see you while sleeping. But now I came to know what was his cruel intention behind
This was years ago, before I knew of narcissism. The first time it happened I woke up to him on his side, his arm in a way to hold his head up, his face was almost touching my head! I screamed & pushed him away. I told him he EVER does that again, my fist were flying! His excuse was he was asleep, now I have bad eyesight, room is dark. It took 2 more times when he (finally) got the message I wasn't kidding! It hasn't happened since. Also he's tried tapping me in the middle of the night, & after he gets hit back, he hasn't done it since. Now yes im still with him, i just can't afford to have my own place. Now if I won a large amount of money (lottery) well I'd be gone with the quickness!

Financial abuse is often a factor in narcissistic abuse. I stayed too. Couldn’t afford to leave plus declining health, lack of support from others and already seriously damaged self esteem. So I would say this. Learn everything you can. How to recognize what’s going on, what his triggers are. What yours are. Learn to take your power back. Bit by bit. And by that I mean power over your OWN experience. And if you can make it out. Very good. Even then keep learning. So that you don’t attract the same kind of partner next time. Wishing you the best.
I was being terrorized by a pair of peeping toms at night who were always trying to get photos of me while asleep. The police didn’t believe my story which was terrifying since the way a woman looks when asleep is similar to what she looks like dead.

The first thing I learned early on is when you're dealing with sociopath/ psychopath or narcissist, they try to keep you from sleep. Mine was angry that i can fall asleep in seconds. He would wake me up several rimes stating i stopped breathing. When that didnt wok he would set alarms on the clock at 3:30 am to go off then hit snooze till 7:00 when i was pregnant . I slept on the couch after that. I filed for divorce 10 days after daughter was born.
I got the whole " you stopped breathing, I saved you" it dawns on my now that this would only happen when I had to work a 16 hour shift the next day. They are just demons 👿
The Evil Demon I am married to has his alarm set for 4:00 A.M. knowing I wake at 5:30 A.M. for work! I lose 1 extra hour sleep daily! This man is a landlord and has been retired since his 30's. I had this experience too. It creeped me out. Not only videoing me in my sleep, but generally creepy side or direct stares that made no sense and were just seriously uncomfortable and made me think it was not the person but someone else there with me.
I truly feel that the evil inside my husband as overtaken him. I no longer resemble anything in him of who he was before! Dont even care if our childrens basic basic needs are met! But will Ensure!! his sidechicks and all his outside children and sidechick children are living on top of the world!! Private schools while ours attend public school
I've seen that stare a few times from different ones in family. All Narcs, and all now dead. I was the only Christian in the family. I do believe the evil could not survive in the presence of good. Each died prematurely of cancer diagnosis over the last several years. I know it sounds strange but they all were very abusive in verbal ways because I've tried hard to live a loving life and it irritated them not being successful in putting out my light. I'm still standing.

Jesus entrusted to the apostles limited power to assist in laying the foundation for true worship but when they all died, that was the end of pure worship, since that time, wicked ones started to enter into religion and used twisted words and human philosophy that has continued to our day, and is why so many are now turned off by religion. You have to be sincere in praying for help because true worship is not popular in today's world. Jesus said if they hated him they will hate you. There are sincere ones doing what Jesus commanded them to do at Matthew 28:19, 20, but it is difficult to recognize them because 1John 5:19, Says the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. It doesn't always mean that. I recorded my hubby too while asleep and it doesn't mean I'm a narcissist because he snored soo loud he woke up the neighborhood and when I told him to seek help he said he doesn't care. So I recorded him snoring so he could hear just how loud he was. Also I once took his picture not to show anyone but because he looked so comical to me while he slept.
It happened once in my room about 5 months before I left my narcissistic mother. I was very certain that I locked the door, and she used the emergency key to trespass my personal space. Instead of her waking me up, it's my instinct feeling of insecure that woke me up and noticed her creepy staring. I remembered the way she staring at me is a mixture of smirk and contempt. It's not friendly. She didn't even bother answering my question of why she doing this, and she just distracted me with some other not related excuses and chores. After that, I always moved a cabinet to blocked the door before I slept.
my mother was a psycho narc too. without too many details in order to keep this short, i had a man friend come into town and my mother ALWAYS tried to sleep with any man I was interested in (*behind my back of course) so she kept her bedroom door open that night and had him sleep in a room *right across from her room, far and away from where I was sleeping that night. so what happened, is she got up in the middle of the night apparently and slipped into his room (guess why) and found him not there! so she came storming and raging into my room and bashed open the door to where we were and was in a RAGE. no knocking but bam! to "catch us in the act" but it was her jealousy really. hahahahahahaha she was always so jealous and was furious that he didn't go to *her* room and was super pissed that she didn't find him in bed waiting for *her*. she was married but was always always on the prowl, sorry to say. even with family members, my dad's brothers or any other man who came around. even her nephews, I swear. nothing was sacred. I used to be embarrassed by her being this way but now she is dead so.............I just keep trying to heal and letting go of negative experiences.
You described my sleezestack of an EXmother: chain smoker, alcoholic, greasy headed, schizophrenic, unshaven, barely clothed, but she had to flirt with every man that fell into her filthy web, from brother in-laws to my brother's young friends. She will fabricate slandering stories on any woman or even child that she views as competition. Even though I have been zero contact for several years, I am still dealing with shame for no reason and being slandered across 4 states by the likes of her.
My psychologist never ever stopped staring at me. She always looked straight into my eyes! Non stop. Her look was serious. Penetrating. Mesmerizing. Hypnotizing. At the beginning I thought it was nice that she focused on me but only after she got rid of me with no early notice, and after a long time of trying to figure out what happened to me in that long period of time with her and that ‘therapy’ did I realize that that stare was totally not normal!!! I can still see her eyes and the weird look in them. Did anyone experience any kind of abuse by their therapist?
The narcissist in communal narcissism often uses a flashlight when doing that sort of thing. A real life situation I had to go through while more than one of them was threatening me with being put away for the rest of my life into an institution for the insane; While the person who put me into the hospital through domestic violence 5 days after I gave birth was lying about so many things. I could have died before finally convincing all of the people working in that kind of communal narcissism towards me as being undeserved.
Narc stared at my children while they slept as well! They would wake up and see him and he'd pretend to be checking something in the room etc.... With me he would pretend he picked something off the floor or run to the window on my side of the bed pretending he was looking outside. You CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP!
My ex would do this. I'd wake to see him leaning over me, staring at me. It was very discomforting, especially as I'd told him how my big brother from my psycho family would often wake me by holding a pillow over my face, amongst other tortures. He was never punished as he was the golden child whose pathological lies were always believed. I can still hear him roaring with laughter when I awoke, frightened and struggling for breath. The ex would also take lots of photos of me, even though he knew I hated it, and would only give them one cursory glance, so that too felt very weird. And the staring with those dark, unblinking eyes. I'd get the same from my narc niece and her flying monkey husband, glad to say they're out of my life now. I just ran across yet another narcissist in a support group I attend. He pretended to be my friend, but would make so many passive-aggressive remarks, I'd wonder what his problem was with me. It was only after the 2nd time he'd humiliated me in front of an audience, that the penny dropped, and he's now persona non grata. I wont give people 2nd chances anymore, that's for sure. This reminds me of waking to find my ex holding a pillow just above my face or screaming my name through clenched teeth right next to my face. Talk about terror. He always claimed it was because of snoring. wtf?
Danish I will never forget right before I ended my Toxic Relationship I caught my ex staring at me when I woke up. He was looking at me as though what does it take to break you. I remember asking him why are you staring at me like that? He didn't have an answer. I never experienced that before.
i dont know if my narc demon father stared at me while i slept or not. what i do remember is that he used to love to catch me off guard to just start talking endlessly. for example when i came out of the restroom, or just when stepping out of a door, or after waking up or going to sleep. i remember when i was very young, 13 or 14, i found him standing at my bed and talking while i was sleeping. he was talking about a pimple i had gotten recently and how it dissapeared while i was sleeping. he told me to get up and go look in the mirror. whatever was behind his behaviour, its just creepy. and so many times when i came out of the restroom, he was standing there and just started talking some random BS. i had to literally shove past him. at other times he used to watch me walk across a room and just when i was stepping out, he started talking to make me stop and come back. in my culture, its considered a bad omen if someone is called by name while stepping out of the house. dont know if his intention was to cast a freakin bad omen on me but its just deliberate shitty behaviour. i also remember an incident when we went to a wedding, i randomly walked past a table where he was sitting with an aunt of mine. thats when he said in a voice loud enough for me to hear that i was difficult to get married off. that freaking demon was gossiping about me and telling people that i am difficult to get married. and he said it as if i was supposed to hear that and as if i would have been involved in that conversatiom!!! i realized very much later what that tactic was supposed to be. he was smearing my image and talking in a way that i randomly hear the smear but while walking so that 1. i dont reply back (a real conversation is when the concerned ppl are involved in the conversation from beginning to start, but when someone is walking past, - the person walking past is NOT a member of that conversation and cannot fully reply). this tactic was supposed to push through the idea that i know this about myself and its a well-known and well-discussed fact that i am difficult to get married!!!! such a freaking psycho!!!! all these things first of all, no normal person would do. no normal person would go around gossiping about their own child and specially not without discussing it with them. i was very young at that time and even in my culture i had not reached marryable age!!!! and second of all, to present a smear campaign against anyone, let alone your own child, in such a disadvantageous way, is just devilish. and the demon has tried to tarnish my and my little brothers image in the whole family when we were just really little kids and our life had not even started. the demon will burn in hell for all eternity for what he has done.
I don't what country you live in, but here in the USA we need strict libel by slander laws and writs of protection for survivors narcissistic abuse. As well as a legal path for adult survivors to divorce family members. His slander reduced your odds of a happy, successful marriage. I think narcissistic parents damage one child to make them their personal slave. You are not alone in your experience and feelings.
@@bewarefalsenonprofits true. slander, misinformation and deffamation are serious crimes in any civilized country. in my country, there is a legal way to divorce family members and i am looking into it. its a very long process though. i think survivors of narcissistic abuse should definitely use law to protect themselves from abusive family members.
Danish, i can't believe all the topics you talk about I've been through. Being photographed sleeping to video . To being told how i should dress, to toning down my makeup. Can't swim without him, can't wear a bathing suit, can't shake a mans hand or talk to even a male store clerk. To him watching my eyes and where I look to the point i kept my eyes down to avoid fights. I felt like i could not stand one more lecture from him about anything. His phone he protected, slept with it under his pillow. His crazy morning bathroom habits always involving his phone. He told me he loved my personality but only for him, tone it down in public. He wanted to know my every move. Texting all day and all night. Its like he sensed if i did anything different from my routine. He'd be calling right then. He followed me on GPS. He tried to dictate what friends i could see. How did i ever put up with all of this. Of course there is more....its just so much to remember and write. He told me he always tells the truth, and he could never stay home, always out.
Wow thats new and yes! So many times this happened with me where i woke up to him staring at me. It seems like a sleeping person is at hia most vulnerable state and so its the perfect opportunity for a predator to attack. They probably fantasize this attack while staring at you sleeping
My ex did all the stuff you said in your video relating to sleep. He would stick his finger near my nose while 4am in the morning waiting with a phone and take photo. I was like what the hell ... im half asleep, at those times i did not know much about NARC behaviour but everything you say is 1000 percent true. They plot so much it took me 7 years of monitoring his behaviour to make sure im not wrong. They never are wrong and make u believe you are crazy. Thank you so much Danish. My inside gut feeling asked me to stop sleeping with my narc husband because it was killing me from inside . I only felt so used and sleep deprived with him. Now, sleeping in a different bed with my children and I promise I get quality sleep. He used to watch me throughout the night and monitor my heartbeat and tell me that I knew the exact moment that I drifted off to sleep. Only to continue with his secret acts after that in the night.

Once, in my late teens, I woke and saw my narc mother standing in the doorway just staring at me. It was both unpleasant and disconcerting with no parental love emanating from that stare. I have no idea if that was the only time or not.
I thought the flashlight was to help her find my prescription meds in the dark. A couple months ago, I found a pillow had knocked over everything on my nightstand. This pillow had been left there in the mess. It was a couch pillow from her living room. It wasn’t a pillow I ever slept with, and it didn’t belong in that bedroom. Yes, I 100% know what y’all are thinking. You guys get it. When I tell “normals” about stuff like this, they don’t believe me or think I’m exaggerating.

Mine did always stare at me in every single minute whether we are alone or public which gave me sometimes a question mark that is he alright I mean loving someone doesn't mean you keep on staring at them every single min and that too when it seems to be weird Finally left after a year bcz he did wch was unacceptable that he cheated by getting back to ex n the other when not surrendered in front of him and his plans he started using my secrets against me.... I have experienced this from both of my parents; the staring and sleep deprivation. I would pretend to be asleep while aware of them staring at me/watching me. THEY BECOME POSSESSED BY EVIL SPIRITS THROUGH THEIR UNRESOLVED PAST TRAUMA & UNFORGIVENESS✨🙏🏽

Born and not made 100%. I can testify that we have narcissism in our family tree. My parents were loving and neurotypical. I had to share a room with my three year older narc sister since toddlerhood. Torture. She was a baby narc and grew up into the aggressive thing she is today. Neurologically, her behaviour has not changed. She was NOT traumatized but has traumatized me and others.

When I got my own room around age 11, she kicked the door in and broke the frame to beat me up in the closet when my friend was over for no reason other than she was locked out. She has been one of the worst influences on my life in multiple ways. She still has me as a target. She will not let go.
Oh wow I had a creepy old roommate who would do that. Didn't know about Narcissism at the time, but he reminded me of my father, who also had the creepy stare as I was growing up. This man insisted that God had told him I was to be his wife, so he began demaning conjugal rights, which just seemed crazy to me. I was told by some friends who were tending to me after I had been thrown off my horse and was out of it in pain that he had sat down next to me and started molesting me until they chased him off. Now I understand his odd behavior is characteristic of Narcissism. I'm glad he moved on.
Just a thought I've had about the sleep deprivation. The narcissist I worked with once said that I must be tired because if how I was walking around the office. They asked if I had been up all night playing computer games. They had no reason to think that as I didn't talk about computer games at work because I had practically stopped playing them years before. It was a weird comment for her to make but now I wonder if it was because she wanted to think that I was sleep deprived.
My ex narc recorded me snoring and also took unflattering pictures of me sleeping. I wonder if he shared them with others, especially his new supply. Just creepy.
The NARC I am married to.....did the same with me! He would deprive me of sleep for months on end and take the most unflattering pics of me asleep and whatsapp them to me! I am sure he shared them with his supply/supplies/backburners!!! I have heard with my own 2 ears and read what no spouse should hear spoken or written about them .....especially when it is not true 😢....it hurt for a very long time, still does but no longer has the intense power over me! Still leaving his family undone while the outside world thinks he is so charming and wonderful! One day... ..they will meet their true match!
I was shocked at the title because this is so true with me. The staring while sleeping & the devilish grin. No one would believe me, so I would keep my situation secret. My stomach churned when out in public & people would say “what a nice person!” I’m grateful for your message
The narc ex I divorced is now a minor celebrity with people interviewing him which are available online... I saw one such interview and laughed at the lies... Are people naive or is it all PR...and many media made idols are in reality narcissists
@@samk6051 I think people in general are blind. If you try to explain your experience to some, they gaslight you & say “I don’t think that’s what the person meant to do, I think you perceived it wrong…” I just stop talking & end the conversation quickly.
My husband was say a lot that when I breathe at night my breaths were great, quiet and good. I didn't think anything about it but one day I said how do you know I breath quietly. He said when he woke up at night he would check. I said you look at me breathing and he said with pride- yes, just wanted to make sure you breathe OK.????? A creepy feeling came over me but this was long before he cheated and we divorced. While we were back and forth, I caught him staring at me (one of the times we were going to make it work)and I ask him why was he staring at me. He said-oh I can't look at you now? I said it is creepy, you are creeping me out! He quit. Never did it again to my knowledge. Also, everything he came back as we were trying to make it work, at night we would bexwatching TV and loud bans would hit the front of the house (we have alum siding. In my mind I thot it was someone banging against the outside but looked -no one was there) or in my mind I sounded like someone was throwing something against the house. He never would check which was strange as he was always the "protector". It got so bad I even went out the next morning to see if perhaps a bird was dead that might have hit the house. Nothing. The times we separated and now divorced, it has never happen again. Yuk! Now, I wonder if it was not demonic spirits acting. That, in itself, makes me think what in the world. Now this is a man I loved with everything in me and was always kind, loving, considerate. What is up with this? He would comment somebody is hitting the house but NEVER checked it out.????????
It definitely sounds like those noises could've been coming from your ex's demons. My ex used to get me in weird situations and never protected me either. They're just adult children who have been taken over by dark entities
@MarjyGTV wow! I started thinking that. I figured they were trying to get to him. I am a devout practicing Christian. One night after all this came up we were talking- thought you could talk to them and I reached over and touched his back. He shook so violently like someone had stuck him with an electric stobe-not like surprise from a touch. He jerked so it scared me. Same night, later, I touched his leg and he did the exact same thing. Never happen again throughout the balance of divorce.

It might sound very strange ..but the day I was to get married to my narcissistic ex a swarm of bees settled in a tree near our house to make a new hive... And the day I finally escaped my abusive marriage the building manager of our apartment called us to warn about a swarm of bees on the loose because their hive was getting fogged. This was a city 750 miles away from the city where we got married. I always thought it was god or my guardian angels sending me a sign.
💯 on point. One of your best videos I must say. Mine took pics and videos of me while sleeping. Even hit me on my head in the middle of the night when in deep sleep and then did as he was deep asleep. When I asked what this was he answered" If this was so then you probably earned it". And used sleep deprivation a lot, also jealous when wanting a nap (he even got jealous when I talked to my mom on the phone or when I did something for me or worked somewhere else... that he considered as not useful for him and called this doing nothing ) and caused psychic stress by telling me to leave and when I tried to leave shortly after, he would come after me and get agressive. This happened 4 times before I could finally leave and escape. He attacked me indoor and outdoor in front of the house and at the end of the street. Today, looking back from a distance and with all the information I have thank to you and others providing content explaining what is going on, I must say that I can not understand why I fell for such a person and I ask myself why I did not trust my intuition. Every word they speak and every "nice " thing they do is in fact a lie or manipulation. Nothing else to find. Pure evil. Glad I today know why I met these 3 people. Looked at family patterns esp these of mom and dad and at family dynamics. It was not my fault but I got all the consequences ( waisted years, no children trauma and people looking at me saying your life is weird.... Even though I am a lovely person and the only thing that went wrong was I got tought how to dress and behave in high society but also not to defend myself and not to be myself but rather meet others'expectatiobs as a child. My parents did not see that they chopped s.th off of me when raising me strict. That made me the perfect narc target. I knew at age 10 that I had gotten the wrong tools to survive. I told my parents back then. But I had no clue how this would enroll the play over the years. Tragic. I feel betrayed in every way you can think of. Time, peace, money, lifetime,.... At least my parents did not do it intentionally like the 3 narcs I met. They simply did not know better. Feel like my life got wasted or I wasted it. Makes me sad. Would have loved to have a big family.
I never experienced his piercing stares at night. Maybe because I was always the one who goes bed very late while he was an early bird. But I always experienced being woken up even if he knew that I struggle to fall asleep, he always ignored this. He was waking me up at 4:00-5:00am to ask me if I want a cup of coffee (literally 1-2h after I go to bed). Then he was sleeping back while all my sleep and my day got ruined cuz of migraine attacks from lack of sleep. I don't even mention him yelling at me while I was having migraine attacks or need to go to a bathroom while we are outside even if while I was pregnant. He was definitely enjoying to see me suffering, struggling, trying to ignore my own needs, even the basic ones. I'm happy that all are gone now. I'm free. Still struggling in some point but I'm not restless anymore. I'm improving slowly. Thanks for those amazing videos Danish. They are pretty helpful.
Yes, it happened to me!!! OMG, I woke up and heard him saying something to me in a very soft voice. Like he was trying to put subliminal suggestions in my ears while i was peacefully asleep?? Truely unsettling. Thanks for asking. Cant believe it took me, over 35-40 years to finally understand what that was all about.
My god that sounds terrifying! I'm glad I live alone now. It's like that scene in Misery with Kathy Bates when James Caan woke up only to find her staring at him blankly and like a true psycho, with the booming thunder and lightning outside. That bit scared the living daylights out of me as a kid! But that was just a movie! My heart truly goes out to abused partners who have to put up with that crap in real life. 🙏
Just want to say coincidental,because I found my wife doing same thing some up at 5am there she was up on elbow staring at me asked if she was ok ,just got a grin I did feel chills,had enough after having 2dreams in last week one was been draged by my ankles,and yesterday had a dream I was been lifted up,both left me terrified,then my wife last nite.strange.I pray for my Lord Jesus to protect me.thank you Danish much love and respect.
While they're staring at us while we are sleeping or sitting or doing anything, they're making evil plans and looking with lots of contempt. They know we are going to be their victims. I have experienced this. this.
Several times I woke from sleep with my boyfriend intensely staring at me. The first time I smiled thinking he was being romantic until I noticed it wasn't a loving gaze. It was a pure evil glare. When I asked him what's wrong thinking maybe I elbowed or kicked him in my sleep he just smirked and laid down turned away from me. Other times when I was exhausted from work and would fall asleep while watching tv he would make a snort noise to jolt me awake or purposely wake me to say go to bed knowing once I wake from that state I can't fall back to sleep. Other times he would "accidently" knee me hard or slap me in the face pretending to be asleep. He never cuddled with me and always faced away from me so I know the slap and knee was intentional since it was the palm of his hand and left a mark. I had bruises from his "dreaming" excuse.
My husband woke me with cusswords and beratement every morning when he got up for work. Hundreds and hundreds of times. Pretty sure it's a crime...torture....and then I was expected to "get over it", or I was the problem.
Your insight is so accurate. My ex-narcissist husband would do the exact same thing and it was creepy to wake up during the night and see him in the doorway simply staring at me. He also would use sleep deprivation tactics.
Yes I've experienced this multiple times, she was looking at me with a evil expression on her face, soon as I made eye contact with her she dropped the evil stare, I asked why she was looking at me like that and she responded looking at you like what? Because I was waking up out of my sleep I thought maybe I was tripping I now know for curtain that I was with a sycophantic narc because she has checked every single box now I find this video giving me even more confirmation that this woman was a predator posing as a house cat....thank you Jesus he removed her from me, I'm here to tell you people that these evil and dangerous people exist. I should have known better when her birthday one year was 6/6/06.

I would rather not speak on this topic but I realize that hearing from others who have faced narcistic abuse really helps me to feel 'not alone' so here goes... my male parent used to stare at me after my older brother ran away from home. I remember waking up in the night terrified by him just standing in my doorway immovable staring at me. I do not know how I was awakened but I remember thinking thoughts like 'maybe if I do not move this time, he may not see me or know I am awake' ... To make an awful story short, one day I realized that I may die if I stayed in my biological father's care, so when he realized I was packing to leave, I was so terror stricken that I became numb walking down that hallway when he called me to the living room...but in a rare show of kindness he offered to take me to my maternal grandmother's house the next day where my older brother was...my brother hid when we got there as he didn't want to interact with our biological father. He was terrified. It's okay though, you see, my brother is as big as 'The Rock' now lol, so he sends a loud clear message to the word to leave him alone, he made weightlifting his passion. Despite this, he is still a beautiful, caring soul. As for me, though I was blessed with early retirement, I am a U.S. Navy Veteran who has studied Martial Arts. That's me 4 yrs ago in the profile pic. I try to take care of myself, that and God is why I look so young for my age as I'm actually 50 now :D Almighty God is the reason why we are still standing and we will never forget the many times He has blessed and looked out for us. *Almighty God is my all. I found my husband standing over my bed while I was sleeping. He lied and said that he was checking the outside temperature. Which he would have been unable to see, because it was too dark outside. He would shine a piercing flashlight into my eyes, while I was sleeping. He would either lie or give no excuse. I found a mysterious bruise on my neck or windpipe. I found different size bruises on my legs, after sleeping a night. These were not explained. He would be up during the night, because he would be on the late-night shift on the weekends. Thank goodness I am now divorced from him, as he was trying to hurt or kill me. I left him while he was sleeping one morning, without a word, but just a very brief note.
At night, before I left him, he would start up the gasoline powered generator and it gave off toxic, poison to gas me while i was sleeping. I would have gassed me and our cat, I guess he did not care. He smoked me out of the house with the smoking pellet stove, but I made him come back home from work. His favorite thing was to use "road-rage" to scare or intimidate me. This was very scary to me, as he had asked or demanded that I jump off a cliff. I told him No. I believe that he wanted to collect on my life insurance. I think that he wanted to Glacier, so he could isolated, kill me and leave me for dead. The last few years with him were a "living hell", and not know what to expect next. I just had to get out to save my life. It took a whole year in prayer, all by myself, to get out and simply leave him. God really did save my life.
This happened way too many times to me over the years from one person. It has always made me uncomfortable and has had me uneasy during and since still to this day. Thank you for bringing this up.
My X used to do this a lot. This behaviour is much worse during the night than during the day. It's ridiculous. My Grandad with dementia behaved like this too (massive sleep deprivation). 'Hell no it's not '- exactly. This is sick. Thank you for covering this Danish.
My mother always tried, too often successfully, to control me in a demeaning manner. So after my father’s death , I was 32 at that time, she got me to a boat trip on the Wolga river from Kasachstan to Moscow . This was at a time where cellphones did not exist yet, so no photos yet. We had a small “room “ on the boat for two persons.I was very tired after this long journey and fell asleep , still at night time. She told me, she had watched me ! Sleeping. I asked myself why she would do this, I didn’t ask her.To me it felt weird. Now I understand this was a way to tell me their eyes controlled me while I was asleep. She used to control my body functions early on in my childhood. She commented on everything she could get aware of, like when I had my first monthly bleeding at the age of nearly thirteen: Pause. That’s early though. Why would she do this!? So I even was “ proven” wrong on this matter. Or she could look at me before my monthly bleeding to ask suspiciously, if this might be the case? I hated that. I know there are certain signs, but why would she want to deal with this? Her ongoing tactics were blaming, shaming . Why should I be ashamed of becoming a woman? When I Read the headline of your video I felt urged to watch . Her behavior I felt was all about controlling me.I was unconscious this happened or how to name it. I often felt kind of furious about this. I learned from various sources over the last months, not only from you, that both my parents had narcisstic traits and how this followed me into adulthood. I am thankful to learn what all this was about ( I am 67 now) and why I had so much guesswork to do during my life. My first husband was openly narcisstic, my second one covert. It seriously hardly killed me. When I got out I was happy and curious during that summer. A severe depression hit me during the fall of that year. I recovered, attended a good clinic . Afterwards I felt my difficulties in decision-making. The smallest ones were difficult for me: I was over-functioning when I was with others. I was not capable of living my life on my own. That’s exactly what my parents taught me. They knew they would’nt live forever, so why would they do this? Now I understand the impact of my upbringing on me. I do understand my feelings now and why I couldn’t don’t anything about it. I share this to also make others to feel and think about themselves in a healthier way. I am on my way of healing.
A few members of my family are always trying to set me up to feel like crap. It’s so bizarre. Sadistic is a word that comes to mind often when I ruminate on their behavior.
My mother used to do this through my childhood and early adulthood. Realize fully now she was plotting various strategies to take me down. "Mom, how come you staring at me?" "Nothing." - continues to stare but I could never make out what vibe was behind it.
That satanic stare always made my skin crawl. When I caught my past partnet staring at me in a public outdoor market, i would turn my head and then roll my eyes in disgust. Would occasionally get this narc stare from strangers (men) in a supermarket or from women in more closed societies like saudi arabia. The whole experience made me sick to my stomach. No more; I just ignore these people and certain environments and go on my way. The best revenge is to remain ignorant and indifferent. 😊
I have noticed that some people in the crowd or in the streets will give you this strange look as if they saw sth peculiar and will look at you longer that they should with no reason(me looking just fine and usual no bright makeup or flashy clothes) i think many of them can see sth, perhaps they see people who ard or can be their pray and get interested but i try to stay indifferent as well. The powers that were granted to them by Devil is not my business at all.
Oh yes! This happened almost every day and night. I used to get chills in my spine. I used to keep my eyes closed and hold my urine, cough or sneeze. And the moment I had sneeze and got scared to see him staring at me he would laugh at me as if something funny happened. But I used to feel a hollow and deep pain in my chest and stomach and the pain was so intense that i can't even explain.
Oh my gosh!! I went through this exact scenario with my ex. I would wake up to him staring at me and sometimes trying to "use" my sleeping body parts to satisfy himself. So so creepy!! I'm so grateful and blessed to be out of that situation. Only other victims of this abuse would understand our traumas.

You are always right Danish. This narcissist I dated for 13 years used to do the same thing to me. Whenever he abused me I would go silent totally. Then after some weeks he would lure me back in with sweet treats like taking me out to fancy places cuz he knows I love to dress up and go out to parties. But everytime I get back with him and we go out, while I'm dancing next to him or drinking my drinks unaware. I suddenly look over at him and he's staring at me with bulging eyes and sometimes they're black n shining under his cap. It's creepy like he's staring deep into my soul, but I stare right back into his black eyes without blinking. He did it so much that his friends saying "he loves you so much he keeps staring you down" but they have no clue what's going on. One particular time he stared at me like that and I stared back then he said in a low growling voice "YOU!" And said nothing else until we got home he said " I should just cut your throat right now and go throw you away" I almost fainted. I think when they stare like that they're having evil thoughts and hatred about you but because they're not self aware they're led away in those thoughts that they stay there until someone catches them, kinda like staring in space.
